Booked online for a 2pm waiting app: 2 x front tyres. ( very good price) received a call at 8am day of job to ask if I could move it to 2.45pm so they can organise their day better. So agreed. Fine by me. Arrived at 2.28pm said they would be 1 hr. So left it with them. Came back at 3.18pm car hadn't moved? Asked if there was an issue, told they were very busy. Finally left there at 3.54pm. Could have been a little more organised.

Prompt and helpful

Had 4 new tyre pressure monitors fitted as the light had come on dashboard. They don't work. Have been in 4 times as following them being fitted the light keeps coming back on to say the need looking at.
They can't find anything wrong & told me I need to go to Ford's to have them coded. Now had a refund. Although this is annoying & an inconvenience the staff could not off been anymore helpful.

Had an appointment to replace two tyres - Jack behind the desk and Jordan who worked on my car were both lovely, prompt & extremely helpful!
Hot chocolate in the waiting area was a bonus!

I attended Protyre for a puncture repair on 2nd November. The staff were under a bit of pressure as only one tyre fitter was there. For this reason, the repair took longer than normal but despite this the manager on duty kept me informed as to the situation and was extremely helpful as was the tyre fitter. I would certainly use them again.

Fantastic Service!
Black circles messed up and didn’t deliver 2 tyres that I ordered with them. The lad behind the desk was super helpful and got me two better tyres. There was a price difference but I was happy they could fit them on the planned day. The lad fitting them was also very helpful and supportive.
In future I’ll buy through this garage and not a 3rd party

The work was done efficiently and thoroughly, but I deducted 1 star because they were understaffed.

Very pleased with the goods and service provided by Protyre, surprisingly in a way as when I first turned up for my allotted time I was given apologies as the tyres had not arrived due to a road accident on route. However the staff dealt with it superbly arranging to contact me and reschedule as soon as delivery was received, and all was complete later in the day.

Left my car for repairs after they failed my mot. I was told the price is £500. I then got a call to say that when they failed my mot, the part they didn’t look at wasn’t logged, therefore, it’s going to cost an extra £210. We had no option but to agree. We had no means of transport and didn’t have the funds either! Had to get a family member to do th payment agreement on my behalf.
Was told several stories about how long it would take. Had doctors and dentist appointments the following week.
Left it on the Thursday, told it would be ready by Friday. Called Friday, said the wrong part had been delivered from their supplier, they have to reorder, car should be ready Tuesday. I explained that I had a doctor’s and dentist appointment on Wednesday from 8:45.
Called Monday to ask if we could collect the car, was told it’s not ready because the car before mine was still on the ramp and couldn’t be moved because the part that they had removed to replace wasn’t delivered, therefore, our car couldn’t get mot’d.
Meanwhile, I’d spent nearly £90 on Wednesday on taxi’s to my appointments.
Eventually, After ignoring several calls all morning from Jack, he’s collogue answered my call saying Jack has gone home with a toothache and he would check. He called me back saying I can collect my car. I eventually got my car back on the Friday afternoon .
The paperwork given to me was a new MOT certificate, Passed.
I then emailed and asked for an invoice stating what the £710 was charged for and a breakdown of costs.
Haven’t heard from them since.

Staff were polite bu booking for 3pm

Absolute worst customer service. Sickness can’t be helped, but the company rep refused to help out in any way when he phoned at lunchtime on the day the car was due to be repaired (booked in for 8.30) and was already at the garage…. just offered a date 8 days later. Couldn’t be bothered to see if any other branch could fit us in before the 8 days. No empathy, no customer service had not a care.

Put car in for MOT. Was promised it would be complete by end of the day only for the garage to shut and go home locking my car inside the garage.

After this review I received a reply from Protyre promising the area manager would be in contact yet three weeks on no calls or emails.
