I took out insurance with these guys…

I took out insurance with these guys under good faith. I answered all the questions i was asked to my best knowledge. I than receive a letter about a week later asking me to fork out an additional £800+ pounds because they said i had not disclosed two incidents (one my fault and the other not my fault). They made out as if i was lying and trying to make a fraudulent application. After reviewing the phone conversation, it turned out to be a complete lie. I did disclose the correct information, which i was asked. Avoid this company like the plague. These are one of those companies that are trying to make money any which way possible, instead of actually being professional and providing a professional service.

We are very proud of the service provided here at Radius Insurance Solutions and our advisers follow a very thorough and compliant process – completing all aspects of your new policy arrangements. In line with all policies it is vital that clients provide a fair representation of the risk details. Upon investigation it was highlighted that there was an anomaly with your claims history and further investigation highlighted that the correct information was not disclosed by yourself, which unfortunately resulted in an additional premium from your insurer. It is important to clarify the figure mentioned is not due to our charge as a broker, the additional premium was calculated directly by your insurer for the correction in your claims history, which we have no control over. I genuinely hope this reassures you of our service but please do not hesitate to contact our office either by calling 0113 259 6689 or indeed emailing us at insservice.leeds@radius.com and we will be more than happy to answer any further questions or concerns that you have and indeed provide a copy of the call recordings.

Absolutely awful company to deal with I…

Absolutely awful company to deal with I found them to be very incompetent and a really couldn’t care less attitude towards there customers, I would advise anyone to steer clear of this company.
24/1/23 update I’ve just seen your reply on trust pilot. How can you ( radius) say you have addressed my complaint when you have done absolutely nothing about it. You have not addressed anything !

Absolutely pathetic service

Absolutely pathetic service. I have been insuring my business for the last 5 0r 6 years with Keystone, now they call themselves Radius and the service went with the name change.
I had just paid my annual premium when the phoned saying the building insurance was done incorrectly by them and i now have to pay more.
This after a 16% increase in my premium. No wonder businesses are going under in this country. Insurance is becoming a major stumbling block and then they make mistakes and I have to pay.

Beware: Terrible Experience with Radius Insurance

I cannot stress enough how terrible my experience with Radius Insurance has been. I wish I had read reviews before deciding to go with them.

I purchased an insurance policy from Radius Insurance, hoping for a smooth and hassle-free experience. Instead, I've been met with a series of disappointments, frustration, and sheer incompetence. One month through my coverage period, I received an email out of the blue, stating that my insurance had been canceled. Keep in mind that I had already paid for an entire year upfront. How can an insurance company cancel a policy I've fully paid for without a valid reason?

When I called their customer service, the runaround began. They claimed my policy was canceled due to missing documents. Documents that I had sent immediately after purchasing the policy. Their inability to keep track of important paperwork is astonishing.

But the ordeal didn't end there. Their representative, Faye Herald, who was supposed to assist me, conveniently went on annual leave without resolving my issue or communicating it to the insurance company. This resulted in further delays and frustration on my end.

Trying to get in touch with their customer service is a nightmare in itself. Calls go unanswered, and it's nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone who can provide actual assistance. I've had to take time off work and deal with continuous lies and excuses from their end.

I strongly advise anyone considering insurance to avoid Radius Insurance at all costs. Their lack of professionalism, communication, and customer care is beyond unacceptable. This entire experience has left me thoroughly disgusted. I will be seeking legal action if my concerns are not addressed promptly.

In conclusion, stay far away from Radius Insurance. Your time, money, and peace of mind are better invested elsewhere.

Following a review of your file I can see that we have thoroughly investigated your complaint and provided a final response letter on 2nd October 2023. We have acknowledged your concerns and within our response detailed the reasons for this and the action we have taken to ensure there is no future repeat. It is important to also stress that whilst this was as a result of a human error, once identified we undertook our role as a broker and represented this to the insurer, which ensured they were aware that you had produced the validation documents and the ultimately the continuation of the cover.

Disgusting paid £220 deposit had to cancel after 11 days phoned them expecting some deposit back no I owe them £150 extra for cancellation hahahaha how the bloody hell do you work that out when I’m in the 14 days cooling off period so you had £370 in 11 days jokes don’t use very unprofessional

Dear Mr West, we are sorry to receive details of your review as we pride ourselves on the service we provide to all our valued clients. It is important to clarify that the figures mentioned are not all solely Radius Insurance’s charges. As a broker we charge a standard cancellation fee of £150.00 for the administering of the cancellation on the policy. The Insurance Company will also charge the time on risk of the policy, which will cover you for if any accidents had occurred during this time and in addition to this they will charge a cancellation fee. This information was explained over the phone before inception of the policy and is also included in our Terms of Business on our website. I understand our Customer Service Manager has investigated your file and sent over the compliance phone call, which confirms all cancellations charges were fully disclosed prior to you taking out the policy. Non existent customer service

I have used Radius previously known as milestone for a few years.
When it came to my renewal this year i tried calling them on junerous occasions for a qoute. I got emails from them woth qoutes and to say get in touch but absolutely no luck in getting through to anyone the call just rings out everytime. I've asked them on multiple occasions via there website and email to obtain my no claims honis certificate and forward this on to me as i have had to take my custom elsewhere and again I'm a month on from originally requesting this and still do not have this!! I would not recommend these to anyone ever again!

Unfortunately from reviewing your file it does appear that we left several voicemails to discuss your renewal. In regards to your no claims bonus, we can only request this from your insurance company once the policy has lapsed. This was requested the next day and then issued just over a week after the actual lapse of your policy, which is very standard practice when using an insurance broker. I am naturally sorry to hear we were unable to obtain your business on this occasion, however if you would like to discuss this matter any further, please contact our office on 0113 258 2219.
