We had a fantastic time on our Arctic Adventure with Natural World Safaris. We felt so prepared before we even left for Norway and the NWS team took such good care of us while we were there too.
We saw so much wildlife, including 6 polar bears, plus the gorgeous glaciers & pack ice. But it was the people - our wonderful NWS guides & the RV Kinfish crew - that made the trip for us! Simply the BEST.

I went to the Galapagos 33 years ago and was nervous to return, not wanting to spoil the magical memories made back then, but I wanted my husband to experience the wonder of the beautiful islands. The trip NWS created for us was a dream come true. From a stay in Mashpi retreat in the cloud forest in Ecuador to a week on the super Yacht Aqua Mare we did not stop smiling. I need not have worried, everything was organised and stress free, all we had to do was enjoy ourselves and we did. We loved every minute. For a journey and experience that will stay with you for a life time, choose Mashpi and Aqua Mare NWS style.

My wife and I have been using Natural World Safaris to help plan, coordinate and book all our wildlife adventure trips for the last nine years. Each time we come back from one of the adventures they've arranged for us we're ready for the next one. We usually travel for a month with many stops that require a lot of coordination with lodging transfers by car, boat or plane, guides, on-site contacts, and side trips etc. Doing it yourself can be very stressful and takes an inordinate amount of time especially if something goes wrong during your trip. You should be enjoying the experience not be trying to contact your transfere that was to pick you up for a soon to depart flight. Ejoying our travels is why we've booked 9 Safaris with NWS. Many times to Africa, twice to the Amazon, Antarctica, South Georgia Island, Galapagos, Madagascar, Borneo, Islands of Indonesia, Bora Bora and many others. Their familiarity with the countries, lodges and game reserves seems endless. All of our guides have been exceptional. A tell for me is we are often inviting our guides to dine with us as we've enjoyed their company and wish to continue learning about the places we're visiting. Two experiences with NWS keep them as our number one adventure travel agents. The first happened when we were in Botswana. The next day we were flying to Zambia. We got a message from NWS that the airline was redirecting our flight to Zimbabwe. Before we could start spinning over what do we do now. It turned out we needed to do nothing. NWS went on to tell us they had arranged for us to be met at the airport in Zimbabwe and driven to our destination in Zambia. What first appeared to be a problem was a complete non event.
The second issue this trip which I'll talk about. I broke my ankle two months before our planned trip to Borneo, Indonesia and Maldives. NWS helped us through getting information for our insurance then rebooking flights, lodging guides etc. for the following year. We just got back from that trip and once again had a memorable time. We arrived in Sepilok, Borneo and stayed at the Sepilok Forest Edge Resort in a three room tent. More like a sultans desert camp than a tent. Very nice with good food and a pleasant friendly staff. We visited three sanctuaries while here. All very interesting and worth experiencing. Sun bears, Orangutans, and Proboscus Monkeys. Our guide stayed with us through out Borneo. We left there for the Kinabatangan River and stayed at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge. Another stunning place. Our lodgings were all first rate? The food very good and plentiful. Here you traverse the river to see the animals. We saw Orangutans, Pigmy Elephants, Proboscus monkeys, Rhinoceros Hornbills, Alligators lots of birds. We saw all these in 2 days of the trip. I have to credit the quality of our guides. We left there to the Danum Valley and stayed at the Borneo Rainforest lodge. We had a stunning view from our room of the rainforest across the Segama River. We did most of our viewing hiking around the lodge area. Lots of Orangutans and monkeys.
We left Borneo to continue our adventure sailing around Indonesias Islands. We arrived in Komodo and boarded the Seatrek boat the Katharina. We spent 9 days snorkeling along islands among coral, fish of all kinds, turtles, manta rays, even saw a whale shark. We walked among Komodo Dragons and hiked along a volcano. The meals had great variety and flavor. There were only 12 guests in 6 staterooms with bath along with a crew of 12. It was another memorable adventure. We regrettably left Indonesia to finish our adventure in the Maldives at Baros Island resort. A quick 25 minute speed boat ride from the airport and we were there. It was 5 days of a luxury tropical paradise. We stayed in an over water bungalow that allowed us to step into the ocean from our back deck. I would describe this as a honeymooners tropical paradise. The place was immaculate with white sand beaches and coconut palms, just beautiful. Three restraunts, two bars, a dive shop and activities to care for 76 rooms. We even had a butler. A nice way to end our trip. Thank you NWS. Our next adventure back to Africa.

