Up until today, this was a 5 star product and experience.
With the new starri update my 9yo and 5yo no longer want to play the game. The new UI is too chaotic, and my son who grew to live and be a pro at this game, now says "I don't care", "why'd they change the one I loved". We'll be cancelling the annual membership and selling the Nex.
Make it impossible to cancel the playpass in their site. Predatory!
My name is Lewis. Please be cautious of this company; they offer subpar customer service and prioritize their own interests. I ordered the device and used it for a few days. Only a few games (of poor quality) are available to play, while the rest (of mid-quality) are locked behind a yearly $94 subscription paywall. I subscribed, only to find it was a waste of money. I tried cancelling so I wouldn’t be charged the following year, but I was still charged again the next year. I contacted them and opened a dispute, but they informed me I wasn’t eligible for a refund. They explained that even if you cancel the subscription three days before renewal, you are still charged the full amount for the next year.
