My warning light came on during my journey to Liverpool from Chesterfield on Monday morning (24th November)~ to inform me that my tyre pressures on my two front wheels were low.
As I knew I was really close to protyre at New Mills ~ I wasn’t too worried as I thought they’d quickly inflate the tyres for me.
However ~ what a disappointment ~ I went into reception ~ told the chap on reception the problem ~ and was brusquely informed that all his mechanics were busy ~ come back this afternoon. I asked again if he could get it sorted as I was on my way to Liverpool now and couldn’t wait until the afternoon.
No.
Not possible.

I am 73 years old. It was a five minute (if that!) task. SO DISAPPOINTED!!! Honestly ~ what have we come to ~ no knights in shining armour here!

I was upset.
Rang my other half who suggested to find a Halfords.
I did.
They sorted it immediately.
Three minutes.
No charge.

Excellent service, sorted my flat tyre within 20 minutes of my arrival.
