I just drove in and Jayme Loftus said if I was prepared to wait he would look at it even though I could see he was busy
He sorted the problem quickly and had me back on the road feeling safe

The Staff were excellent went in at 11am they ordered the two new tyres I needed and said to come back at 2pm which I did, I expected to wait but no they fitted me in straight away.

Fabulous experience again at Protyre Bredbury, my go-to tyre shop. Having discovered a massive screw thing in my tyre this morning, my day started badly but I was totally lifted when Jayme confirmed he would be able to repair. He advised of a possible wait of around 1 hour as the shop was super-busy, but when I explained I’d be happy to come back he suggested after 4, when I was seen immediately and drive away in about 20 minutes. Wonderful service from all involved, a much more pleasant experience than it might have been.

Great service from Jayme and his team earlier today. I sustained a slow puncture and just called in on my way home to ask if they could check it out. Due to not having a spare I had to drive on a heavily deflated tyre which caused a lot more damage than the original puncture. They gave me a full range of options without any hard sell or pressure to purchase performance tyres. Most importantly they got me up and running again in less than 30mins from arrival. I must also mention how helpful and pleasant the young lady in the reception area was. I'll certainly return if I have any further motoring issues.

I was recently looked after by Jayme Loftus at Protyre Bredbury (formerly Selecta Tyre), and I couldn’t be more impressed. I’d broken down en route to visit my mum in hospital, so I arrived stressed and short on time — but Jayme was an absolute credit to the business. He got stuck in immediately, no fuss, just quietly professional and clearly experienced. A real breath of fresh air.

The workshop itself was clean, well-organised, and clearly well-run — which speaks volumes. The whole team were polite, helpful, and prompt. It’s rare to come across a garage where the staff are this switched on and customer-focused. Prices were fair and transparent too, which is always appreciated.

Other tyre fitters could certainly learn a thing or two from this team. I’d have no hesitation travelling back here again in future if needed. Highly recommended.

Protyre Bredbury, my Go To branch for tyres etc. On My1st visit - not TOO many places where you can get a pre-MOT tyre check and be told they have enough tread on them to def be legal. So not chasing a quick buck then.
On my 2nd and recent visit I had an air-con regas and tyre rim repair where the air was slowly leaking out. All work carried out efficiently,speedily, with clear explanation and a friendly manner. No need to spend time ‘shopping around’ anymore! Great job,much appreciated.

I have used Protyre in Bredbury many times and they are amazing. Their customer service is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Past experiences of some garages aren’t always positive especially as a female client. Protyre are exceptional when it comes to treating customers with respect and not patronising women drivers either. I have had tyres fitted, valves replaced and tyre sensors checked and refitted. Each time, the quality of their work has been excellent and they have always endeavoured to fit my car in, often at short notice. I would highly recommend their services. A special shout out and thank you to Jayme at Bredbury Protyre today for sorting my valve out quickly while I waited. I’m very grateful.

Had a puncture repair three months ago. Staff were really helpful and pointed out my brake pads and discs needed sorting. My local car garage confirmed this was correct. A couple of weeks ago I had two new tyres fitted. Easy to order online and staff were ready and waiting when I got there. Again they were really helpful. Would recommend.

It was very easy to book an appointment through the online booking system. When I arrived, my car was checked straight away and rectified within half an hour while waiting

Turned up on the off-chance of getting a tyre replaced there and then, the guys did it straight away and even gave me a discount as I'd had all 4 tyres done there 2 yrs ago.
