Wheel Alignment Woes
I had taken advantage of ProTyre's half-price wheel alignment offer to book in three vehicles for four-wheel alignment.
None of the vehicles were four wheel aligned.
Two of the vehicles couldn't had been aligned at all, one owing to corrosion (which cannot be helped..!) and another having a lesser-used suspension setup unfamiliar to the technicians at the garage.
The third vehicle could only be front wheel aligned for the same reason above; technicians unfamiliar with the suspension setup.
On the day of our visit, despite booking in advance (and agreeing with the garage that we wanted four wheel alignments) - we felt rushed as the garage only had two members of staff in, which I understand to be for unexpected sickness - which again, cannot be helped and was unfortunate.
I took a bit of legwork from my end to have a refund issued by the garage, as it seems as if it had been muddled up. Once clarified, I had one returned but I had to chase via ProTyre customer service to get the other (who were excellent may I add!)
This is all a shame as the garage has the proper Hunter Alignment gear but simply not adequate staff to use it.
We took our business to a local garage, who charged double ProTyre's standard rate -- but knew all about the specialised suspension setup on these vehicles (including electronic Air Suspension calibration) and carried out the work without issue. Definitely well worth it in my opinion.

I run a community transport charity and I've used Protyre Syston 3 times in the last couple of months, and every time the notice on the desk says "please bear with us as there are only 2 members of staff working today." Despite this they have been superb every time. Can't praise them enough.

Very helpful and trustworthy service. I took my car to have a new tyre after…
I took my car to have a new tyre after it had had its 2yr service. The advice was tyre was dangerous and needed replacing asap due to damage on the tyre wall. Another tyre wasn’t as dangerous but would need replacing soon for the same reason. A third tyre needed replacing as the tread was very low.
The staff were very helpful, gave me the best possible advice and price. The job was completed straight away.
I now feel my car is safe to drive.

Always good service. Nipped on on my way home from work as I had a screw in my tyre. I'd already put the spare on. They repaired my tyre, put it on, and rebalanced. Polite and friendly service. Highly recommend.

All members of staff were very helpful
All members of staff were very helpful, professional and friendly.
The service was excellent, the car was booked in and was looked at shortly after arrival.
Problem was a puncture which was diagnosed very quickly, the staff member showed me the tyre and location of the nail, too near the sidewall to repair.
Very honest, efficient and prices competitive.

Superb service from a great team
Excellent advice from the team lead and polite and experienced team members. Called on phone, dropped down an hour later. Checked my tyre and sorted the problem by replacing the valve all within 20 mins. Would recommend to anyone.
