Happy with my new bathroom. Earlier this year i had a boiler replaced & re-sited and was very happy with the work. Now I have just had a complete refurbishment of my bathroom. Again I am happy with the result. The team arrived on the date agreed; they were well organised and the work of the different trades was well co-ordinated. A couple of minor teething problems were dealt with quickly and without fuss. Thanks to Chris (plumber) & Nick (carpenter) and Minty (tiler) who put in a lot of hard work to make my nice new bathroom! Thanks.

Had Rudkin & Herbert to change my bathroom into a shower room as age and disability prevented use of bath, and my sister has a severe balance problem. Rob designed the new room, and provided an excellent team of workers, including Nick the Carpenter, Chris and Simon the plumbers, Dave the electrician and Minty the tiler, not forgetting Ray, who took all the rubbish away. All were very hardworking and pleasant friendly people. We were extremely satisfied with the design which, included a seat and grab rails. The quote was very good.

Converted a shower room into a wetroom. Were quick to provide a quote which was much better than competitors. Helpful in design and choosing colours for floor and walls. Arrived when they said they would and always kept us informed about what would happen next and when. Cleared up at the end of each day. All staff were friendly and a pleasure to have around the house. Returned quickly to make adjustment to shower temperature.
Highly recommend them.

We recently had our old heating system replaced and new combi boiler installed. Very happy with the service and standard of work completed and it's all working nicely with no problems. Ian was very thorough when he came to give the initial quote and explained exactly what we'd need and what work would be carried out. Recommended.

then got stuck straight in they had ripped out water boiler and six radiators in one day then day 2 started the instalation of boiler and five radiators then david turned up to connect to electrics after being told 4 -5 days the instalation took 3 days and then glen came to check the thermastat and all the guys where hospitable and very clean its a job well done i would recommend anyone needing a boiler and radiator instalation use rudkin and herbert for the job they are a very special company and the team are the very best there is

A really good job from start to finish,through the quotes to getting the right radiators,Dianne kept me informed throughout the procedure.the lads did a great job,clean and tidy,highly recommended.I'm extremely pleased with the result.

The work was carried out very efficiently and to a very high standard by friendly people.

Firstly, I would have no problem at all in recommending Rudkin & Herbert to Friends and Family, from the very competitive quote, right through to the installation of our new Worcester combi boiler. Big thanks go to Paul & Joe who carried out the work over 3 days. Both lads arrived promptly on time, with Paul keeping us fully informed of each part of the job and what needed moving to make the installation go smoother. Both Paul & Joe were very courteous, polite and very tidy in there work, even making a friend of Charlie the dog who occasionally got in the way. Paul got to work removing the old boiler, whilst Joe replaced the radiator values, and other work that needed doing etc. There was a couple of slight issues due to a previous installation, but we needn’t have worried as Paul had got this covered. He even sorted out an electrician, again due to a previous installation. Overall both lads worked tirelessly over the 3 days, with Paul showing me how the controls of the boiler work and going through all the instructions supplied. Nothing was to much trouble at all. I have just had my en suite totally replaced by Rudkin and Herbert and the whole experience from quote to the final result was so straightforward. The room looks fantastic and it really has exceeded my expectations. Rob listens to what you need and then helps you to pick out the items to best suit your needs and budget.
The team, Chris, Simon, Minty, Nick and Steve, arrived each day when they said they would (not all at the same time, just when their part of the work was being done, it would have been crowded otherwise!). Rob project managed and kept me informed every step of the way. The team worked very carefully making sure all floors were covered to protect them and took great care at all times. All the rubbish was removed and everything was left really clean. They are a lovely bunch of very highly skilled craftsmen and I highly recommend them.

After having the guys replace and move my boiler earlier this year, they have just finished an entirely new bathroom for me. This included all new flooring with lovely tiles, wall tiles, ceiling, extractor, lighting, suite, everything. A complete change.

The guys arrived as promised every day. They worked cleanly and were courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. We had the full range of trades including tilers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians and some others as well and they were all great.

To be honest if I could just have them finish the rest of the house I would. Even the inconvenience of only having one toilet was managed as much as possible, Although I would recommend that anyone having this done should think about a toilet backup, even a festival toilet, as turfing a load of people out of the bathroom so you can, you know, is embarrassing.

In summary, if a whole new bathroom is on your to do list. Give them a call. They may not be the cheapest quote but we couldn't be happier and you get what you pay for.

Excellent service - comprehensive and detailed quotation showed exactly what we were paying for, down to the lengths of copper pipe. Paul turned up on time and did a great job of replacing our boiler and one radiator. Very happy to recommend.

A very positive experience from start to finish. Needed very old boiler removed, including asbestos flue, and a new boiler and hot water tank installed. Ian Herbert could not have been more helpful talking me through the process and explaining how the work would be done. His quote was slightly cheaper, but I would have gone with Rudkin and Herbert anyway because of the professional approach and they are a Leicester, and thus local, firm. All the work was done to schedule with minimum of fuss and mess. Very happy and would use them in future and recommend them to anyone.

I would highly recommend this company. All staff are really helpful and friendly. We have had a full central heating system installed and the workmanship is fantastic.

Major central heating and hot water upgrade done to a very high standard and with great professional skill. House has not been as warm for a decade, and radiators cold for years now back to life. I have been very impressed with the whole process from survey to completion of the job, especially with Matt who was in charge of the works and put 110% effort in to get everything working.

Rudkin and Herbert did a fantastic job which they finished to a very high standard. They project managed the work from start to finish, taking into consideration any changes that we wanted to make to the original plan. We are delighted with the transformation of an under-utilised space into a lovely downstairs accessible wetroom/bathroom. Highly recommended.
