Excellent service from Jamie at Edinburgh store. He answered all our questions on buying tv and a turntable. Showed the difference with different models and explained everything and was very patient with our frequent questions. Highly recommend Richer Sounds for in store service, advice and price.

I found making a telephone purchase of my lovely new turntable from a very agreeable experience. The gentleman I spoke to was very respectful and extremely informative. To receive delivery the next day was impressive, prompting me to contact you for a further purchase. Again, my request was met with patience, respect and helpful information and advice.
As an elderly lady rediscovering her 1970s vinyls, I feel I have discovered my “go-to” source for future purchases and advice. Sincere thanks.

Shop opening for us at around 1000, despite that being 2 hours before scheduled opening. Friendly and expert product knowledge and efforts to ensure we got a good deal.

I was let down at the very last minute. I tried various shops but they couldn't help. I needed a tv very quick for my brother in laws 50th birthday. He is downsyndrome and can self harm when upset or anxious. It had to be a 50 inch 4k etc, etc. I explained my situation to James and he was very helpful with the tv and making sure all went well. My brother in law is delighted with his Hisense U7Q mini led tv. Thank you sooooo much to James and Richer Sounds. I will definitely be returning and recommending you to family and friends. Very helpful friendly and experienced staff who were able to explain the difference between TV'S . No long queues in the Edinburgh shop and they were able to arrange a quick delivery of a new TV through a third party . All phone calls to Richard Sounds are direct to their shop it's wonderful ,very good customer service is my experience Highly recommend this shop .

I submitted an email enquiry as I was unsure what my new system for playing vinyl required. A member of staff from Edinburgh branch phoned me and discussed what equipment I was using and what I needed to make things work smoothly. I was really pleased and impressed.

I bought a record deck, amp and floorstanders. Terrific attention to what I needed. My husband is delighted and has been spending quality time with his music once again. Our teenage daughter might even be more excited. It has been lovely seeing them enjoy time together with it. There was some disturbance to my packaging just before Christmas and they changed it fully understanding that there might be a risk of disappointment if we did a wait and see. Most times it wouldn’t have been an issue but the shop understood this was different. As it was we spent a lovely Christmas evening listening to favourite music. It’s the dream.

We had full explanations of the equipment and excellent advice. We never felt talked down to because of our age - our interaction with Bowie was friendly and enjoyable. His selection of music to listen to was spot on! The service we've received gives us full confidence that any problems or queries will be dealt with promptly.

I have been researching purchasing a TV and sound system for some months. I had been into various retailers for advice and a general look around. Also visited online but I prefer actually speaking with someone. I had been into Edinburgh store twice before I made up my mind to buy. What I like about the shop is that there is no pressure to buy just good old fashioned advice. I am also looking for a music system and after some advice I'll be back shortly to buy a Ruark player.
