We purchased doors from New Wave Doors in 2019, and unfortunately our experience has been consistently disappointing. Since installation, we’ve had to arrange repairs three separate times due to issues such as door restrictors falling out, seals failing and needing replacement of locks and handles.

The situation recently escalated when our main door actually blew off its frame and landed on the decking — a serious safety concern. When we contacted customer services, we were told the doors were not designed to be left open, and therefore the damage wouldn’t be covered under warranty.

To make matters worse, we were then informed that the original model is no longer produced, leaving us with no repair option and instead being advised to purchase entirely new doors at a cost of around £7,000.

Overall, this has been a frustrating and costly experience, with poor durability, limited support, and a lack of accountability from the company. I would not recommend based on our experience.

I purchased 2 sets of 3m swing and slide aluminium bi-fold doors from New Wave in 2021. Delivery was great and they arrived when expected. I installed them myself and they are still a talking point when we have friends round for are annual get togethers in the summer. Very pleased with the doors and New Wave as a company especially @Zoe Evans. I have recommended to others and will be looking to using them again in the near future.

When looking for doors for my extension I found these doors on line and the explanation about them, made me think they were the doors for me. I ordered them with my builders and this was easy, they were delivered when they said they would be and fitted very quickly and efficiently in December. Now the weather is getting warmer I am starting to use them and really enjoying the versatility of them. I love the feeling of almost being in the garden. I would recommend these to anyone, the company are reliable and easy to work with and everyone I spoke to or came to my house was really kind and professional.

I have been using New Wave Doors for 5-6 years now, not only because the door system is so versatile and product is amazing but also because of the fantastic customer service I've always received from Zoe and Claire, no query or question is too much to ask, they always pick up the phone when you need them to and do all they can to help. Great company to work with.

We saw these in 2019 at a homebuilding show. We were impressed by the flexibility. We ordered a 3mtr set for us to install as my husband is a carpenter who has fitted endless doors and windows and used a laser to ensure they were fitted square and true. When originally fitted they seemed to be ok but within a few weeks they stopped locking. He adjusted them and ever since he has to adjust regularly them to ensure they lock. If they had not been so expensive we would have changed them within the 1st year. They are particularly drafty. We are now at the point after putting up with them for 5 years we are going to change them.

I was very impressed with the doors when i saw them at a show and new that they would be right for me, throughout the whole process the whole team have been outstanding, espcially Claire answering all my questions happily, it felt as every question was never a problem and that the whole team were ready to help throughout
the doors were installed and delivered on time and the aftercare has been amazing as well

Had a set of three New Wave doors installed by James and Martin, they are perfect much better than the bifold doors we had previously, we are very happy with them and New Wave as a company.

Incredible service, form meeting them at a trade show to install date, not one step had an issue. Claire especial was very professional and helpful and made sure nothing was missed and the communication was spot on. Thanks at doors fitted like a glove.

Had an amazing experience with my new wave door. I first saw them at a trade show in London. I was after a quite specific layout for my bifold door, to be 4 panel with a single opening door(not 2 joined as most bifold are on a 4 door layout) and to all stack on side of the opening. New wave could configure all that for me. They were so helpful and friendly all the way through to completion, nothing was too much trouble. They were so well priced only slightly more than normal bifolds but do so much more. I love the doors and would highly recommend New Wave

We replaced our uPVC patio doors with 2 doors from New Wave Doors. The old doors had an extra window above but this was easily replaced in the new doors giving a better experience.
The fitting went very smoothly and no issues were found.
Using the doors is very simple and they offer a number of options for allowing a flow air. Having the option to slide both doors to the side and fully open has meant we can move the large dining table outside for family gatherings in the summer... and it's so much easier to carry things in and out.
In the years since the fitting we have had no problems with the doors. Normal wear and tear has meant the draught proofing brush on the main door have become compressed but New Wave Doors offered a replacement brush free of charge.

From the moment we first discovered NewWave Doors at The Excel Building Show last September through to the final installation, both the product and the service have been excellent. Claire was fantastic too—always available to talk through any questions or concerns. She’s a real gem.
I would definitely recommend NewWave if you’re thinking about purchasing new doors.

We place a low deposit to lock in some benefits.
We received a follow up email promptly after the show. We actually had a short window as to when we needed installation.
I contacted Claire in a panic and she immediately reassured me that they would pull out all stops to get my doors to me on time. Which she did.
A couple of days prior to installation I was contacted to confirm delivery details. The installation team turned up promptly (Bristol to Bedfordshire) and had my doors installed within 2 hours. Our builders had done a great job preparing the space so the guys were able to crack on with the installation.
We are still in the process of fitting out our kitchen so we have not been able to fully enjoy our doors as yet.
But from order to installation stage was seamless.
Dealing with a family run business has been a pleasure.

With space restrictions inside and outside, and after seeing and speaking to their team at an exhibition, we knew they had a great product and the solution we needed. With a small deposit, knowing our build was a year away, the New Wave Doors team kept in contact, providing support and clear guidance when required, for our builders.
Highly recommended and the process was made so easy.

As I can't access my initial review I m posting an update. Our doors were eventually installed and later adjusted. The process was the most painful of any of our new build due to the waiting times and the lack of communication, however, the end result is very good. We love the look and functionality of the 2 sets of doors we have.
They now need further adjustment so fingers crossed that we get a response and the service team come promptly, then we might be in a position to recommend New Wave.

I was having a nightmare with the builder and building control. I needed an external door that looked good and met all the building regulations so that the building inspector would sign it off. The builder wanted to do whatever was easiest for him. I found New Wave Doors online who from the very start of registering my enquiry to placing my order was just a great experience. All of my technical enquiries were answered and communication was first class. Its early days yet and my door is yet to go into production but given the service to date I have no doubt everything will be fine. My new wave windows were installed in 2015. 10 years on some parts of the mechanism have worn. New Wave have been very helpful with providing replacement parts. Thank you.

Customer service very good all the way through the process of ordering to installation. Great communication.
We have had a couple of minor issues with the doors but the after sales service has been great and all issues have been rectified in a timely and efficient manner.
Doors are well constructed and are a dream to open and close.
