Delayed delivery and no communication
Unfortunately it is now the 12th week since I placed my order on 11th April 2025 for two wardrobes and I still don’t have any indication as to when I can expect them. The delivery time on the website states they aim to deliver in less than 8 weeks. Over the last week I’ve emailed, left messages and called the office and spoken to people who’ve said the warehouse / delivery team will contact me. Still nothing. Losing faith. I would suggest using another company with better communication capabilities.

Thank you for your feedback, and we're very sorry to hear about your experience.
We completely understand your frustration with the delay and the lack of communication following the initial email we sent to let you know. This isn’t the level of service we aim to provide, and we’re genuinely sorry things haven’t gone as they should.
Your order is still progressing, and we’re looking forward to getting your furniture to you very soon. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

The “write” stuff
My wife is a writer and has her own writer’s shed in our garden.
As a wheelchair user it’s not always easy to find furniture that is both functional and nice to look at. Luckily the Oxford desk’s dimensions could be altered when it was ordered, and she now has a desk that combines aesthetics and practicality - it’s absolutely “write” for her!

Dear Phil,
What a lovely review — thank you for sharing your story with us.
It’s fantastic to hear that the Oxford desk has found its place in your wife’s writer’s shed, and even better that it suits both her practical needs and personal style. Being able to tailor the dimensions is something we’re proud to offer, and we’re so pleased it made all the difference.
We hope it brings her many inspiring hours of writing in her new space and hope to see you soon!

Fine piece of furniture
We bought an 'investment piece' for our sitting room - a large wall cabinet in Ash Green and oak shelves. The staff in the shop were delightful and patient - we went in on a number of occasions to have a look at the cabinet on display! The two chaps who delivered were really careful and helpful and put the cabinet exactly where we wanted it. The piece of furniture is well made and crafted and is a beautiful and practical adornment to our room. We are very pleased indeed.

The Painted Furniture Company offer the very best in quality, design, affordability and customer satisfaction
We have had several pieces of furniture from The Painted Furniture Company and have always been impressed by the quality, paint finish and numerous design choices available. The showroom staff are always friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Our last bedroom furniture was made to fit the spaces we had and that was a big plus when most companies will only sell standard stock. After moving house a couple of years ago we had finally decided that we needed some wider chests of drawers for our new bedroom. The showroom staff matched the paint colour to our headboard and we chose a dark stain for the wooden top. They look perfect. The company also deliver and install the furniture and best of all keep a record of past orders so that you can always add to your collection. Delighted to recommend them.

Dear Ellie,
Thank you so much for such a lovely and detailed review!
It’s always a joy to hear from returning customers, and we’re so pleased you’ve continued to be impressed with the quality, design options, and friendly service. It sounds like your new chests of drawers have settled in beautifully - and we love that the paint colour was matched to your headboard and the dark-stained top gives it that extra touch of character.
Being able to create pieces that fit your space perfectly is something we’re really proud of, and it’s great to hear how helpful that’s been for you over the years. Keeping a record of past orders is just one of the little things we do to help make it easy when you’re ready to add to your collection.
Thanks again for your kind words and your continued support - it really does mean a lot.

The dining table is very nice
The dining table is very nice, strong and soft, easy to use with very nice finishing on it. I enjoy it very much. It would be much better, if they had a showroom closer to London area though.
