Dave and High Asia Tours were amazing. From the very first email contact and especially as a female solo traveler, I knew I was in safe and capable hands. Dave's attention to detail knows no bounds and you never (ever) have to worry about a thing. From the tour around Kathmandu ably led by Valmiki, to the trekking skillfully guided by Dhiren and assisted by Sudip, I had the best trip ever. I loved and relished in every single detail. A long 40-day journey, circling the Himalayas from all sides, which ended, thanks to Dev Nepal, without any hitches, although during my stay in Nepal I witnessed the 3-day revolution of the Gen-Z generation, which, at the cost of many victims, caused a change in the corrupt governance model of the previous government of Nepal.
Trust Dev Nepal, whom I unreservedly recommend to anyone who decides to visit these tourist, cultural, religious and spiritual destinations unlike anything seen before in the world.

I prefer to hire a tour operator who lives in the area I am visiting, who has the knowledge of what makes a unique itinerary, who personally knows the guides, who has experience with the nuances of hotel stays, and who understand the preferences of their clients, which can differ from travelers from other parts of the world etc. Dev and his team at High Asia Tours were a perfect match for me. They were referred to me by a friend who was happy with a trip that Dev planned for them years earlier. For me, Dev thoughtfully planned a trip for 4 through Tibet, Nepal, and Bhutan. The entire tripped was organized via email. He listened to feedback, responded timely to all emails and questions, and offered a fair price. We asked for some itinerary changes and Dev gave feedback and honored our request where appropriate. He was a joy too work with and I highly recommend him and his team.

Dev from High Asia Tours is the man. We used High Asia Tours for our journey to India, Bhutan, and Nepal. Dev’s communication was superb regardless of the time zone change. He worked with us from the beginning and was very flexible with the changes we made along the way. Dev was very informative and kept us abreast regarding specific excursions we had in mind. It was a flawless procedure from start to finish. Set us up with great guides on each country we visited. He met us in Katmandu, had coffee with us as well as a drink the night before we left for the U.S.A.

I can't say enough positive things about High Asia Tours. I started working on my itinerary with Dev more than a year before our tour started. He was extremely responsive and

We toured India, Bhutan and Nepal. A bespoke tour of Bhutan ( 8 nights ) and Nepal (22 nights ) was arranged by Dev of High Asia Tours. After many emails, with advice and guidance from Dev, he arranged an itinerary which encompassed everything I wanted to see and do. The resultant extremely well organised trip was wonderful - everything I wanted and more!
My guide in Bhutan, Rinzin, was excellent - professional, knowledgeable, very friendly and went out of his way to ensure that I saw all I wanted to. I must also mention my driver ,Pema. He was a very careful driver, having to negotiating the mountainous and sometimes very snowy roads in a way which always made me feel safe.
In Nepal my guides, Valmiki and Dhiren, were excellent. Both were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and again both ensured that I saw and did everything I wanted to do and see.
My driver, Rahul, was a very careful and professional driver over many mountainous roads and with many miles with major roadworks.
I understand that Dev was in regular contact with my guides to make sure all was going well!
I must also mention my wildlife guides - Burma in Chitwan and Resham in Bardia - both were brilliant!
I would thoroughly recommend Dev at High Asia Tours and hope that I may be able to return some time in the future

I am not easy to please and do not like writing reviews. However, when I see excellence, I like to share it with my fellow travelers. Selecting the right tour organization to organize my tours is critical for me. High Asia Tours was highly recommended by a friend of mine who had traveled with them multiple times before. I traveled to Bhutan and Nepal for two weeks during March 2024. Dev worked with me to plan my itinerary. I truly enjoyed the trip and the guides I had various locations. They spoke good English, were very knowledgeable and went way out of their way to ensure a great journey for me. Dev was very much hands on. When the Pokhara airport closed due to low visibility he booked a fabulous hotel for me back in Pokhara and sent a driver to pick me up. Then the airport opened he changed everything and booked another hotel in Kathmandu. Kept in touch with me the entire time to make sure everything went well. He was also very flexible with changing my schedule to what I preferred to do. I also liked the variety of hotels he booked for me. It was a great and memorable journey thanks to High Asia tours. I highly recommend them

With a small group, we visited Nepal and Mustang for 2 weeks, and we took High Asia itinerary and guide. It was simply a great experience! Nepal is such a beautiful and various country, we went from high in the mountains of Mustang (up to 4000 m) to Chitwan's jungle. It was exciting and very interesting. And, last but not least, we had a terrific guide, named Balmiki: at the same time highly professionnal and very good hearted man. It is not exagerrated to say that I hope we'll stay friends, and possibly see each other again one day.

Highly recommend the company HIGH ASIA TOURS with the punctuality of all organization of our (group of 13 tourists) trip to Upper Mustang, Pokhara, Kathmandu and Chitwan National Park ! The Boss DEV and guide Balmiki took care of everyone of us from the first till the last second in Nepal.

C'est grâce à Dev, propriétaire de la compagnie que j'ai pu découvrir ce magnifique pays qu'est le Népal. Certes, je n'ai pas fait connaissance de tous les guides du pays, mais je suis convaincu que Dev compte parmi les meilleures guide du Népal. Ce dernier est très cultivé et saura vous transmettre le savoir de son pays. Aussi, vous serez surpris à quel point il connaît tout le monde! Oui vraiment! Peu importe ce que tu demandes ou ce que tu veux expérimenter, il connaît quelqu'un pouvant répondre à ta demande. Ce que j'ai apprécié beaucoup de lui c'est également à quel point il est soucieux et présent à ce qui a trait de notre bien être. Ayant passé beaucoup de temps à l'hôpital, il était présent avec moi tout au long du processus et a su si bien me rassurer et me faire sourire peu importe la situation.
Au delà du guide exceptionnel qu'il est, c'est aussi une personne formidable. Bon sens de l'humour, attentionnée, généreux et bien plus, il sait embellir chaque instant du voyage par sa présence. Meilleur guide avec un itinéraire couvrant tout ce qui est à voir avec un parfait mélange des attractions touristiques et des expériences authentique.

It is thanks to Dev, owner of the company that I was able to discover this magnificent country that is Nepal. Admittedly, I have not known all the guides in the country, but I am convinced that Dev is one of the best guides in Nepal. The latter is very cultured and will be able to pass on the knowledge of his country to you. Also, you will be surprised how well he knows everyone! Yes really! No matter what you ask for or what you want to experience, He knows someone who can answer your request. What I appreciated a lot about him is also how concerned and present he is with regard to our well-being. Having spent a lot of time in the hospital, he was there with me throughout the process and was so good at reassuring me and making me smile no matter the situation.
Beyond the exceptional guide that he is, he is also a great person. Good sense of humor, caring, generous and much more, he knows how to embellish every moment of the trip with his presence. Best guide with an itinerary covering everything to see with a perfect mix of tourist attractions and authentic experiences.

Just back from a perfect solo trip to the fabled Kingdom of Mustang. Dev and High Asia Tours did an amazing job, providing a great, experienced 4x4 driver and guide. Mustang is definitely off the beaten track and you need to get there now before National Geographic’s recent feature article in December 2022 brings in more tourists. Small towns evoke Tibet as written about by Heinrich Harrer with flocks of goats and shaggy Tibetan ponies in the streets, colorful native garb and delicious dal bhat cooked over primitive stoves. Scenery is other worldly: part Grand Canyon, part Utah badlands and mostly Himalayan. Go now! And trust Dev to take care of every detail.
