Fantastic quality kitchen and amazing staff.
We recently had a Suffolk kitchen from Neptune at York, we are thrilled with the quality of the workmanship on the units and the kitchen finish has surpassed our expectations.
We also ordered the Edinburgh Double washstand which again is beautiful.
The staff at York including Khloe, Hayley and Kayleigh have been wonderful from the initial design experience to the final check in house and the service has been superb.
They have gone above and beyond when we have changed our minds on things along the way, nothing has been too much trouble.
The kitchen fitter and the guy who came to do the final paint on the units have all been great.
We would highly recommend Neptune.

Both the service in the York store and the delivery were excellent. The delivery team took great care to ensure the furniture was installed in the room where we wanted it and that everything was to our satisfaction.

I’ve been a frequent visitor to York
I’ve been a frequent visitor to York. They now don’t hold 5litre tins of paint. So in the past we have bought 2 x 2.5 l of paint and it has been discounted to the cost of a 5l. Now Aparently this is not policy. So the customer is the one who suffers so you either order (at cost) a 5 litre, as stores don’t have it or pay extra for 2 tins? The margin is slim, which I absolutely do not think is correct, why would Neptune sell it then, if not to make money?? You are duping the customer. So after 3 sofas, footstools, cushions,tables, lamps and lots and lots of paint..I will not only get colour matched paint… you have lost a valuable customer. Such a shame.. review your policies or hold the paint you advertise!

We understand your frustration around the change in approach to paint sizes. While we no longer stock 5L tins in store and therefore cannot offer equivalent pricing across multiple 2.5L tins. I appreciate this may not align with your expectations based on previous visits.

Beautiful store, wonderful shopping experience
Visited the wonderful Neptune store near York. It’s a large, lovely store housing many of Neptune’s beautiful products laid out in room settings allowing you to both experience the products but get ideas for your own home. It allows you to see, touch and experience the quality and craftsmanship of items which, at first sight online, may appear expensive, but when seen “in the flesh” you appreciate what you’re paying for.
We arrived on a cold, wet, blustery morning and were greeted by a lovely member of staff offering us a tea or coffee to warm us up. Nothing is too much trouble to the staff but they don’t pressure you in any way.
My husband and friends laughed at how much I enjoyed visiting until they visited themselves and now agree that it’s a wonderful retail experience full of beautiful goods and good old fashioned polite and friendly service.
Highly recommend it!

Brilliant, knowledgeable and helpful staff.
I love that the staff in Neptune York can advise on which colours compliment eachother as this helps making a choice so much easier. Today, I was struggling to find the correct shade of eggshell to paint my woodwork. Audra and Laura were brilliant, nothing was too much for them. They were patient, kind and just wanted me to be happy with my choice. I haven't experienced such great customer service in a long time... they are a true asset to the York Store.

Neptune and Bettys Event…
I visited Neptune York today attending a fabulous event held in conjunction with Bettys cookery school. The afternoon was spent watching Bettys experts bake cakes whilst sharing words of baking wisdom and lots of witty chatter whilst enjoying coffee and cake too, all sat in a stunning kitchen , just perfect in every way, not forgetting the amazing goodie bag bonus to take away - loved it all.
I’ve always felt warmly welcomed and my custom is greatly appreciated whenever I’ve visited Caroline and the team in York, can’t wait to return for my next purchase …. pictures and rug for the hall, great styling advice once again. Thank you.

Oak desk top advice.
I called Neptune hoping they could supply an oak desk top to match recently purchased furniture for our study. Although not a service Neptune offer, Lucy in the projects dept gave excellent support; she provided the exact technical details of the oak product I was looking to source. When I entered the details into Google, I found two UK suppliers who offering what I needed. Order placed and Oak desk top on the way. Thank you Lucy!

My Ardingly desk
My Ardingly desk is a lovely piece of functional furniture and fits in beautifully in its space. It is very high quality as I expected from Neptune. It was delivered on time and quickly and expertly put together by Ant and Lea. They were friendly and helpful, explaining how it worked and took away all the packaging. Great piece of furniture and also great service from Neptune York.
