Love our worktops, really competitive price much cheaper than Wren and Wickes. They were really patient with us because we paid our deposit and didn’t gave it templated until roughly 8 months later. Fitting went smoothly and it looks amazing would highly recommend. Also thank you to Judith in the Worcester shop she’s fabulous.

The first initial meeting was a pleasant experience however that was the only positive, as the rest of the customer service we received was very poor. Information about our order was not passed on correctly which we were told was partly our fault as we should have checked and chased. They threatened to cancel the job because they forgot to take payment. They forgot to send the chopping, they then sent the wrong chopping board. They said they will only rectify this mistake when another customer orders the same material, to date we have not heard from them and I don't ever see this materialising. We would not recommend this company.

Fantastic service from start to finish! Rich, the templater, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and made the whole templating process smooth. The fitters, Huw and his colleague, did an incredible job - the workmanship is brilliant, and our quartz worktops look stunning. They took the time to explain the aftercare and the whole process thoroughly which we really appreciated. The office team were also great, we had to change a few things and they were always happy to help! I honestly can’t fault anything and would highly recommend Purple Granite to our friends and family.

Fantastic until it came to fitting the sink. No one told me that the plumbing needed to be removed or the existing structure around the sink needed to be altered to accommodate the new one prior to the fitters arrival. Luckily my friend in the village was able to deal with these now urgent issues. Communication is wonderful when it works. The worktops look really good. Fitters worked very hard and efficiently.

would love to have given 5 stars but cant for a few reasons..

picking out the top and dealing with the initial phase went well. it all started going wrong as we approached the delivery phase.

the team at PG decided they could install a day early which then meant i was being chased for payment sooner than anticipated. The guys who turned up for the install were great but the splash back for the wall behind the cooker wasn't as planned during the stencil phase. This mean't the job wasn't completed as planned and another visit had to happen. Also turned out that the rather large splash back wasn't securely glued to the wall in the first place.

when they did arrive the install team refused to bring out from the van the replacement splashback unless i paid the balance. this i consider unreasonable as the contract and service wasn't performed right the first time. in the end i had to negotiate with a rather cocky installer that i would do half up front and half when they had it out the van and installed it.

they installed it and we accepted it however we then found that the backstands supplied hadn't been bevel finished either ... these are sharp enough to slice a tomato if you wanted to.

paid a lot of money .. splash back should have been right first time and certainly don't appreciate being held ransom for payment on a contract that wasn't fulfilled in first place as quote/planned.

In planning the purchase of a new kitchen, I did what most people would do and that is to approach different kitchen providers. In my case it was Wren, Homebase and Howdens. It was interesting to see that the Quartz worktop prices were very high and variable with each of the kitchen providers. I therefore embarked on attempting to receive quotes from four of the leading online Quartz worktop providers. They all claim to be the best as you would expect. However, the price for this particular Quarts Worktop by a manufacturer called Silestone was surprisingly much cheaper than the kitchen providers by at least 25%. I chose purple simply because they were the cheapest quote and provided rapid responses to my questions and quotes. I found Laura to be particularly helpful but my dealings with every other person that I spoke with telephonically was equally good. Having paid the deposit, I was provided with a date for the template fitting and was kept in regular communication via email about the appointment. Chris the templater arrived on time and described exactly what he was going to do. I had an area on the worktop which required a slight curve to enable a larder door to open without touching the worktop overhang and he managed to design this for me without any problems. As soon as Chris had departed, I received an email informing me the worktop was being fabricated and an installation date was provided. I was surprised to find that the installation date was only five days after the templating had been completed. The fitting process was performed by Luke professionally and with great care. Where small adjustments were required, such as increasing the size of a tap hole, these were undertaken prior to departure. A great amount of time was spent in aligning the joints and Luke was particularly keen to ensure that the colour of the joint adhesive was matching the worktop. At the end of the installation, information was provided as to how best to look after the quartz worktop and the entire kitchen was cleaned up prior to departure. There was a slight error with the cut out in the bathroom sink which Luke had made a note of an informed me that I would receive a call from purple the following day. When I spoke with John the fabrications manager, he informed me that he had noticed this particular error and that he would be replacing that worktop for me in due course. I chose purple purely because I found them to be the cheapest as I had a very limited budget. However, I was not expecting the level of service and professionalism that I have received during my entire purchase experience with purple. For anyone who is considering purchasing a Quartz worktop, I would urge you not to buy this from any kitchen supplier and would wholeheartedly without reservation suggest that you contact purple as your first port of call.

Review of the job. The whole process was fantastic and smoothly implemented. From the start the welcome sales team were very knowledgeable and amenable. She made it easy for us to choose. The template team were very polite and professional and the fitters Terry were excellent, very friendly and very efficient. We were very pleased with finished result. We had our worktops fitted a few months ago by purple granite and wow! They are absolutely amazing, the team was so helpful in helping us choose. We even took a cupboard door to put next to the large showroom samples. Nothing seemed like too much trouble even when we raised a concern over an end panel the team were happy to send someone to correct this with no questions asked at all! We have been so impressed we have referred to both our neighbours who have now also used purple and both are so happy with theirs too! We couldn’t be happier thanks purple 💜

Not only did this company offer us a competitive price as compared with a number of other companies we tried but they also offered an excellent service templating our new work surface & installing it. It's the icing on the cake in our newly fitted kitchen and looks great.
