The staff were brilliant
The staff were brilliant, We had a problem Friday morning they got it sorted for us and we were away within 30 minutes couldn't ask for more thanks very much would definitely recommend Protyre for fitting us in at such short notice.

I was expecting to buy a new tyre but the mechanics

I booked a free car battery test
I booked a free car battery test, which was carried out, and the result clearly stated on the ticket that the battery needed to be replaced.
Afterwards, I asked the person at the reception desk how much a replacement battery would cost. His response was: “I’m very busy with this paperwork and I don’t have time. Come back another day.”
Wrong. That is not how customers should be treated.
If a free service is offered to customers, there should at least be enough time to provide basic information about the issue identified during the test. If there is no time for that because the service itself does not generate any immediate income, perhaps it should not be offered in the first place.
I may still need to replace the battery, but it certainly won’t be at Protyre. I found this employee’s attitude extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

Left my car idling outside for 10…
Left my car idling outside for 10 minutes before taking it in to align the front wheels, at the same time they were going through the metal skip looking for another customers locking nut they accidentally binned, whilst the 75 year old gent who had arrived prior to was waiting on another customer driving back as they had left his car key in another customers car, and she had collected her car and was driving home. Amusing but gives you an indication of customer care and service.

Great support in a difficult situation
My tyre warning light came on whilst travelling from Nowich to Stansted
Airport. The Ford garage were really helpful and directed me to Protyre. They found a nail and mended the tyre so I could carry on to Stansted. Reasonable price. They were very busy so it was great that they fitted me in between all the prebooked services and MOTs they were dealing with. Strongly recommend (apart from the wc!)