I'm giving NWS 5 stars for the things they can control, not factoring the things they can't. I've worked with its friendly specialist teams for years; they are always professional, knowledgeable, reachable and reliable. They've been to the spectacular places they recommend and rarely steered me wrong. When something has gone wrong, it's been due more to Mama Nature's unpredictable temperament or the uneven quality of subcontractors and local operators.

My most recent surf & turf NWS adventure, sailing and snowmobiling through Svalbard, was incredible. We drove with guides through an awesome landscape, blissing out on scenery that was both intimate and otherworldly, as we novices navigated an occasionally tricky terrain. The ride required more stamina and concentration than expected, and than a few fellow travelers were up for, but the sublime journey was worth the effort.

Our first destination, Isfjord Radio hotel, was a quirky, remote outpost with unpretentious charm and style. Comfortable, minimalist rooms showcased beautiful picture-window views; shared bathrooms and showers were well-appointed and never crowded; lounges/libraries, cozy and inviting; dinners, adventurous gourmet takes on local game (whale, seal, ptarmigans, and reindeer) accompanied by great wines, beers and spirits (in every sense of the word).

The R/V Kinfish delivered us to breathtaking snow- and ice-covered fjords, deliciously well-fed and graciously looked after, if not (by general consensus) in the greatest style. Hanging out on the bridge joining the search for wildlife was the highlight and a real bonding experience for fellow travelers. Playful artic foxes and cheeky seals and walruses put on a show, as one polar bear snoozed, often against captivating, technicolored backdrops. The ship's pop-up sauna was also a hit.

NWS was passionate about this trip, and now I can understand why. Having checked it out, finally after years of their advocacy, I can't wait to go back.

The trip thru India and Sri Lanka was well thought out and the accommodation were amazing. We had around 15 safari’s and the guides and drivers were knowledgeable and engaging. They not only were knowledgeable in the local animals , but the difference between other countries game. Our viewing of tiger, sloth bear, array of birds was amazing in India. Thought it could not get any better until we arrived in Sri Lanka. Again the viewing was amazing and the lodging and camps were phenomenal. Leopards , Asian elephants, mammals, and birds were amazing. The Temples we visited were beautiful and the people do devoted and welcoming. I’ve been on a lot of Safaris in Africa ect….. but India and Sri Lanka with the culture was one of the best trips ever. Natural World Safari’s did a great job designing this trip to perfection.

I had high expectations of this trip as I spent £10,000 and the itinerary was worded extremely well. I ended up in a complete tourist trap. For 5 days of a 2 week trip I was sent on the same boat trip 'river cruise' up and down the river. The boats are loaded with tourists and go up and down with guides giving the same information each time, while breathing in the fumes of all the other boats. While the river cruises are worded completely differently, it turns out that if you do want to have the opportunity to see anything different, you have to pay extra. The 'guided boardwalk' activity consisted of the guide walking us around the lodge boardwalk (approx 500m worth) and showing us a pigeon and a sceptic tank used to make the shower water. The boardwalk is a walk you can do on your own at any time but is sold as 'an experience' if you believe NWS itinerary.
When I spoke to a representative, she told me that there isn't much else to do there other than river cruises. When I sent her a list of the activities available at my lodge, she told me that £10,000 covers the basics and that if I wanted to do something else, I should have specified.
Having spent a huge chunk of my savings on this trip, I ended up with the bare minimum - food, accommodation and activities. NWS charge luxury prices for basic packages. Very disappointed!

I have taken at least 12 trips to the Arctic and Antarctic regions. The November 2017 Ultimate Antarctica Photography Safari with Natural World Safaris was the best of all.

