Awesome Porsche specialist! Just purchased a 981 Boxster and wow! All my needs were met, couldnt be happier. Even had a call from Matt on Boxing Day out of hours while he was unwell to reassure me on a question. My car is like new, im a proud new owner and will be a lifelong customer from now onwards. Lots of stock to choose from and all cars are in amazing condition and all checked before leaving the showrooms by the in house workshop.

Mortimers were very professional from start to finish with the purchase of my porsche the driver they sent to pick up my car was very polite and helpful with the transfer

I didn’t actually buy a Porsche from them in the end, but that was simply because I went for an automatic model of the Cayman 981, and Mortimers had a manual for sale. However, the (potential) customer experience was fantastic and unparalleled - I was taken out for a test drive with Will, and from the outset it is obvious that both he and his brother have a passion for Porsche which has naturally given them a deep knowledge of the brand and industry. Based on customer experience alone I have to say we thought they deserved the sale, it was just a simple case of opting for an automatic with another dealer! Hence I thought I would post a review. I am thinking of buying a Boxter for my father however in the future, so will likely be back as a first port of call.

I have just bought my first Porsche from Mortimers Prestige and the whole experience was a total pleasure from start to finish. Having looked at a number of different car showrooms and independent dealers whilst trying to decide what car to go for next, I can honestly say the service and expertise you receive at Mortimers is second to none.
They really have a passion for the cars they sell and that shines through from the initial greeting right through to the final handover. Looking round their showroom is something else, it is wall to wall high performance beautiful cars, and John was more than happy to share his knowledge about any vehicle I was interested in.
It was a couple of weeks between my decision to purchase a Porsche Boxster and collecting it, as I had a couple of upgrades done to the vehicle, Will kept in regular contact with me during the process and talked me through everything I needed to know when I collected the car.
Mortimers is a family business and one that truly cares about their customers. I can’t recommend them highly enough - and I totally love my new Porsche!

I can’t speak highly enough of Mortimers. We travelled from North Wales to buy our Boxter and loved it so much we went back this August to buy a Macan. Well worth the journeys, wouldn’t go anywhere else. We’ve had no problems at all with either of the Porsches, both immaculate. The excellent service doesn’t stop after purchase though! For Jules and I buying our first Porsche has been a long process visiting many dealers and professionals alike for advice, checking reviews online and asking fellow petrolheads but when it came down to it buying our first 2009 Porsche Boxster S has been an absolute pleasure from Mortimers of Billingshurst. Will and his team have been helpful every step of the way with patience and care that has made the whole process easy and painless. Our car is beautiful in Meteor Grey and is a stunning car to drive with performance and exhaust note an absolute dream. They helped immensely with a small paint imperfection with no issues and with 100% commitment and made us feel like we were their only customer. I have recently bought a 987.2 Cayman S from Matt and Will at Mortimers. I can honestly say that they have been the best dealer I have ever purchased from. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for the marque is obvious. Purchasing during lockdown restrictions and being quite a long way away meant that I couldn't view the car prior to purchase but Matt kindly did an honest video walk round and answered my daft questions with professionalism. Recently brought a Boxster 987.2 from Mortimers - excellent service all round. Will explained the lockdown purchasing process to me and when we went to collect my Porsche (a week earlier than expected!), he explained everything about the warranty, finance etc in detail, showed us round the car, explained all the knobs and levers and off we went. I’ve just bought a 987 Boxster S from Mortimers and couldn’t be happier. Matt and Will truly are passionate about this magnificent marque and are inspirational. They go way beyond and above any car salesmen I have ever met (I used to work in the motor trade so have met many). Actually, I think to refer to them as salesmen is erroneous. They have a product they love and they share it with you. They offer time to consider your choices, knowledge to help you make an informed decision and once you have made up your mind, they ensure that your product is the absolute best it can be.

We found the car online ,However we live in south lakes so it was going to be difficult to view,However will took a good long video of the car explaining and honestly showing any imperfections which was really helpful
After seeing the video I paid a deposit and the rest is history.
When we got to site to view and pick up the car I was very pleasantly surprised as the car was exactly as described (if not better)
Will and Matt are very nice gentlemen, and go far beyond to make sure you are happy with your car (before and after the sale) They have been great throughout the experience
My wife and I cant recommend Mortimers prestige enough for there knowledge of the Porsche Car and They made it a delightful exciting experience all around.

