Purchased tickets for Harry potter for a weekend show due to illness we then sent in a rearrange date application through the online check in portal that was emailed to us,this was susequently turned down after the origional start date of the show !!
Totally unhelpful customer service £630 wasted avoid like the plague !!!!

We arrived at the Theatre after an interesting bus ride
into town. The staff were all very helpful and polite.
However,was a little surprised at having to ask to buy
a programme,none were being actively sold!?

Tsonia is the best!
My mum has a wheelchair and i wasn't sure about getting tickets etc as she can walk to her seat but doesn't need accessible seats. I contacted Nimax via email and Tsonia came back to me within a few minutes and was so incredibly helpful. Tsonia guided me with what seats would be best and gave me the best price possible, she reserved them and then me the link to pay. It was a flawless services and the best i could of asked for. I always worry about taking my mum to the theatre but this was the most incredibly friendly service i have ever received and put me at ease straight away. Thank you Tsonia!
Had a wonderful experience with Nimax
Had a wonderful experience with Nimax. Was looking for a half term show to take my toddler to in London and made a silly mistake of not only booking wrong date but booking wrong month!! (I need to slow down) I contacted Nimax within a few minutes and within half an hour they had refunded my money. That was spectacular customer service from Aidan. Thank you!!
Myself and my husband had tickets…
Myself and my husband had tickets booked tonight to see a show, we planned on getting there early so we could eat and have a look around. Anyway unfortunately my husband fell very ill on the train and passed out. We were given assistance at the station until my husband felt a little better. Feeling extremely tired and sick my husband felt he couldn’t get to the show so we made our way back home. I contacted the theatre box office as soon as I could and was told contact them through email which I did. Only to be told that they wouldn’t do anything except attempt to resell my seats as it was “on the day” I’m sorry my husband didn’t get ill 2 days earlier!!! I hope such a large company enjoys my money as I will never buy another ticket from you again angry doesn’t come close
I dont understand the negative reviews
The cheapest tickets to book for The Gruffalo were through the Nimax theatres website and after reading all these reviews I was apprehensive about booking. I decided to go ahead and book through them and glad I did. As mentioned, the tickets were cheaper than on other websites and was easy to book. The show was today and I received my "check in" email on Friday. Pretty straightforward to check in. We went to the theatre today and the staff were friendly and the seats were perfect. They have booster seats for little ones and the whole experience was positive and smooth.
Scammers
We recently booked tickets to see Hadestown at the Lyric Theater. Tickets were booked via Nimax Theatres. The seats that were allocated to us blocked our view at every angle. These seats should not be allocated and considered a scam.
I emailed twice requesting our monies back because we vacated the seats 30 mins before the show. They repeatedly ignored our requests.

For those of us who enjoy theatre in this great city of London, donot need scammers like Nimax Theatres who deprives us of a good evening of entertainment and the frustrations of getting our monies back.
Website is a total disaster
Tried to book tickets using different browsers: firefox, brave, edge, but all of these are blocked. So no other possibility than to buy the tickets using third party ticket sellers which change an extra fee
Do not use if neurodivergent- ableist company and booking system
This company do not issue tickets after payment. Instead there is a check in system as if you were going abroad. I didn’t know anything about this and didn't see the email. Missed the performance last night and called the next day. I spoke to Cerys who couldn’t wait to get me off the phone. She lacked in sympathy and was rudeI am neurodivergent and found this system complex and difficult. Please do not use. £100 down the drain
Tickets didn't arrive via email
Tickets didn't arrive via email, they're supposed to arrive 2 days before, the tickets arriving would have been my reminder to attend the production , so I missed it, contacted them, and they sent a default/generic email about they send tickets and it's my responsibility to check in, but how can I check in if I didn't receive the emails in the first place? sent them one back, and haven't heard anything, AVOID!
Abysmal Customer Service (Depending Who You Get)
After calling to change my tickets for a show, I asked the male customer service assistant at least four times throughout the call what their name was to be polite. Each time I asked, they didn't say anything in response, ignoring the question completely. Then when trying to ascertain what dates suited best, they used a very rude and passive aggressive tone of voice. Then at the end of the call when I asked their name again, they just hung up and didn't say 'goodbye' or 'thanks for calling Nimax Theatres'. This is either down to terrible training or the customer service assistant clearly not enjoying their job whatsoever.
I left the call feeling quite upset and concerned for other callers that speak to this unnamed man, and hope his actions change.
Of course, this doesn't apply to every customer service assistant, but only a few bad eggs.

DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM NIMAX...
It is a total scam. I mistakingly double booked the Mickey Flanagan show in London. I emailed the customer services the next day and they said, we can offer you another date. So, I asked what was available on a weekend, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Nimax offered me 2 seats 6 rows apart at either end of the theatre! I explained its not practical, it's a present for the wife and we'd like to be seated together. They said they have no available seats together, so you'll have to resale the tickets.
I confirmed a week before the show that I require a ticket resale. Mark then replied, okay your tickets have been forwarded to the box office.
On Tuesday, after the show which was held on Saturday night, I emailed again to see I'd the tickets were sold and the email reply was "The box office was unable to sell your tickets"! Not happy with the response I emailed again, this time Ali replied, stating that the box office was unable to sell the tickets. Now, not happy with the response I explained that a friend had gone to the box office that night and requested, two seats and they were denied, only single seats available. They even said the seat numbers on the tickets at home and they weren't sold to them. Apparently, they only resale the tickets once every ticket had been sold!!!
So after several emails, to and through and a few words that I will take this further, mysteriously all the emails with the previous Nimax staff conversations and mine, have disappeared!! However, except all of the automatic out of hours responses, where I wrote an email and when they've gone home it automates a reply...
I plan to take this further, they are clearly in the wrong, and are so incompetent they couldn't even delete the evidence properly. They are not to be trusted, stay clear of Nimax at all costs.

If I could give 0 Stars I would. I was searching for Six The Musical Theatre Tickets I then clicked onto London Theatre Tickets, then it gave you 3 companies to choose from, I just clicked on the First Company which was Nimax. I then chose my tickets and paid, unfortunately my Sister had already bought tickets and forget to tell me as I was buying as a gift for my Niece and Nephew. I pretty much found out this straight away, the money had not even left my Bank Account. I quickly got in touch with Headout Support which is where the receipt came from. They said tough you should have read the Terms and Conditions. On booking the Terms and Conditions box is so small you easily miss it, but loud and clear on the email AFTER purchase is NO REFUND NO EXCHANGES NO CANCELLATIONS, basically the consumer has no rights at all. I have given up trying to sort anything with these 2 Companies, but please do not purchase Theatre Tickets from these People, scam merchants, where the Consumers has no rights what so ever, then it states you only get tickets 48 hours before, that is also a concern for me I have bought Tickets from other well known Ticket providers and they have sent the Boxed Bar codes straight away, not 48 hours before someone is travelling many miles to get to London to watch the Show, I can imagine the nightmare trying to get them if they don't arrive.
Disappointed with service …
I wish I had checked the reviews before purchasing.
I am only asking to to credit the cost of the tickets to another show - but no. It’s kind of. Tough luck. Your loss. No refund. No transfer. Even though as a company they sell tickets for many shows.
Hopefully if you are reading this you have been sensible enough to check reviews first and will not purchase tickets for NIMAX shows!
They are horrible people
They are horrible people. Stay away from them if you can.
Our son got sick the morning of the play. We talked to them to change the date for the next day. Both the show of that day and the next one had plenty of empty places. They confirmed it, but said their policy is not to change anything or help the customers in any way. Given the vacancies both days it would have cost them nothing to help, but they are only focused on the money, and have no ethics, customer care or even pure decency.
It's just crazy how horrible the world is turning to, where companies like Nimax Theatres only care about the money, and they will do nothing for anybody even if it costs them nothing to help and it was due to illness. They are horrible people, which make a difficult world even more horrible with their focus on their profits and not caring at all about the customer.
There was an issue with the first show…
There was an issue with the first show I went to see of Harry Potter cursed child in Soho. I wasn’t overly fussed as it was mainly for the kids that I was there.
I did raise this issue over the seating with customer relations at Nimax and they responded swiftly and resolved this with a good level of customer service.
I admit that I left this lag for some time but Nimax held their part throughout (without me having to explain to multiple agents- which is painful) this is really good to see.

Five stars for box office
Five stars for box office. I made an error in my order, buying a ticket I didn't need for a child under one year old who would not be using a seat. This ticket was refunded immediately and a new order confirmation issued. Thank you.
DISHONEST THIEVES, SCAM COMPANY, AVOID AT ALL COSTS
We are in Australia and booked tickets for Six the Musical at the Vaudeville Theatre, back in September of 2022, for this July of 2023.
Both Qantas and Qatar cancelled our overseas flights, so we were forced to cancel all shows that we had booked.
I reached out to Nimax Theatres, but they refused to refund, nor even send the tickets to me, stating that they would only send the tickets out 72 hours beforehand. I contacted them twice and had emails from Lauren M, and Tanya, who both could not have cared less. In the end this dreadful scam company never even bothered to send me the tickets, which we purchased. So, without doubt, they resold them and profited twice for all three seats. We wonder how legal this is as it would never be allowed to happen in Australia. I would never deal with Nimax Theatres again, and truly hope that they really suffer in the future as they have made my family suffer.

Would give a zero if I could. Paid £140 to see an American actress, she couldn’t make that night. Didn’t tell us and refused a refund or exchange of tickets. Con artists! Don’t buy tickets from these guys!!!!
