We purchase a workmaster 75 about 2 years ago. The tractor has been in the shop more than it has been in the field. First, as soon as we got it, the A/C wouldn’t work, come to find out, the belt wasn’t properly installed. Second, the starter broke a few weeks later, then the belt tensioner was bad making the belts squeak. Latest issue is the PTO safety sensor has stopped working. I called New Holland corporate. I asked what their policy was regarding lemon tractors, and was told they don’t have a policy. I was also told by new Holland that they don’t make any efforts to make things right with customers regarding the tractors that they produce. This is unacceptable and anyone that is considering purchasing a tractor, don’t purchase a new Holland unless you want to deal with constant breakdowns and unneeded expense’s.
Boomer 25 - Don't Bother!
Bought a Boomer 25 around 3 years ago, supplied with cutting deck. Tractor itself has a design flaw with the exhaust, meaning it fails pretty much on a yearly basis. Mowing deck is beyond hopeless, it needs far too much maintenance. We hardly use it - 90 hours total to date on flat grassland - but have had to spend in excess of £1000 on mower deck repairs (all bearings needed replacing, broken shaft, numerous new belts). Save your money and spend a little more on a John Deere to begin with!

Bought a brand new workhorse 35 in 2020. As part of
the 50 maintenance I tried to replace the hydraulic oil filter, as per manufactures recommendation. Filter was seized because of improper installation from factory. Broke a filter wrench trying to remove it. Had to take to shop to have them remove the filter. New Holland rejected responsibility, claiming it was a maintenance and not warranty issue.
With only 80hrs on the unit, the fuel sensor rusted causing contamination in fuel tank and issues with the injectors and the exhaust system. They warrantied the tank flush and sensor replacement but refused to cover the cost of the fuel filter, again claiming that as maintenance. Still have the unit in the shop waiting for the repair of the injection sensors and particulate filter sensors. "Authorized Service Center" has been trouble shooting issues for seven weeks. Requested assistance from New Holland customer care and was told, you need to work with the service center. In essence, sucks to be you.
Stay away from New Holland as their customer care, warranty, and service are a few rungs below what you would expect from Walmart service centers.
OIL LEAK ON TC29
DEVELOPED A SMALL SPOT OF OIL UNDER MY TC 29 HYD. SEEMED TO BE COMING OUT A SMALL HOLE IN THE BELL HOUSING. IT DRIVES FINE AS ALWAYS, SO TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP TO CHECK IT OUT. SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO SPLIT THE TRACTOR TO SEE WHAT IT NEEDED. THEY SAID THE HYDRO WAS BAD AND WE HAD 2 OPTIONS. TO SEND IT OUT TO BE REBUILT WOULD TAKE TWO MONTHS TO GET PARTS AND WOULD BE APPROXIMATELY $ 2,000. OR A NEW ONE (WITH 6 MOS. WARRANTY!) THEY COULD GET IT WITHIN A WEEK FOR JUST UNDER $5,000 BRINGING THE TOTAL BILL TO REPAIR IT TO $7,825, MORE THAN THE TRACTOR IS WORTH! VERY DISAPPOINTING THAT A BIG COMPANY LIKE NEW HOLLAND DOES NOT STOCK REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR THEIR DEALERS ON SOMETHING THEY KNOW IS A PROBLEM WITH THESE TRACTORS.
