Jegan and his crew were excellent
Jegan and his crew were excellent. Made our Mountain Biking tour of 7 days in Pokhara and it’s environment one of the most memorable MTB tours abroad. The selected terrain and locations were awesome with the backdrop of the majestic mountain ranges.

True bicycle adventure!
Me and my partner went on an eight-day mtb tour with Nepalmountainbike through Lower Mustang area. The trip was amazing! We were very happy with our quide Santaram who knows the terrain well and is an excellent mechanic. The bikes we were given were perfect for the job and in a proper state. We enjoyed beautiful scenery, friendly people and good food. We highly recommend the trip and the company!

Lower Mustang MTB
Lower Mustang MTB - overall this trip was awesome. Great quality proper mountain bikes and a great experience, Friendly guides and support personnel.
I went in September however had cloudy weather and it was warm. Would recommend waiting until October for clearer sky’s.
A dual suspension recommended for lower mustang as the trails are very loose and rocky.
Jagan was very accomodating and wanting to give the best experience to his clients. The MTB tour was challenging due to altitude but very rewarding. The guides were also very patient and experienced. Mountain biking was a great way to experience the Nepal Culture and the Mustang region. I would recommend Pokhara Mountain Bike

I have done a tour with Pokhara mountain bike twice. The owner is incredibly accommodating and kind as well as the staff. The first time I came, my family went biking and it was a thrilling , once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget. Good quality bikes were given to us. The guides were flexible and understanding. The next time I came for a hike with my friend , we are both college students. The company went above and beyond to make my friend and I safe and comfortable throughout our vacation. We went for a breathtaking hike through the Annapurna circuit. The guides were patient with us. Our guide Anil was super enthusiastic and I was so grateful to get to meet him and have his guide us on our trek. I highly recommend using this company as it is local guides. As well, the company is flexible to you and your schedule / circumstances and can create custom tours.

The rapidly growing world of MTB expeditions of major mountain climbs combines the thrill of the traditional BMX energy drink fueled downhill with the technical, physically demanding, multiple day trekking. Routes are incredibly beautiful and formidable with highly varied topography, major rivers, suspension bridges, and unpredictable weather all at some of the highest elevations for bikes in the world. MTB in the Himalayans has come into its own.
Pakhara Mountain Bike Adventure Pvt. Ltd. is an adventure company that is on the cutting edge of making this type of large scale bike adventures available. They operate exclusively in Nepal, allowing them to offer a wide variety of routes specific to the area. Their guides and porters are all locally grown, allowing them to bring a lifetime of experience to this highly technical and skilled sport. All guides are bike shop mechanics when they are not leading routes, making them imminently qualified to offer any mechanical support required while on rides. Their knowledge of the local culture, history, and weather patterns make them highly qualified to lead these expeditions.

Spectacular Upper Mustang Biking Tour
We did the Upper Mustang Biking Tour with Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventure.
Since we hiked the Annapurna Circuit before, we wanted an adapted tour that started in Jomsom. The company was very helpful with that and the communication was very smooth. Eventually our hiking was finished one day earlier than expected, so we asked last minute if we could start one day earlier with the biking tour which was also not a problem.
The tour was amazing: Starting in Upper Mustang which has an amazing culture and incredible high altitude surroundings and finishing in the low altitude green surroundings around Pokhara. So very diverse. Our guide Don, was a nice company and was very caring and helpful. He adapted the tour to our fitness and technical capabilities. Also the accommodation and food were very good!
So, thanks a lot! A very good memory is made :)

Riding with Binod, awesome ride!
Booked my ride last night and turned up at 9am this morning to meet Binod, my MTB guide for the day. I chose Round the Fewa Lake, which takes you off road up to the world peace Pagoda and then down a single track back to Pokhara. Got a bike, helmet and gloves. Jagan was very helpful in helping me choose a ride and Binod was a brilliant guide, very friendly but also very confident and would guide you through difficult sections. Would highly recommend if you like riding and something different from trekking!

Jagan and his team are extremely helpful and offer a very flexible service. The only e-mtb hire in Pokhara makes them the top choice for any electric biking needs. I had a great time on the bike and the shop provided all the additional equipment to keep you on the trail, as well as recommending the best local routes to follow. Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventures are your best choice for mountain bike hire, tours and trekking while in Nepal especially in the Annapurna regions. Whether you go for one of their set tours or work with them to put together a bespoke tour to suit your needs. I run a mountain bike rental, guiding and wilderness dining company in Scotland called e-trail adventures and I can say with first hand experience that Jagan and his team of guides, workshop staff and drivers are all very experienced, professional and great people to hang out with. They are willing to go above and beyond to make sure their clients have the best possible experience and leave Nepal with a total love and appreciation of their country and people.
They are available all year round and we had them arrange a trek and various mountain biking adventures during February which is actually a great time to visit Nepal. All our tours were fantastic, well organised and executed without any issues.

