can't fault the service i received regarding the fitting of my 2 tyres but having booked on line with a given arrival time to be told it would be approximately a 2 and a half hour wait i think was a little off

The online booking process was very slick enabling me to find the OEM tyres for my vehicle and select the fitting day and time.
I arrived 15 minutes early for my 10.30 appointment to be informed that the fitter was running 30 minutes late. I asked how long the job would take and was informed 30-45 minutes as it was only two tyres to be fitted and balanced.
No problem I could keep myself occupied in the waiting area for an hour or so.
After nearly two hours waiting I asked how long it was going to be, another 15 minutes I was told and sure enough after two and a quarter hours my vehicle was ready.
I inspected the tyres with the fitter and was satisfied with the quality of his workmanship. However the time to fit two tyres was woeful with no explanation coming for why the work had taken so long other than “oh we are busy”

Excellent customer service - took newly purchased car in for wheel realignment and the team found few other issues which needed addressing. They were open and honest about time frames but also the importance of getting work done and managed to for the car in the following day which was really helpful

Booked in for two tyres and tracking, should be no problem on an old ford fiesta?
The tyres fitted seem ok, it took an age, booked in for 4:00pm came out at about 5:30 pm, no explanation.
Guy behind the desk said it was was going to be £182.22 but when I showed him some numbers I had worked out the previous night (£162.22) he agreed and that's what I paid. (Said that he had forgotten to apply a code into the system?)
So long waiting time for me (other customers seemed to have similar issues.)
So worst thing for me is they've fitted me good tyres but I'm not conviced they done the tracking OK.
They've clearly done something, as the steering wheel is no longer pointing straight ahead when driving straight ahead.
Will see if Protyre make any response on here before I contact their head office.

Update on 31/05/26:
I was contacted by Protyre and invited to return for the tracking to be checked out.
Car went into workshop and came out shortly afterwards.
They provided a printout of tracking results showing all the technical details in green zones.
Car now drives straight ahead with steering wheel pointing straight ahead.
Tyres fitted Falken SN110 are really good, so quiet.
Manager said they were really busy on my fitting day which was the hottest so far this year, so I'll say Yeah no one's perfect.

At the beginning of the very hot weather I was able to get a booking to have my aircon recharged.
After it had been done they tested it and the car was like a fridge…e cellent

Phoned in the morning to arrange MOT. Offered two slots on that day!! Unheard of in my experience, so was pleased to book.
Easy drop off and easy pickup with car passing. Desk remembered my car from previous tyre change.
Great service. Well done.

First time using Protyre (Cheltenham). Found all staff to be extremely helpful from entering the door to completion of work in a timely manner. Have used other outlets in the past but on this occasion, I found them to be the cheapest along with an online discount code for tracking/wheel alignment. And, the free coffee was a plus.

In an emergency, they got my van in for MOT within hours.
I would definitely use them again.

i found the gentleman very polite and very honest when he noticed a mistake on my bill he very quickly called me back in and refunded the money this was my first visit i will definately go back and thank you again

Received great service... I was trying to find a specific tyre to match others with loads of tread on the car, following unrepairable puncture to one. Protyre had type advertised at a competitive price... Mark located actual tyre in another part of the country & got it brought to Cheltenham. Fitting appointment went well.
