Just have Uber Easts deliver an order, might as well have had road kill, Saturday takeaway ruined, barely fit for consumption

As a regular customer of Oodles Chinese - Walsall Branch, my customer experience this evening was shocking. I was very disappointed that the food served was extremely DRY to the point I was having to drink at regular intervals in order to swallow it!

I placed an order for: Egg Fried Rice and Vegetable Noodles (as my base), Katsu Chicken Curry (as the saucy option) and Crispy Chicken (as my dry option). Due to the lack of sauce, especially from the Katsu curry, it may aswell have been all a DRY option. Usually the food is slathered in sauce especially the noodles but not tonight!

My advice would be to not place an order at this branch if the lovely Asian woman or the Korean/Chinese Wok Chef are absent, the food will fall short of your expectations and leave alot to be desired not to mention leave you feeling dissatisfied. Not value for money on this occasion.

My first time was Dine in and i really enjoy as i was craving for something very spicy. I enjoyed their singapore rice , spicy chips and malaysian chicken.
However when I ordered at home , it was cold and not as good as it was in restaurant.
Would suggest to always eat hot and in restaurants.

Awful. Avoid.
Over- powering spice that ruined the whole dish.
Cold on arrival.
Small portions.
Meat tasted dodgy and left us both with a dodgy stomach.

Whilst on my way to Liverpool I stopped in Walsall for a quick bite and was impressed with the service I received at Oodles, Walsall. It’s a fast food joint which is value for money as you get a lot on one plate. Food was sumptuous with original oriental flavours. The service was fast and restaurant was clean. Staff were friendly and were able to help me choose the best from the menu.

Ordered from here for the first time. Leaflet said a deal. Couldn’t find online was told to add to basket and refund would be applied… didn’t happen. Ended up paying a lot more. Portion size is awful. Food is bland Never again. Ripped off

I love noodles!the recipes are delicious too. It hard to find such good food in lambeth.

After seeing all the hype on Instagram about how amazing Oodles is and reading some good reviews, they are also halal which was a bonus as food options are quite limited for my friend. My friends and I decided to drive 50 minutes from Liverpool to the Manchester branch.

So so GUTTED!!! our visit just didn’t live up to expectation. The restaurant decor was lovely, modern and clean. The staff were all a little bit rude and seemed unbothered by custom.
The fried rice was clumpy, the sweet and sour sauce looked radioactive and just tasted overly sweet and the spicy chips were just a soggy spicy mess. The sweet and sour chicken dish is impossible to get wrong and us westerners just love it but it was just so bland and sugary!!
The large boxes were woeful for the price they charge and we noticed there wasn’t one Chinese chef insight! Better sticking to your local Chinese with Chinese chefs and a third of the price.

The only pro was our Muslim friend left happy as the options are so limited for halal food in Liverpool- just fried chicken shops everywhere.

We ordered 2 x sweet and sour small boxes with rice and noodles and a chicken in black bean smalls box with noddles. All boxes were very spicy and full of chilli sauce. We struggles to eat it and most of it ended up in the bin. The one positive is that the portion sizes were reasonable.

First time trying Oodles today (Peterborough branch) and we were impressed. We were pleasantly surprised how much food we got in the box, tasty food especially enjoyed the caramel chicken.

It's obvious by now that you're not going to get value for money from this company, I could have made what we had with 1 pound's worth of ingredients. You need to seriously review your portions because what you did last time is just not cutting it. Your business won't last long with this consistently obvious shortfall.

Croydon branch - Poor quality, poor taste, over priced and on top of that they have the audacity to charge a ‘service charge’ when ordering through their own website. Never again

Terrible terrible .never have this problem before when order from cheetamhill branch or from bolton one .the chicken is terribly dry and the noodles are so black might be because of sauce or pepper but bcz of that over all it look so black and not look nice at all .i was so excited and have guest but end up feeling guilty .donot order it again

Had an issue with my online order but the customer service team were great and very quick to try their best to resolve this for me. Haven't had any issues before and this was overall a positive experience. Good customer service goes a long way and I'll continue to order from here :)

OODLES CHEETAM HILL BRANCH STAFF MANJU

If you're looking for a new Chinese restaurant to try, I highly recommend checking out Oodles Cheetam Hill. I recently dined there and had a fantastic experience.
First and foremost, the staff was amazing.
Manju in particular stood out as an exceptional server. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect.
In addition to the great service, the food was delicious. We ordered a variety of dishes and each one was flavorful and well-prepared. I especially enjoyed the katsu chicken curry and the egg fried rice and udon noodles. Also the teriyaki chicken.

The restaurant itself is also very nice - modern and clean with a cozy ambiance.
Overall, I highly recommend Oodles Cheetam Hill for anyone looking for great Chinese food and excellent service. And be sure to say hi to Manju if he's your server - he'll take great care of you! Xxx
