Very poor aftercare service. 3 months after buying 4 tyres with full cover plan, i noticed that both rear tyres were deflating roughly the same from 2.4 down to 1.5ish. After a month, having made sure that it wasnt a one off, contacted a garage, took the car to them. Told the person that i had pumped the tyres the previous day as they were too low.
His verdict - saying he checked them and didnt find any issue. No attempt to reseal the tyres.
Their cover plan and service are not worth the money!

I would like to thanks Patrick and the and the team for their great customer setvice and care. Profetionals that makes sence. Brigdestone front tyres fited, and tracktion adjustament. Highly skilled profetioly. I will use National tyres again and again so car used twice back in 2022 and now 2024. Grate service,iam more than happy with my new tyres and tracktion.

I had a puncture , just before a long journey back to Dorset. The branch manager was extremely helpful , very friendly and very efficient. Yorkshire at its best . Thanks guys 👍👏👏👏 Highly recommend the Doncaster branch . Thank you from Julius The Dutch man .

Arrived at 11.15 with a slow puncture and Arval approved its replacement at 11.51. 2 cars were being worked in but by 12.15 mine could have been worked on but everyone disappeared. No cars there except mine yet it was 1.35 when the manager asked what I was waiting for despite me asking several times when it was going to be done. I will never go to this place again. Staff didn’t care less. After 2 hours and 50 minutes I didn’t get any invoice / receipt or anything and I wasn’t hanging around another hour to get any. He said I was good to go and I did

Booked my car in for 2 front tyres. Waiting at 10 am was told it could take up to 2 hours. I work as a vehicle technician for a major brand and get 12 minutes to fit one tyre, so how is a 2 hour wait reasonable. As well as this I sat in the viewing area and watched the staff standing in a group just chatting. This affected my whole day there after.

Fab service from start to finish will defo use again. Thankyou too all.

Recently had my first visit to a National Tyres and I am not impressed. I was told I'd be called when my car was ready but after a few hours I had to google the number and call them myself to find out the work had been done earlier. When I collected my car the steering wheel had a big scratch underneath it on the leather right where my hand sits when driving. As the part of the car you touch the most, this is very irritating. I can't work out how they managed it, having only had my car for a couple of hours and probably only driving it mere feet into the garage to carry out the work. This just shows how little care they must take. I've never had this sort of thing elsewhere - kwik fit call promptly and I always collect my call in spotless condition. I won't be returning to National Tyres again.

The only good thing is that I like the Avon's I had fitted and recommend these over the firestones I'd had on my car previously.

Purchase all my tyres here and have previously used for an exhaust on my old car. Today I went for advice as I felt I had been misled by the main dealer that had serviced my car. The staff member was understanding and helpful and did a visual check on my car, confirming that it was safe. He advised me to return to the main dealer and challenge what they had said, which I did. I really appreciated the help, highly recommend using the Doncaster branch of National Tyres.

Easy to find my tyre sizes on the drop down menus and very well explained on the website what I was getting for the money.

Having ordered a avon tyre online, i went as arranged to have said tyre fitting , i arrived early as advised..
my vehicle is a 3.5 ton motorhome, the manager said i cannot fit it as the the is too heavy for our 2 ton jacks. i didn't require him to lift the whole vehicle just one corner, he was very rude and quiet un friendly not the sort of customer service i expect from a company like halfords. I stated i had 4 tyres fitted 2 years ago by them with no issue, response, we now work for halfords. What an unpleasant experience, never to go back.

It's ridiculous that a tyre advertised at £93 and in stock is an extra £25 if you don't book online and if you do book online it's an extra £10 to have it fitted that day, even though there are appointments available.
3 different prices for the same tyre to be fitted in the same garage.
Follow on. New tyre fitted. Tyre fitters in store were 5 star.

Unacceptable waste my time, money. I drove 30 miles to get wheels alignment for my car and i have paid 37 pounds for nothing, and i got scammed with a fake offer,service of half price, they just speend 10 minutes to check around my car, when i asking for report wheels algmeant results they told me a printer not work, but already check car results print it!

Help was also provided over the phone when encountering discount code verification

From the start (ordering online) to finish (getting the tyres fitted at the garage), this is a fantastic service.

Special mention to Tony the manager at Doncaster yet again, this chap is so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble.......I had a small issue with my new tyres which he sorted straight away, I must say he is a credit to National Tyres and this should be recognised by his employers.

I had a tyre check at National Tyre Centre and was told I required 2 tyres as they were close to the legal limit. I was told it would be £279.38 for both, this was after I got £5 off for Halfords Motoring Member (HMM) discount and 10% for having 2 tyres. I said it seemed expensive but gave the go-ahead. Whilst waiting I browsed the National Tyres website and found the same tyres for £120.99 each, before I applied the 10% discount or the £5 HMM. I asked the lady on the desk why this was and she said they charge a different price at the Centre. I could understand a small difference but after discounts, I ended up paying £66 more (as the tyres were fitted or I would have cancelled) than if I had ordered online. I complained to National Tyres and Halfords, it took several emails before I got a response! Their response was if you have the work done at the Centre it is classed as a fast fit service and there is a price difference. I acknowledge if it was an emergency etc, then I could understand a small additional fee, however, it should be explained before you purchase to check the online prices as the difference is significant. I did receive a call and apology from the centre and they agreed to refund £33, half the additional cost, I agreed as I wasn't getting anywhere with my emails. My review is to advise people to book online and not go direct to the centre, I feel this should be explained prior to purchase as it is not anywhere on their websites. In todays economy, Halfords values say: They put customers at the centre of everything they do and give expert advice and support to their customers. Come on Halfords live up to your "Values"
