Excellent service as always. Richard, the manager, sorted out our car from a walk in and fixed the tyres so we could get going within an hour. Fantastic service and really friendly team.

Fantastic service
Fantastic service from reception to service staff, as I have always experienced at Mansfield. Was booked in for a slot, but was called to advise me of a cancellation so I could be seen earlier.

Booked in for an mot and service at…
Booked in for an mot and service at 10.30am Received a call to say it had passed around midday but I had a nail in a tyre and the front brake pads needed replacing. Asked for a price and went ahead. Wasn't told on the phone that these items wasn't in stock. I was in town and decided to have a slow walk back to the shop, on the way grabbed a sandwich and a drink. Sat on the grass bank outside as it was a nice day at 2pm. Over an hour went by and not once did they even look at my car. I decided to find out what was happening only to be told that other cars were in front of mine and that the parts had just arrived. This was a lie as the parts had been there 30 minutes as 3 delivery's had been. I asked how much longer it would be and I was told 40 to 45 minutes. Ok I will wait here, other people come in with cars and to compound the frustration a lady came with a car and was told it was going to be a few hours only to be told by a staff member that he had nothing to do all afternoon and was seen straight away. She was also put as a priority by the manager even though I had no been waiting 5 and half hours.
Finally I was told my car was ready but still waited 10 minutes while the bill was sorted. I was given a little off my bill as an apology but that doesn't make up for the awful service.

While we’re pleased your vehicle passed its MOT, we sincerely apologise for the lack of communication regarding parts availability and the delays you encountered. You should have been clearly informed from the outset about stock issues and expected waiting times, and it’s disappointing to hear that this didn’t happen.
We’re also concerned by your comments about how your vehicle was prioritised and the conflicting information you were given. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we understand how frustrating it must have been to wait so long without clear updates.
Your feedback has been shared with the team so we can review what went wrong and ensure better communication and organisation in the future. While we did offer a gesture of goodwill on the day, we appreciate that this did not fully make up for your experience.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and we hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future.
