Excellent smooth process from requesting some information to placing order to receiving goods.
Communication as to order progress and status was also very good.
Packaging was very good and delivery by courier was within the time slot advised.
Very pleasant experience from start to finish will be happy to recommend Punch on my experience and will certainly be looking to use them again in the future.

Hopefully, mine is a rare occurance and other will not have the same issues.

I ordered my PC from Punch Technology on 4th January 2024. The online order tracker advised I was 72nd in the queue. It still says this today (8th Feb). There should also have been an email to state it had gone into build. This was not received.

The PC shipped on 18th Jan. but unfortunately the courier (DPD) promptly lost it.

A replacement was finally sent on 31st Jan and was delivered on 1st Feb. It was missing the additional case fan I had ordered and the motherboard did not have the DVI-D connector listed in the motherboard specification I had selected (I opted for onboard graphics).

I was advised to purchase an adapter lead to make the PC work and the missing fan would be shipped out to me with install instructions.

In response I rejected the PC as not matching the spec I had ordered at which point I was offered a converter lead, which I accepted.

The lead and fan were delivered on 7th Feb, there were no fixings for the fan and no installation instructions.

Internally the Contender case is very busy. It looks like I will need to take the front cover off to install 3.5” hard discs and a 5.25” Lightscribe drive as the CPU cooling fan obstructs access from inside the case. Otherwise the components used are all good quality and cables have been tidied within the case.

Suggestions:
1. Order status should be updated and automated emails should be sent.

2. If there is a change to the specification of a component, the customer should be informed (I might have opted for the more expensive motherboard option).

3. When a customer advises missing or incorrect parts. Check, then offer solutions which are not at the customers expense.

4. DPD (when they don’t lose the parcel) advise a two hour time slot for delivery and both times were well within it.

The promised keyboard and mouse have been received - Thank you.
The USB issue seems to be just the bottom one, sometimes it 'loses' whatever is plugged in, other times it works fine. The top USB slot appears to work correctly though, so I can just use that.

Had my PC repaired under warranty and the service we received was 5 star service .The phone was always answered any emails i sent were always replied cant fault punch i couldn't ask for any more thank you for a great service

Being an amateur photographer looking for a desktop to replace my old laptop for photo editing, I was attracted by the 'Entry Plus Photography PC' by Punch Technology and their good online reviews.
Having reviewed the spec and prior to placing an order, I contacted Punch and spoke to Oliver, who provided me with all the answers to my questions regarding spec and delivery etc.
I placed my order on 5th January 2024, which was probably a very busy period for the company, nonetheless the unit was delivered within the stated 7-10 working day period.
Unfortunately, there was a problem with the unit, the operating system (Windows 11), would not boot-up. I contacted Punch immediately and after some email exchanges I was asked to try re-install the operating system and was provided with an excellent instructional video. This did not resolve the issue and I contact the company, they immediately arranged for their courier to uplift the unit and excluding the time the unit was in transit, it took them only one day to resolve the issue and return it to me.
At no time, did I lose confidence in Punch and through my own research, I acknowledged the issue was related to the operating system and not the PC itself.
Dealing with their own excellent UK based experts and customer service staff as opposed to remotely based call handling operatives in another country, gave me the confidence and reassurance in the company and was super impressed with their customer service and support, especially that of Oliver, who was brilliant and kept me fully informed of the process from start to finish. Thank you Oliver.
I'm now using the PC and I'm delighted.
In summary, would I recommend Punch Technology? Most definitely.

Great communication and custom built pc arrived on time as stated would definitely recommend.

After my outdated iMac was no longer supported by Apple and was on its last legs I looked to replace it with a PC. My main use is photo editing so I looked to the custom market. Looking at the reviews Punch looked good with a good price for the spec. I went with the Value Plus Photography PC and was not disappointed. Build quality was superb and is so silent when running. Ordering online was easy, emails were answered within a couple of days and when I contacted them by phone it was answered straight away by someone who could answer my questions and no passed around. I did feel a valued customer.

I know what your thinking why 4 stars and not 5? The order tracking doesn't update. I placed my order and it said awaiting build and number 95 in the queue and it stayed at this until the PC was delivered. As a result I had to contact Punch and couple of times to find out where my order was as it was a little overdue due to a component being out of stock. If order tracking reflected this I would give 5 stars.

Would I use Punch again, Yes. Would I recommend them, Yes. Just don't believe your order status.

Good clear website. Helpful telephone advice given when fine tuning. Delivered when promised. Everything works. Would recommend.

While I had an idea of what I wanted in a computer, the choice of systems available made it easier to chose. It was easy to edit the specification to what I wanted to add/change. Good build quality and delivery considering it was Christmas was excellent. Company was recommended to me and glad I took the plunge.

The packaging was great but the ram was in the wrong slot but so far it's been great
For my first pc

After a catastrophic crash I needed to replace my computer. After reviewing various suppliers I settled upon Punch Technologies. The main reasons I selected them was because they provided readymade solutions (in my case photo editing) which were high spec compared to competitors, were keenly priced, and I was able to adjust the specification to my preference. Delivery was as advertised and upon arrival I could see that it was a really quality build and it has performed as expected. Highly recommend and would use again.

Cannot fault, Everyone I spoke to and dealt with were very friendly and helpful. I was able to identify and rectify a problem with their support.

Pleasently suprised by built quality and price. Could do with updating build status one day sitting at 42 in que the next day out for delivery apart from this I will buy again from Punch.

Have had the PC operating for more than a week and am well satisfied. On-line ordering to delivery took twelve working days - not bad for an order made on Black Friday with the additional Xmas demand for what was essentially a custom-built built unit. The graphics card was upgraded without incurring extra charges as the original spec was out of stock. The one slight gripe was the on-line progress checker had the order as "awaiting assembly pending parts" right up to the point the courier was outside my door. Highly recommended.

I went for an "Entry Plus Video Editing Computer". After consultation with Sion (very helpful), I had the build tweaked slightly to include an SD card reader, which necessitated a different case. Also went for a better graphics card.

Nice build, with no bloatware. I've been using with Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements and have been impressed with the speed. It'll take me some time to make full use of the capabilities of this machine. Very happy so far.
