- Commited to improving home improvement standards
- When we started out in 2006 we decided that only formally qualified tradesmen and builders could join our service as members. This way we could stand over the quality of workmanship that users of our service receive. In 2008 we improved things even more by introducing a transparent and fair ratings system to enable home owners to rate the overall service they get from individual tradesmen. This not only informs and protects property owners, but also enables the good tradesmen to differentiate themselves from the bad. It's a win-win. We believe our company provides a unique and valuable service to the property owners of Ireland. We hope you like it too!

I signed up last year for €270.
I did not use their service once
They tried to take funds from my account this year and were unsuccessful the first time. I then told them I did not want to renew to which they replied they were sorry to hear this. The next day they took €490 without my permission.
Now they are not replying to my emails. I will be taking this matter to the small claims court. Very unprofessional of them. The lady on the phone would not listen to what I was telling her and I was told by her the company do not issue refunds.
To date €760 has been taking from me.

Hi Mark, We have been in contact with you multiple times regarding your account, and our team has actively worked to resolve this with you.
You’ve had full access to all member benefits and business support services since the day you joined. As per the terms of the agreement, job access would be made available once you submitted your carpentry qualifications or accreditations, which we have not yet received. Since you did not cancel in line with the cancellation policy, your renewal proceeded as agreed upon in the signed contract.
Our team remains available and is happy to work with you toward a resolution. Please feel free to reach out to continue this discussion.

Tradesmen don’t waste your money….
As a tradesman absolute nightmare to deal with …..talk the talk but don’t walk the walk in terms of access to potential work…they are only after the monthly subscription even before your fully registered.they are that bad at one stage they were sending me other tradesmen looking for work on my daily access to potential clients...complete waste of money as a tradesman the portal of work doesn’t exist….spam emails for a fee is all I got from it…waste of time!

We’re sorry to hear that your experience with our platform didn’t meet your expectations. Our goal is to connect qualified tradespeople with homeowners looking for reliable services.
To ensure quality and compliance, we verify all tradespeople before granting full access to job opportunities.
This process is outlined in the terms and conditions when trade pros subscribe to the service. On this occasion, we were unable to provide the type of work you were seeking, as it did not align with the qualifications submitted.
We appreciate your feedback and are always working to improve our service. If you need further assistance or have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
The website could use a little tweaking…
The website could use a little tweaking (for instance finding the response to your ad is not very intuitive on an iPad at least) but the service provided in terms of linking up with a trusted local tradesman was easy and fast.

Qualified tradesmen in one spot
While finding it hard to get an electrician in roscommon to come and do wiring to connect a generator to the house. I seen the add for trusted tradesmen.ie I'd downloaded it. I then put an add on the website and got a few replies within a day or two. Then one of the electricians rank me and we agreed a price and got it done. I was a year waiting for it to be done and only for the website and the electrician I would have been lost.
So I highly recommend online tradesmen.ie for anyone looking for a tradesman

I've used this site a couple of times…
I've used this site a couple of times to get quotes for various jobs and the quotes that have come back from "tradesmen" have been nothing but extortionate!
650€ ex Vat to replace x2 door frames and hang doors (materials not included)
1550€ ex Vat to fit a whole house pressure pump, pump was 450€ inc Vat is bought by myself, so over a grand for a few bits of materials and labor???
You come on here to hopefully get a reasonable quote for work to be done only to be given very high quotes..and it was always give us a ring on this number so the quotes are not logged on the messaging platform....so no record of them trying to bleed people dry with these quotes.
Wont be using Onlinetrdesmen,ie anymore, Id rather ring around and do the donkey work myself,

Thank you for your feedback on your experience with Onlinetradesmen. We understand your frustration regarding the quotes you’ve received.
It’s important to note that Onlinetradesmen does not set the prices for tradespeople—each professional determines their own rates based on factors such as experience, qualifications, job complexity, and location.
While some quotes may seem high, it’s worth considering the costs tradespeople incur, including insurance, tools, materials, and travel expenses.
Additionally, Onlinetradesmen does not charge commissions or fees on jobs quoted, ensuring that the prices you receive come directly from the tradespeople themselves.
We appreciate your feedback and understand that finding the right tradesperson at the right price is important. We’re always working to improve the experience for homeowners and professionals alike.
