I can't recommend Ocean highly enough. The whole team, from putting our house on the market through to completion, were outstanding and demonstrated the highest level of professionalism throughout.
Sam, Emma and Sadie-Mae in the Shirehampton office kept us informed every step of the way, making what could have been a stressful process feel straightforward and well managed. Stephanie and Ella on the legal side were quick, efficient and proactive, ensuring the entire process was seamless from start to finish. Linda Cox and team were incredible as solicitors on our house sale and purchase (even though we didn't used Ocean as agents for either). Ocean made selling our home genuinely easy and stress‑free.
We put the house on the market on Saturday and received offers in less than a week. The agents were professional, polite, and always provided a full 24‑hour notice before any viewing, which made the whole process feel organised and respectful.

Once we accepted an offer, everything moved smoothly. Within a couple of months it was all sorted. As expected with a 1970s property, there were a few bits of paperwork and outdated permit plans to deal with, but nothing ever felt overwhelming.

Communication with the lawyer was excellent, quick, consistent, and very attentive. We were kept updated on every small change and every question we had was answered clearly, which gave us real peace of mind throughout the process.

Overall, highly recommend Ocean Estates if you want to sell your home quickly, easily, and with minimal stress.

House was damaged during a viewing.
After house was sold unable to contact move manager on phone. Email responses were rude and unhelpful. We were told sale should take up to 14 weeks whole process took 5 months with no explanations as to why it was taking so long. When contacted to explain changes in personal circumstances no concern or response from agents.

Paul, Demi, Matt and the rest of the team at Portishead were excellent during the whole process of buying a property. Thank you very much for all your help!

Continually needing to phone for progress, receptionist very abrupt & spoke as though I was being a nusience for asking questions. I wouldn't use them again.

Well from start to finish was a terrible experience. Moved in house was not clean dirty and asked for it to be cleaned. Not ever done. Maintenance on property was not done with leak in ceiling and mould.Would never want to rent through ocean ever again. Poor experience. Poor communication. Avoid
