Signed up for 10% discount but code not valid. Emailed Ring but no response. Received auto email offering £5 off with a code BUT the code was not valid. Let's see if they respond to this review, if not then that should speak volumes about their customer service

Unfortunately, the quality of the battery charger from Ring falls well below standard m. It has stopped working after two weeks use. It’s quality matched only by an equally poor customer service team who refuse to replace it. Despite providing the pricey reference and serial numbers.

I queried whether I could buy a replacement hose for a tyre pump. They sent me one free the next day, with an alternative hose thrown in as well. First rate service

I bought a RTC 6000 tyre inflator in September 2022 and recently had a problem with the digital display not showing the actual tyre pressure.
I contact Ring technical support and despite the product being out of warranty they sent me a brand new one free of charge.
Excellent customer service and understanding.

RSC612 Don't bother buying one of these. I have now had two, both have failed in just over a year. Total waste of money, will never by any Ring stuff again, expensive rubbish.

Really pleased with these guys as our charger went bang in the middle of the recent storms, leaving us with two flat batteries and just one roadworthy car.

Old unit was little used, but out of warranty, Ring provided a replacement FOC. RSC808 is a lower spec than the 12A smart charger, but they were under no obligation to help us at all.

Nice to see some old fashioned customer service still available in some places

Purchased an RAC 900 Tyre Inflator in Aug 2022. It stopped working. A phone call explaining the problem followed by an email with proof of purchase with receipt attached a replacement was sent two days later. No hassle great customer support. Thankyou

Bought a Ring RTC 400 from Screwfix. After being used less than a dozen times in 18 months the digital dial stopped showing the pressure. Very disappointed with this machine and won’t be buying another. This one is consigned to the bin and I have to replace it but won’t be buying another Ring inflator.

I had a problem with an item purchased 14 months ago and have had beyond expected service from both technical support and Q A dept in Leeds special thanks to them.

My 3rd Ring tyre inflator RAC 820, i'd bought a couple of years ago and used less then 5 times, broken, crap, just like the last couple before this one. DO NOT BUY THESE TYRE INFLATORS! Utter SH*TE.

Purchased two RAC635 digital tyre inflators through Amazon in 2017.

Recently, the air hose failed on one of the units after significant use.

An explanatory note and a couple of photos later, tech support sent me a replacement hose free of charge, which I subsequently fitted myself.

Problem solved at no cost to myself, despite the unit being over 6 years old.

I've had three of Ring's auto-stop tyre inflators over the past five years. Each one has failed. The one that failed yesterday after 18 months of hardly any use is the last straw. I'll not be buying a fourth, A shoddy product that clearly isn't built to last.

Bought a Ring battery-based jump start charger which was subsequently recalled due to a 'high risk of fire'. Trying to get them to take it back for safe disposal but they're no longer responding.

Seems they're not willing to take responsibility for their products.

I've received an email from the Amazon Product Safety Team that the "Ring Automotive RPPL360 jump starter" I bought 3 months ago and has been in the boot of my car since is faulty, in fact dangerously faulty, they said in the email:

"The Office for Product & Standards (OPSS) has published a recall notification about the below product that you have bought on Amazon.co.uk due to the following risk: fire.

More information can be found in the official notification below"

I can not post the link to the UK government website detailing the official notification as links are not allowed in reviews, but following the link I understand there are two faulty batches, it says:

"Risk level: Serious

The product has been identified as presenting a high risk of fire. A manufacturing fault can lead to the sleeving on the battery cable being damaged by a solder pin of a component on the PCB. This creates the possibility of a short circuit and the PCB overheating. The proximity to a lithium-ion battery presents a risk of the battery igniting.

Corrective action:

Consumers should immediately stop using the RPPL360 jump starter. Store the product outside, protected from water and rain. For further information contact the retailer for the up-to-date advice for obtaining a refund and disposing of the unit."

I am happy with the product (putting aside the whole fire thing) and just wanted a replacement which doesn't have "a high risk of catching fire"!!, But in the last 3 months the product has more than doubled in price, so for me to return the product and then go and purchase a new one, it's costing me over £50 out of my own pocket for something that is my fault.

Talking to Amazon they would just refund, no replacement, they pointed me towards Ring Automotive, I called them and had to left a message with the customer services department because surprisingly nobody was available, 24 hours later I still had this jump starter pack in my back garden and no phone call from Ring Automotive, so I called again.

I got through to the person who apparently is handling this recall, basically his attitude stinks, he said that because I wasn't a customer of Ring Automotive they wouldn't deal with me, if I bought through them (their website) they would have offered a replacement but because I bought through Amazon I'm not a customer of theirs, even though the product says Ring all over it... I explained that I had his poorly manufactured charging pack lying in my back garden which according to a government department poses a serious fire risk, he offered to send me some sort of fire protection bag to dispose of the unit in, but with no offer of even a refund. Basically unless you buy directly from them, they don't care, they don't seem to care that they are the manufacturer which has produced a dangerous product.

I'm disgusted with Ring Automotives attitude, they have created a faulty and potentially very dangerous product which could - if it started a fire could cause the loss of property and unchecked potential the loss of life.

Their attitude on the phone is they don't really care, there was no apology or understanding that I am the customer dealing with the problem created solely by them, all they wanted to do was get rid of me and not help replace their shoddy product.

I have been using Ring Automotive products for over 30 years, obviously I won't be going forward. Don't buy Ring Automotive products, they can potentially destroy your property and your life.

Returned an order which DPD advised me they received 5 days ago. No acknowledgment of the return so I contacted them just to get excuses as to how busy they are and that ‘every business in the UK has a 14 day refund policy in place’. They state on their website ‘30 Day No Quibble Returns’ yet they clearly don’t like you returning items and drag their heels. Bart is ‘dealing’ with my emails and is particularly rude and arrogant.

Purchased a defective tyre inflator , 5 months old false readings
trying to resolve problem is impossible no web form
or resolution from customer service rubbish service for an international company.

Dit is een erg fijn bedrijf. Een tijdje terug had ik problemen met onze 7 jaar oude luchtcompressor. Hiermee kan je via de sigarettenhouder van de auto o.a. een voetbal of volleybal opladen. De naald was afgebroken. Nadat ik dit bij hen had aangegeven kreeg ik kosteloos vanuit Engeland het desbetreffende onderdeel toegestuurd. Top service!
