Ordered the product online
Ordered the product online, went through the tedious purchasing procedure, got a phone call to say item out of stock. This has happened on a previous attempted purchase also, when the website failed to recognise a discount offer code and the purchase failed to complete. I shan't bother with this company again.

Goods received after a week
Goods received after a week. That’s ok, but not a 5 star in this day & age when many companies deliver next day, or in just a few days. The goods were in the warehouse.
But the worst aspect was complete lack of communication! The tracking was non existent. I had to phone to try to find out delivery date. The delivery driver at least texted the night before confirming delivery next morning!

The reason your order took a week was because we used our own van and driver to deliver which unfortunately does take a few more days as it is very busy with collections and redeliveries of service work and we have to put a run together in one area unless you are very local to Sandy. It is a much better service as this stops the risk of any damage by not using a courier and Alex always lets his customers know when he will be with them.

Back to a rake and wheelbarrow not the Feider leaf vacuum ready for…
Bought a Feider leaf vacuum ready for the autumn. When I opened the box to build it the throttle control box was broken and the machine would not turn off without using the safety feature of removing the leaf bag. In correspondence with customer service I was told that it was my fault as I could have broken it and then I was told that I should have bought a “billy goat”. (Not the animal but a more expensive brand that presumably wouldn’t have arrived broken). I am now still waiting the gesture of goodwill £30 refund (to shut me up) some months after promising to credit my card. The machine is great for the short time that it works but is almost impossible to start again when warm from running and so it’s back to a rake I’m afraid. Rubbish product and awful customer service. An expensive mistake.

I understand from the office that they have offered to collect your machine for an inspection/repair in our own workshop and as long as the issue is due to a manufacturing defect any costs incurred will be covered/reimbursed under the manufacturers warranty, however if the fault is due to user error/misuse any repair costs would be your responsibility, alternatively you could take the machine to a local repair agent and as long as they provide an invoice stating the fault is warranty we will reimburse you any costs incurred.

Stiga 598 Tractor Mower
Mine was a mixed experience, but with a very happy ending, largely thanks to hard work, done by, initially, Ben, in sales, who advised me concerning tractor mowers that would be suitable for my needs, Sally, who then sorted out a warranty claim, refund issues, and ultimately, the happy ending that resulted, and Alex, who worked very hard collecting and delivering my replacement machine, a Stiga598, which I am finding to be superb, easy to use, a very tight turning circle, good collection and emptying facilities, and brilliant to drive. Thank you to the three of you for your hard work, diligence, concentration, and for seeing it through to the end. Much appreciated.

The lawn mower ordered and accepted / confirmed was not in stock with availability in December. Therefore I elected for a more expensive model and delivery was good in 4 days even though I paid £20 for stated next day delivery.

Won't refund orders
Order placed early September and told it may be 2-3 weeks for delivery due to a fire in their warehouse.
4 weeks later no delivery and after countless phone calls I was eventually told they couldn't provide my order.
Fast forward another 3-4 weeks and I still don't have my money back. They have held onto £300+ for nearly two months and have informed me they aren't able to issue a refund and I need to raise a dispute through my bank???
I would seriously avoid this company for the foreseeable as whatever has happened in their warehouse seems to allow terrible service. I just want my money back...

Be warned this company sold us a faulty…
Be warned this company sold us a faulty mower. It was faulty from the start (you shouldn`t have to prime a mower 15 times each time you start it, and I don`t mean on initial use, I mean half way through mowing your lawn)
They refuse to have anyone senior to speak to. refuse to collect faulty goods (it`s for you to pay to return them and they inspect them) your word against theirs then. Only way is to do a chargeback through your card company seeing as they refuse to abide by the law on distance selling regulations.
