Shady business practices in this company
I completed an offer through AdGate media to purchase a subscription to this app ($14) and in turn get a $5 reward. I was taking a loss here, but it was worth it to complete the terms of another part of the hosting site that required a certain amount of offers completed to gain additional points. So I bit the bullet and decided to make the purchase for the greater good.
neonapps in turn denied paying AdGate media claiming I had done one of the following (response through AdGate)
1. The offer was completed by you or someone in your household in the past,
2. The offer requirements were not completed correctly. Please review the requirements and make sure they have been fully completed,
3. The offer was not completed within the time specified by the advertiser,
4. The maximum allowable time associated with completing the offer was exceeded,
5. The offer is no longer valid/available in your country/region,
6. The app was previously installed on your device,
7. The app/game is not supported by your browser/OS,
8. The information/evidence you entered was not accepted by the advertiser,
9. There was a lack of evidence to prove offer completion,
10. Your offer completion through the advertiser's tracking link did not register in their system,
11. You had ad-blocking software enabled when completing the offer,
12. You were connected to/using a VPN or Proxy server while completing the offer,
or
13. You have clicked on this same offer several times from different offerwalls, which may have caused the conversion to be attributed to a different network/offerwall
All of these points are false. Why would anyone go through the trouble of losing money to try and "game" this offer? That is just insanity and any level of critical thinking would lead them to realize that while there may have been technical glitches in the process (I have no idea since I wasn't given a concrete reason for denial) that the user completing the offer is acting in good faith. I realize it's my word against theirs, but I have nothing to lose here as I'm requesting a refund through Apple and not the company. I simply want to make other potential users aware of this company's shady business practices and unwillingness to uphold their end of the deal.
