Buyer Beware - don't believe what they tell you verbally about their return/exchange policy - read it carefully on the receipt before leaving the store! I bought a pair of Birkenstocks, which I had never purchased before, on June 21, 2024 from Quarks Shoes in Lawson Heights Mall in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. My daughter has worn Birkenstocks for years and loves them, so I decided to try them. I was unsure about purchasing them because they did not feel very comfortable in the store. I was assured that they would feel uncomfortable at first, but that they just needed to mold to my feet and they would feel more comfortable. I was told by two separate sales people to wear them around the house for a few days, and if they weren't more comfortable after that, I could return them as long as it was within 15 days. I wore them, in the house only, for a few hours over 3 days (about 4 hours total) but they only became more uncomfortable. I tried to return them 11 days after purchasing them. I don't live in Saskatoon so I don't go there often, and actually made a special trip there just to return them within the 15 day window. They refused to accept the return because they had been worn. My fault for not reading the receipt saying they must be unworn, but shame on them for verbally lying about the return policy.

Great staff and selection of foot wear! I absolutely recommend them!

Before to order it is a must to read the reviews .This is a lesson which I learned after my experience with Quarks Shoes.I pray and I hope I will get my money back for returned order.

I see shoes in stock, so I order them, then i get email days later of cancellation, but they have all my credit card info now. I believe this is a scam.
This has happened 4 times now, and now one of the credit cards I used was frozen, as someone was trying to use it.

Their inventory doesn't match shoes available at time of online purchase. I am still waiting for refund of bought shoes that were available, but the order was cancelled two days later because they said they were no longer in stock.

It takes them two days to confirm inventory, and perhaps i won't get my money back.

My emails were ignored. This company is decrepit.

Purchased two pairs of shoes on Dec 27th. Called on January 9th as their SHOP app indicated one pair had been delivered (it wasn't). Called the customer service number to find out that one pair of shoes had been cancelled and the other pair had YET to be shipped. Now the waiting game to see if I get my money back on my credit card. Last Quarks purchase for me.

Bought a item on their website on boxing day sales. It was a great deal. On January 4 I received a email saying it was out of stock.

I went to the trouble of making an account on their website and asking a friend for his credit card information as I dont have one. I physicaly gave my friend the money.

Now not only do I not have the item, but I missed out on all the boxing day sales where I would have brought it elsewhere. I am going to have to ask my friend to check his credit card statement and return me the money.

Please learn to keep your inventory up to date quarksshoes, your mistake affect your customers.

So I bought a pair of boots there. They made me order un UK size. They get here and are the wrong size. Not because I ordered the wrong size, their actual website was wrong. Size 9 us women is 7 uk. Not 6. Thanks alot. I'll just tie my money up now and go through a bunch to send these back. Ill also search for different ones. I called and she asked what i wanted to do and completely missed the point of the call. I'm trying to understand what just happened, I don't want anything.

I placed 3 orders and after a month cancelled my order without providing me with an explanation.no price match guarantee . Worst customer service It was a birthday gift never arrived .

Refused price protection, their policy is written so they'll never honor it.

Shoes arrived damaged provided images, but had to pay return shipping for their misrepresentation of a damaged or previously returned shoe.

Not worth it even at a seemingly good price.

So I ordered and paid for a pair of shoes. Canada Post has no tracking for them other than preparing a label. The shoes never arrived. Clearly they were most likely never delivered to Canada Post, or were lost somewhere. I asked for a refund after waiting a month. They wouldn't refund me but promised to do so within a few days after checking with Canada Post. I called back after 8 days and same story. Why should I have to wait for Canada Post to do a search? They have my $95 - i have no shoes, and clearly they are not coming. They won't refund me.
Why is this my problem?
Don't deal with this company.

I ordered a pair of shoes which were on sale for half price, great deal, right? The next day I got 2 emails saying my order had been canceled. 2nd email explained that the item was out of stock, said if I had any questions I should reply to their email. Since the online store was still showing 2 pairs in stock in size 7, I did reply to the email, asking why my order had been canceled.
No response.
No more orders from me.

Excellent service from these two individuals Fiona and Chase they made my shopping so pleasant and easy.
Fiona is very knowledgeable ,helpful and friendly.
For Chase i believe he’s a new to the company but very polite,friendly and helpful.
Will definitely be back again:)

Sent me the wrong shoes and have horrible customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Ordered two hats ! Item shipped out pretty quick! There was an issue with one of my order but quarks shoes was quick to resolve it providing different resolutions . Would purchase from them again .

I ordered a pair of shoes, they arrived and one was clearly used as a display model and was dirty and did not really match the other shoe. I called customer service, spoke to a manager who tried to locate another replacement pair. Unfortunately, there was not one available in that color, but offered as a replacement a different color same style, that was a higher price (not on sale), for the sale price. I agreed and the order was placed and shipped same day.

The two pairs of Rieker shoes I ordered were sent to me as the wrong size. Beware, the shipping and return costs are on you. Money wasted, never ordering from their shop again.

Horrible company and terrible customer service. I spoke with a manager about my Royal Canadian boots, which are very poorly made, and he would not send me a new pair of boots which were falling apart with less than a year of being worn.

He then hung up on me. Buyer beware.
