Issues with failing to give proper information on purchase
We bought a new mattress and mattress platform from your store in Binghamton. After delivery of the mattress we were told, that we needed a connecting piece as the mattress platform does not connect to our headboard. By the way, our bedroom furniture is high quality MCGUIRE furniture, the headboard being part of it.
So we bought the connecting piece from your Binghamton store and finally were enlightened by the store manager, that Raymour & Flanigan does not do installation to headboards not purchased from your company/older models.
During the purchase procedure we were dealing with four! different departments: a sales person, the delivery crew, customer service, sale of the connecting piece. None! of the people involved told us, that we are left alone to take care of the installation. If we would have known that, we would not have bought this kind of mattress platform!
I assume, that none of your employees knew that in cases like ours installation was left to the customer. My conclusion therefor is, that your employees might not be trained adequately about your unreasonable store policies. Raymore & Flanigan is recognized as a multistate, high end quality furniture seller. Certainly one expects a store like this provides proper installation of the very merchandise you sell.
I am also very disappointed, that we have not heard back from your store manager on how he thinks to resolve this issue.