I have since booked 12 more trips with Natural World Safaris to the polar regions and other parts of the world. My latest trip to Svalbard on the Polarfront with NWS in May of this year cemented the height of my satisfaction with this company. The icing on the cake was watching more than two dozen blue whales in a feeding frenzy off Spitszbergen.

NWS truly offers high quality products and excellent communication at every step throughout, from the pre-booking discussions to the end of the journey and with a thoughtful follow-up. Every itinerary is filled with enriching activity from the arrival time to departure. Granted, each NWS trip has a high price tag, but from my experience with other companies that offer similar products, Natural World Safaris has set a far higher standard for anyone to follow. I am planning to book more trips with this company.

Our trip to Tanzania was flawless, because NWS worked with us for several months before the trip to make it perfect! The Itinerary allowed us to see every animal and bird on our wish list. The bush camps were excellent. Our guide for the entire trip was Ebenezer. I have been around the world on many trips. He was the best guide I have ever had! We have also set up another trip with NWS in a few weeks.

We had the most wonderful time on our 2 week safari in Tanzania. We were able to see over 160 species of birds and 45 + species of mammals. And lizards and crocodiles! Ebenezar was our guide for all 14 days and he was amazing. Spotted animals and birds galore. Watched cheetahs stalking gazelles. He even stopped when I wanted to take a picture of a cloud.
Our camps were very, very nice. Clean and filled with friendly staff that helped us with anything that we needed.
This was a trip of a lifetime and we are so glad that we booked with Natural World Safaris and for our awesome Guide Ebenezer!

From the first contact over phone Natural World Safari offered a high level of service and continued throughout the experience, following up details of the trip with us before leaving, sorting out pick up and dinner on arrival due to a delayed flight, always providing swift responses to questions etc. The local tour operator they used was fantastic. We were a bit hesitant in the beginning since we only had contact online but we are very happy to have booked our wonderful Namibia safari with them.

Would never even think about using another travel company- always get a first class service, always have an exceptional holiday!

Everything was amazing. We visited Costa Rica this past February, 2023. It was hassle free, stress free, no worries. The company has an app that tracks flights, transfers, hotels. They are always nice and patient with my stupid questions and they picked great safe places for us to stay. People in Costa Rica are sooo very nice and proud of their country. It was a life changing experience!!!

Really knowledgeable team member who organised our trip to include exactly what we wanted and with the addition of some really good suggestions of his own! It made such a difference to be talking to someone who had actually visited the destination and who could give helpful tips.

I've used Natural World Safaris three times to create exceptional, bespoke wildlife tours and they never fail to get every detail absolutely perfect. Absolutely wonderful!

David at NWS set up a wonderful Ugandan safari for my mom and me to celebrate her 70th birthday. We saw so many wonderful animals up close in the wild! We had a wonderful time seeing giraffes, lions, leopards, and elephants. Tracking chimpanzees and gorillas was a life-changing experience. The lodges that we stayed at were absolutely beautiful with excellent food. Additionally, we both felt very safe during our safari.

Would strongly recommend! Truly the Pearl of Africa!

A great small boat cruise to the West and North of the Svalbard archipelago. No jacuzzis or saunas on the M/V Kinfish, but a warm, comfortable boat with a great crew and guides. Only 12 passengers so plenty of space in the Zodiacs and flexibility in the programme when needed. Worth the extra cost compared with the larger ships where you end up as part of a convoy of 20 Zodiacs. The highlight was probably the mother bear and cubs feeding from a dead whale, but the other wildlife and scenery were also an experience. Apart from some issues with SAS on the return flight, all the arrangements from NWS worked well. NWS information before the trip was good, and the post trip diary was a nice extra touch. Spend the kids' inheritance, go for it!

When the trip to Madagascar that we had planned for 2020 with another tour operator was cancelled for the third time in 2022, NWS found us space on a trip they were running on almost the same dates. We felt very well cared for by the UK team and in Madagscar the local guides and drivers were brilliant. We saw everything we hoped to see and learned a lot about the country

This was a once in a lifetime experience. NWS communicated well, were very efficient, and friendly. The accommodations, guides, etc were great!! I would use them again and would highly recommend.