I definitely recommend, Pokhara Moutain Bike Adventures, this tour operator came recommend to me by a friend and Jagan (the owner)and team did not disappoint. Bike’s were quality Trek’s and the guide was well experienced. I truly appreciated how warm and welcoming the team was especially since I was traveling alone, Jagan gave recommendations outside of cycling and made me feel very comfortable. He tailored my two days of cycling to my interests (climbing and avoiding single tracks down). Let them know yours interests and they will adjust the routes. I had amazing mountain views on day two. The extra touches were also well appreciated, airport pickup, tea/coffee after the rides. I also love that they are empowering females in cycling and training up female guides.

I was initially supposed to go on my MTB tour in April 2020 but COVID soon put a stop to that. I had been in contact with Jagan ever since then and due to my work commitments I was a last minute booking which Jagan accommodated and had a guide (Suman) on stand by for my arrival.
I booked up for the 13-day Lower Mustang tour (which included 4 rides around Pokhara) and enjoyed it so much I extended my visa and also did the Upper Mustang tour which I changed to 11 nights.
Suman my guide was awesome and knew lots of routes and gave me lots of different route options along the way. We rode singletrack, double track, rock gardens, river beds, forrest trails, jeep tracks, tar roads, hike & bike, carry bike, some tough uphill rides & some amazing downhill rides. Most of the rides averaged 25km per day / 3.5 hours of riding.
I changed my trip routes before and during both tours with no issues at all.
Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventure have been operating for around 20 years and are the only operating MTB company in Pokhara. They have a large selection of MTBs available in all frame sizes which are all fully serviced and in good condition and available for daily rental.
I used a Trek Fuel EX5 with a XL frame.
There are so many amazing tracks around Pokhara so if you are not planning a trip away you can enjoy all the tracks in and around Pokhara.

Rookie rides the Annapurna Circuit
I was part of a group on 12 Australians that did the Annapurna circuit.
Jagan's team was absolutely phenomenal - they were extremely knowledgeable and professional, but also really fun people to hang out with. I am not an experienced mountain biker, but the guides gave me a great bike and enough advice and guidance that I was able to keep up with the rest of the group and have a great time doing it.
It was the most challenging ride of my life and I loved every minute.

Mountain biking the Annapurna Circuit
I joined a group of 12 Australians riding mountain bikes along the Annapurna Circuit that was supported by Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventure in October 2022. They supplied most bikes, organised accommodation and most meals, and guided and supported the 11-day tour.
Riding – and often walking - the Annapurna Circuit was an amazing experience. The scenery was beautiful and at times breathtaking. We also had a chance to see and experience the cultures of Nepal.
It was a challenging tour over rough terrain. We rode on roads, trails, single tracks and foot paths through some villages. We had three guides riding with us. They were professional, fine, friendly companions who guided our riding, patched our wounds (yes, a few knees and elbows lost skin), and maintained our bikes. We had daily briefings about what the coming day would be like. The guides had around 30 years of combined experience, so they knew the routes and the varying conditions we faced.
Throughout the tour we were well-fed and stayed in basic, but comfortable, tea houses. A hot shower usually wasn’t available as the first people to bathe often got most of the hot water – that was part of the adventure. Our luggage was transported from tea house to tea house by a 4WD vehicle, except for three days approaching and going over the pass at Thorong La. Minimal very warm clothing and gear were carried on those days.
Our bikes were well maintained and suited to the rough terrain. I was glad I rented my bike, rather than bringing my own. I rode a dual-suspension Trek with a dropper seat post, and 3 people brought their own bikes.
Highlights of the tour were (1) the Himalayas (of course!), (2) the people – our excellent guides and support staff, the rest of our group and the local people we met, (3) the food we ate – a mix of local and Western dishes, (4) the support we had from our driver and porters, and (5) the quality mountain bikes we hired.
I highly recommend Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventure, especially if you are a fit and at least moderately-experienced mountain biker. Jagan and his team are great! They also offer other guided tours, which I would like to do in future.

Your group of 12 Australians had a great time riding, walking and experiencing the stunning scenery and culture of Nepal.
The professional and friendly guides provided great support, including patching up a few wounds and maintaining the bikes. Their extensive knowledge and experience ensured that everyone had a smooth ride throughout the 11-day tour.
The tea houses offered basic but comfortable accommodations, and the food served was a mix of local and Western dishes. The luggage was transported by a 4WD vehicle, and the bikes provided were well-maintained and suitable for the challenging terrain.
Your highlight of the tour includes the breathtaking Himalayas, the great company of guides and support staff, the delicious food, the helpful driver and porters, and the quality mountain bikes. It's great to know that the guides had 20 years of combined mountain biking experience and that the briefings on what to expect in the upcoming days were helpful.
Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventure is highly recommended, especially if you are a fit and moderately-experienced mountain biker.
