Excellent service, should offer flexibility with component sizing
Customer service was excellent. There were delays to my order and I was personally contacted with updates which was a nice touch. The only thing I found irritating is that Planet X don't offer different crank arm lengths, you just get what you're given. I've had to separately buy a new chainset to make this bike fit correctly, which is annoying.

Immediate Response to a query over the correct bottom bracket to replace on my EC130e
Items dispatched quickly, but when I opened the package, bizarrely the sealed pack of brake blocks only had 1 in it, however this was rectified straight away and a replacement pack sent out

Have been buying from these guys for years.
Not as much choice or as many smaller bargains as there were before but still a great store to shop with and buy from.
Latest purchase was a good buy, both pedals and SPD cleats.
Still my go to cycle store.

Great product at a sensible price
The ordering and ultimate delivery was easy and well managed, however by bike was a month late because of customs issues according to the supplier. Communication regarding this was poor.
The product is excellent and I would highly recommend them.

Great price/value and supportive team
I purchased a Titanium frame.
PRO:
- Great products at great prices.
- A few days after purchase, while waiting for the shipment to arrive, the purchased frame got even more discounted (it was awesome value to start with).
I queried in email whether I can benefit from the lower price knowing I have the rights to send back/re-purchase. Planet-X was super flexible and refunded the price difference without hesitation. Quite amazing!
- The team was very helpful and friendly through the entire process.
CON:
- The product image was not up to date on the website and did not correspond to the actual product (there is a newer version of the purchased frame and the website still displayed the old one) I did my research on forums and knew what to expect - the product was fully matching my expectations, but this may cause problems for others.
Still, five stars for me.

Bootzipper perfection 👌
Wanted the Bootzipper for ages but preferably with a better groupset than the supplied SRAM SX. Then the bike seemed to be out of stock in my size for months and months. Then suddenly it was back in stock but with a full GX group, and on special offer at the same price of the SX equipped bike. Wow, the bike is a fab buy and is great as a bike-packing bike. I love it, it’s not the lightest but it handles really well and it’s built like a tank!
