Absolute disgrace had a part fitted in December that is now faulty car hasn’t been looked at and already getting the excuses . There complaints department is a joke Also everything takes an age with repairs . My car is now unsafe to drive due to the shoddy workmanship and I already know this will be pammed off and they will claim it’s a different part

First class experience in Stirling today. 4 tyres fitted quickly and professionally and overall a very positive experience.

David and the team are second to none nothing is too much trouble to they guys worth their weight in gold always knowledgable helpful polite and explains in simple terms what the problem is and gets quite and fixes it they go above and beyond highly recommended to all

David was helpful when booking a time slot for a car check. Arrived on time the following day and car taken straight in. Checked within ten minutes and fault identified. David then gave me tour of issues and was able to fix one of these with a wrench! Which he done and rattling solved. No charge, even after I offered to pay for labour. I know this turned out to be a minor problem but this sort of outcome must be rare. David couldn’t have been more courteous and it was a pleasure to have taken my car there. Surely a rare accolade for any car garage. We’ll done to David and his team. Will go back there when I need tyres.

Seriously dishonest and dodgy business practise and the tyre warranty is a joke.

I bought 2 rear Dunlop tyres from national last February and paid extra for their extended tyre warranty; noticed a slow puncture last week so dropped it into the national tyres nearest my work hoping they’d sort it; had a call an hour later telling me there was 2mm tread max on the back tyres (these tyres had covered roughly 8000 miles and were around £540 for the pair) and that it was against company policy to repair a tyre that was down to 2mm. The extended guarantee seems to state that they’ll repair a tyre down to 1.6mm, either way that’s not my key gripe…. Ordered a pair of conti sports from Kwikfit who called when I dropped it in this morning asking why I was changing one tyre that had 4mm left across the board and that the other was repairable and also had 4mm left. National told me that I had under 2mm left on both rear tyres and told me that despite the cause of the puncture being in a repairable place they wouldn’t do it because the tyre was under 2mm.

They are crooks, the extended tyre warranty is a con!

Also beware of the tyre extended warranty terms, the discounts they offer depending on remaining tread is off the highest rrp, I was told he’d offer me 20% off the recommended retail price which was roughly double the price advertised on both national tyres and Halfords web site. Unless your getting 70% off or more you’d be cheaper buying from their website or in my opinion better shopping elsewhere!

David and the team are superb. Professional, efficient, cost effective and super helpful. Great experience(s) having winter tyres fitted and a check of the brakes etc.

I phoned the garage explaining i had an exhaust rattle. I submitted my car an hour or so before the appointed time.
After about 90 minutes they said my car was ready to collect.
When i came to collect my car, the mechanic told me i had an exhaust mounting broken, he was very curtious but also told me the suppliers system was down and therfore could not quote me a price for repair, he said they would ring me as soon as they could.
The next day i got no call so the following day i went to the garage to find out what was wrong.
The service receptionist told me he had trouble sourcing the part, then he said when i know, you will be the first to know.
By the end of the week i had heard nothing so i took my car to quick fit falkirk, they soursed and fitted the parts within 2 hours.
It is over 2 weeks now and i have still not heard from national tyres/halfords. I have gave a one star rating only because no stars was not an option.

booking on line was very straightforward only problem i had was nowhere to put in my IAM discount at 17% it would have handy, but i still went to this NT depo as the manager and staff do look after me car.
