Booked an appointment for half 8 online said please be prompt.
So I turned up early shame they didn’t turn up till 10 to 9
No apologies
Work wise it’s was fine but again waiting around for them to open up was annoying

Good tyres at a good price, competently fitted by staff who give the impression they would rather not having customers hanging around. Looking about me as I waited, they have almost achieved this objective. The customer sits in a scruffy waiting room, the fitter sat in my car with the aircon on for 10 or 15 minutes doing something on his slate.

I was able to get a convenient same day appointment it was £10 cheaper than the others and my aircon is cold again

Called beforehand. Upon arrival the technician knew exactly what was required. Effected a speedy resolution to my problem. Spot on!

The staff were brilliant. My wheels had just been refurbished. They were concerned the paint was not fully dry and suggested I bring them back a few days later. The fitting tome was rearranged with no fuss. Wheels with tyres not look great.

You broke hand brake cable after car had passed mot then charged me 100pound to fix it not happy cable was loose not broken

The car wasn't ready for three hours after the time that was agreed

Very professional and worked things out quickly when I forgot what day I was on and almost missed my appointment. They rearranged it for a little later that day and I'm very grateful for that.

I was booked in to swap my winter tyres and fit 2 x new tyres that I provided. I had dropped my wheels and tyres off the day before and all was agreed. The next day I was told that only one tyre could be fitted because one didn’t have a tyre sticker! I have to say I have never heard of such an issue. The fitter point blank refused to fit the tyre without a label . Both tyres were Goodyear high performance 20” dated 2023. So no issue. I then spoke to the relief manager who said the same even though the actual manager the day before had booked me in and agreed the price for the work. After some further discussion I eventually left with the work done to my satisfaction.
A lesson to be learnt when training staff - make sure they are all on the same company policy.

I’ve used Protyre now twice to repair faulty tire pressure valves on my Ford focus and once to repair a puncture on an older car. Every time they have been very well priced and able to help me out at pretty short notice. Definitely recommend this business.

Apart from having to book in on 3 seperate occasions for 3 different days due to a lack of communication between Protyre and Fixmycar my car was serviced was carried out successfully.

Fab service from these guys as usual. Mot went smoothly