An excellent company to deal with, I have just collected a 911 c4s them. Due to the current situation the purchase has taken longer than usual,not helped by me living in Scotland. Dealing with Matt has been a pleasure, the car was exactly as described and ran faultlessly on the 400 + miles home. If looking for a Porsche in the future Mortimers will be my first specialist to go to. I would like to thank Matt for his professionalism and patience. I would recommend anyone looking for a preowned Porsche to contact them. It’s not often that buying a use car is such a pleasurable experience.

Just wanted to write our experience, we have yet to collect our car, have dealt with Will who has had to put up with an awful lot, we live in France due to virus UK travel restrictions its been real problem, we wanted to change our TVE to Boxster, what a nightmare we tried lots companies in UK most were pain we tried over six months, think we were asking for the moon, many just did not reply to calls email till we found poor Will he called us back explianed car we looked at was not available, listed to what we wanted, eventually saw car we liked, as we were in France he went that extra mile, videoed car talked us through it good points bad points, we agreed then pain, poor Will thought that was the end till we saw another car on the site, at first it had gone, but too his word he promised if the guy did not come Back he would call us, he did again he videoed the car even though we said we trusted him, this time we have done final deal, unlike other companies when we said we were in France needed COC they said they could not help Will sorted, we not collected car however pre delivery sales attention to customer care is absolutely fantastic, those looking for used Porsche take it from me forget other companies they from our experiance just do not care if you need that extra care just go to Mortimer prestiege cars

Having recently purchased a Porsche Boxster 987 S from Mortimers in Billingshurst, West Sussex, who specialise in used Porsches, especially Boxsters, Caymans & 911s, I felt compelled to write about my experience & now having had to call on them for some aftercare, I believe I've had the full experience.

I'm absolutely delighted to say that from start to finish, I dealt with the loveliest Used Car Salesman I've ever had the pleasure of meeting & buying a used car from.

Matt who is a partner in the business, made the whole buying experience that extra special for me, especially as this was my first venture into the Porsche world. He was extremely patient, answering my many questions, allowing me to scrutinise the car & its service records in detail & even letting me take the car for a test run on an open road whereby I was able to really open up the throttle & ensure the car responded as it should & my word, it did amazingly for a used car of this age.

In fact, because I was so concerned with spending this amount of money, I brought a friend along as he already owned a similar model thus bringing his experience & another set of eyes. Being quite a critical guy, I was delighted to find that he was unable to find anything wrong with the car, so the result being after 2-3 very long hours, Matt always being very attentive & polite, I decided to purchase the car much to Matt's relief & delight I'm sure, probably feeling that he deserved nothing less after my interrogation, being a very fussy & particular guy.

What was really reassuring is that when they put the car through their own workshop for inspection, their mechanic wasn't happy with the rear brakes & so with all the other service items, which incidentally weren't due for at least another year, were all changed for good measure & good will because Mortimers like to ensure all cars are prepared to the highest mechanical & visual standards for their customers.

As Mortimers also have a fantastic stock of Porsches always onsite, amongst a few other prestige marques, it was like being in a very expensive adult's toyshop & as such, Matt humoured me while I walked around the showroom admiring his stock & he even gave me a cup of tea to really make me feel at home, making it even more of a special experience.

What struck my friend & I about all the cars there was the high quality of the used cars & it became evident very quickly that Mortimers have an eye for detail & choose only the best cars they can find to sell.

Since purchasing the car, I had a minor issue with some water ingress which isn't unusual on these cars, especially being a convertible & while it wasn't a quick or cheap job for Matt to agree to, he had my car back into his workshop without hesitation & resolved the issue by way of fitting a new genuine Porsche part - what more can you ask for from a used car dealer?

To end this review, which you can probably tell by now, I was blown away by the whole experience & sale, so all I can say is that I can't recommend Mortimers any more highly & if there was a Used Car Salesman who'd I'd consider as a lifelong friend, I have to say Matt would be it.
