Website stated it was in stock for click & collect. Went into shop told me it never was in stock and had to be ordered in, had to wait three days for some fishing bait that I needed urgently to come to my local store
Would not buy from again

Phil made it very easy and clear for me. His experience helped answer all my questions and made it easy for me to buy the right gear.

What fantastic service and knowledge! As we are new to walking and trekking, we went to Millets for a look at walking boots. What we came out with was a lot more knowledge, understanding, and a great pair of walking shoes and socks....who knew the importance of the right socks! The assistant Phil was wonderful, he took his time, asked us the questions he needed to make his recommendation. I cannot recommend Phil enough for anyone who is purchasing shoes or boots. He is an expert in his field and we will no longer be visiting any other shops...there is no need!

Took my daughter into Millets in Hastings after school to get her kitted out with boots for her DofE, and we genuinely had no idea where to start.

Phil stepped in and made the whole process easy. He carefully measured her feet (and double checked to be sure), talked us through the different options, and gave her some really useful advice on how to lace and wear the boots properly – which will make a big difference once she’s out walking.

Great service, friendly approach, and you can tell he knows his stuff.

I was looking for a good but not too expensive pair of walking boots & asked Ethan for some help. He was knowledgeable about the products & honest with his recommendations. I found the perfect pair for my trip up Ben Nevis & also got a very comfortable pair of hiking trousers. Ethan was brilliant from start to finish & I couldn’t be happier with my purchases.

We visited as I was looking for some new dog walking boots.
Harry was super informative and knew which makes / materials suited my needs best, and, despite being very particular with shoes, I found my perfect boots on first try!

I needed some walking boots, so visited your store in Hastings. After looking at the selection for a while, Harry came over and asked if I needed any assistance. I said I did, and he gave good impartial advice and helped me choose the the pair I bought. Which are great!

We had such a fantastic experience shopping for our hiking gear thanks to Phil and Harry. From the moment we walked in, they were friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. They really took the time to understand what each of us needed, making sure both the boots and backpacks were the perfect fit for our upcoming hikes.

Phil was probably the most helpful and informative salesman I have ever come across, when I went to buy a pair of walking boots today. He must have given me nearly an hour of his time, making sure that the boots suited my requirements & were a good fit. Popped in to millets at Hastings to buy my son a rucksack for his duke of Edinburgh award hiking trip. Phill the manager, was so helpful and gave us such good advice. He made sure we purchased the right rucksack, he even took the time to make sure it fitted our son correctly. His customer service was second to none! A shining example of an amazing employee. I went into the store today to look at purchasing new walking socks and also a new pair of walking boots. Phil was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He spent lots of time with me trying on different boots, recommending certain styles to suit my foot shape and also talked me through different sock types. Thank you for all your help Phil.
