Very helpful member of staff really helped. I was unfortunately in a hurry, knew the guitar I wanted and he sorted out the sale in a way that was fast but still felt like I was buying something fun- which of course all instrument purchases are. I live overseas but whenever I am in Edinburgh I visit Red Dog to stock up. Great place.

I ordered a pair of Iso Acoustics L8R130 Isolation Speaker Stands having done some research and confirmed with Red Dog Music they are suitable for my needs. They arrived to schedule the following day and now support my ProAc Tablettes with no discernible reduction in sound quality when compared to the Mission stands I previously used. The speakers are less obtrusive but still sound great. Thus one happy listener plus domestic harmony!

I am very pleased that I chose Red Dog Music to supply my new Roland GP609 digital grand piano.
Their service was first class from start to finish, I would highly recommend them to any prospective customer.

For a start, I’m from England but live in Spain, so I don’t get the opportunity to go to many music shops so this was exciting for me. The shop is great, it had loads of synths, etc., all set up to try out and I spent a while in there jamming with a series of synced Korg Volcas.

I had loads of questions and as soon as I asked a guy who worked there about some settings I had issues with in Ableton Live he went out of his way, took me into an office, turned his computer on with Live set up and went through the settings with me.

I was really pleased with the experience and would definitely recommended this shop.

I bought myself a Volca Kick in there which I would also recommend. Obviously it only makes (analogue) kick (and bass sounds if you tweek it a bit), but does it really well.

Just wanted to say thank you to David J & Red Dog Music Edinburgh, for the great service, for resolving the issues with the Focal Twins 6BE that were purchased from the Leeds store and replacing them with the Adam A77X.

All seems to be going well with the Adams A77Xs so fingers crossed with this pair of monitors so far enjoying them but out of the box they were a little rough around the edges, they did wear in nicely and sound great now :). Good value monitors but the Focals did have the edge but only slightly, but for value the Adams win, for that edge the Focals but of course at the extra cost and sadly seems to be some quality issues and the 2 year warranty on the Focals is disappointing at the price range they are in. The Adams 5 years warranty so peace of mind with these if they go faulty in the future.

We visited Red Dog’s London shop looking for a keyboard for my son. Not really knowing what to look for or what features were important I asked for help. They couldn’t have been more helpful. Very patiently outlining various features and explaining why they might be important. They didn’t just push us towards the most expensive kit either. They guy gave us his card and sent a quote for a few other bits by email the same day. He also answered many more questions I had by email.
We placed the order and delivery was arranged for a specific day as requested.
Fantastic service. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Bought a Korg Kross 88 Stage Piano from these guys and the sales rep Andrew was absolutely fantastic in every way.

Having got all excited at the imminent release I was gutted to here we wouldn’t get this beast in the UK for a number of months. I had bought a Drumbrute earlier in the year and Red Dog sent a personal email out saying I could reserve a moog and secure one as soon as they arrive. I put down a deposit and the people at Red Dog kept me informed throughout the wait with when they were expected, conforming I was top of the list for delievery and even asking if I wanted it posting to me, which I did and the service was fast and on time. The purchase was online and worked perfectly so all in all a great purchase experience and great comms from Red Dog!!
