Getting off hormonal birth control was rough—my jawline broke out for years, and nothing seemed to help. I tried so many skincare products, and everything made my breakouts worse. My naturopath wasn’t super helpful at the time with hormonal imbalances, and then he retired, so I was kind of on my own.

Eventually, I found liver juice + flow balance, and I noticed my breakouts happening way less and really only happened if I ate sugar. I consulted a friend who’s an herbalist about it, and she told me both formulas are basically a kitchen sink of a bunch of herbs—and I should make my own and try them one by one instead because there's probably unnecessary herbs. It would be way more cost effective but I don't have the skillset or time right now. I think eventually seeing an herbalist would be the best route though.

My skin is actually clear now, and liver juice + flow balance was only one piece of the puzzle. This is the routine I follow now:

No sugar
Food before caffeine
Supplements (zinc, vitamin C, and something to lower cortisol)
Liver juice + Flow Balance twice a day
Regular facials to purge my skin** This is what tipped the scales for me

It sounds like a lot, but this is what works for me!
