What a shambles. Avoid. …
Took my car in to fix a noise coming from the front of the car. Charged me £400 for a new driveshaft and wheel bearing. Took it out on the road and the noise was still there. Said they’d road tested which is tosh. Took it back, said the nose was ‘quieter’ and another bearing must have gone. Blatantly didn’t investigate the issue properly and I’ve been totally mugged off. Even the mileage on the invoice was wrong. What a joke.

Dear Mr Hoey,
When you brought your vehicle in for us to investigate the vehicle had an excessive clicking noise and bearing noise that after road test was identified as predominantly coming from the offside front.
We changed the drive shaft and wheel bearing on this side that rectified the clicking noise and partial bearing noise. Unfortunately, once these faults had been rectified it identified that the other front wheel bearing was also noisy which would have been extremely hard to hear due to the more excessive offside issues.
The vehicle was road tested prior to work being carried out and after work had been completed, this can be proved by our CCTV.
We are disappointed if you feel you have been mugged off, this is certainly not the case and your vehicle was investigated properly. Unfortunately , your vehicle had multiple defects which we will did not cause, we only tried to rectify.
We would have been happy to try and resolve the faulty bearing issue on the nearside front but you left the depot before the manager could discuss it with you.

Quick and efficient and very helpful
