The book I ordered was described as a hard back. Instead I was sent a download. Beware of this company.

I am giving one star because I cannot give zero. Deceptive website selling a downloadable book pretending it’s a paper copy. No refunds. Please be careful.

Stay well clear. Its a scam

Paid and received nothing. You have been warned

I didn’t check Trustpilot first which I normally do.
Trying to phone them they say my number is not recognised. From what I read I am onto a hiding to nothing.
One day on- the company has told me that the books were digital downloads.
1 I NEVER buy digital downloads of cookery books.
2 I wouldn’t pay theses prices
3 It is something I rarely do preferring a physical book
I have checked everything there is no way I have missed this detail.
However, I notice that on the invoice it says download. I am fairly sure that this is a scam website and will not be touching anything which says download.

I made an error by ordering a book through Amazon in early July 2025. After not receiving the goods I was refered to Page Turner by Amazon and recieved the folloiwing reply:Dear Customer,
The item reached the Australia Post delivery hub on time. However, they are unable to complete the delivery due to an address-related issue. Additionally, they have mentioned that they are unable to contact the receiver.
We kindly request you to contact Australia Post directly and provide them with your tracking number 00000000' for further assistance.
Thank you for your cooperation.
I have done so and after some days wait am getting the expected run around from Aust Post!
I believe it is the responsibility of the sender to ensure delivery not the receiver, and will have nothing to do with this company again.
Amazon is issueing a refund.

I did not receive my books.

Scammer. Unable to refund after trial period.

Please do not so business with this company it is all a front for scam. I've lost thousands whilst some was repaid in still. 15k plus damages. At the moment there is an investigation which is ongoing. Please contact if you too have been affected. There are no legit publishing deals with this company there is no or do not pay for new York billboard it is a scam. They have no alliance with Macmillan or any other main publisher

Laurence Ursil of Page Turner contacted me and Said he could help me with exposure for my book Golf Fore Ever A Guide for Beginners and have for sake in book stores.
He took $800 and did nothing. He introduced me to James Daunt from Waterstones Booksellers who offered me s book seal and requested $2,000 for book insurance. He never honored the deal nor did he return the $2,000!
Fraud at its worst. Buyer beware with any of these people. They are dishonest and have no compunction about taking your money dishonestly!
Would not recommend doing business with them!
