Extremely poor service !
Food was lovely
Dirty tables poor customer service long wait for food to come out.
I have been to the Camden branch quite a few times before and I will not come back.
The restaurant was empty not even busy and service extremely poor . 3 staff on the floor and dirty tables left. The branch has definitely gone down hill.

"I have booked for special occasion early and asked for a window sit - we didn't get that ! First disappointment. The menu at 2pm not enough choice as they changed kitchen two weeks ago apparently everything on main course has coconut oil which I'm allergic to. Took over 30 min for stuff to try and accommodate a burger for me Which was good - but the Menu has no variety everything seem to be to much Korean or Chinese? If I wanted chinese I'll go to chinese or Korean restaurant.
On top of that we got charged £25.20 more on card payment for food we didn’t order and couldn’t get refund back on the card. Their policy ! They asked me to write email address and HR will refund it in few days time..?? Really and how do they know my PIN number to do that !
Just totally unprofessional. we where crammed in the corridor between other tables- no space and very noisy - if you allergic to coconut oil do a U Turn !
The stuff helped best they can - in the end they gave as £25.20 cash back - after we said we are not leaving until we get refund now.
They wanted to pay £22 back but remember they charge 12.5% service

MIldreds, Covent Garden
The service we received was blatantly discriminatory and completely unacceptable. The servers made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable from the moment we sat down. Despite seeing other tables with white customers receiving attentive and friendly service, we were ignored. We were never offered water, never checked on, and our food was carelessly dumped on the table all at once. We even had to ask for basic necessities like napkins and cutlery. This level of treatment was disrespectful and deeply disappointing, and no customer should be made to feel this way.

I took a non-vegan companion with me to try out this vegan restaurant, so that we could eat before our showing at Troubadour Theatre (which was conveniently right next door)
We both had a 2 course meal and were delighted with the courses provided. The desserts especially are to DIE FOR! We actually shared each others desserts so that we could both get a good taste. (White chocolate tiramisu and sticky toffee pudding- I recommend both!).
As for drink, Mildred's even had my favourite plant based milk (Sproud) which hasn't been available anywhere when I eat/drink out so I was extremely pleased about having that with my breakfast tea.
The staff were very polite, lovely to speak to, quick to help with any queries and deserving of their tips. I would certainly come here again!

Food was good, but woman serving us was snappy, bordering on aggressive all night. I've been going there on and off for twenty years, but it will be less often now. There ARE alternatives. It has definitely lost its former positive vibe.

We ordered 4 delicious courses, amongst which we struggled to decide which was the best - they were all great! The service was friendly and professional - especially from Sisam. Will definitely go again!

Unsmiling waitress greeted us with 'you have this table booked for 1.5 hour. Then we waited long for the orders to be taken, and waited longer for the food, so 40 minutes out of our allocated 90 minutes passed before we could start eating. I noticed that my companion, who had the same dish as me, had a small bowl with humus, and it was missing on my plate. I told the waitress and got the humus, but there was no word of apology. Then my tea was forgotten about and I had to grab the waitress's attention to remind. Couple at the next table had to ask for cranberry sauce that was on the menu but wasn't served. My impression was that that the restaurant was understaffed and the staff was stressed and undertrained. I'm blaming the management.

Came here to Camden with my son for a ‘Taster menu’ lunch @ £25 each. One of the starter courses was Hummus and we were given a slice of pitta bread cut in half to share and dip into a decent sized bowl of it. We asked for an extra slice to finish it off and were charged an extra £3.80 on top of our bill. THIS WAS OUTRAGEOUS! I did question it and our waitress response was that this was the cost! I didn’t want to spoil our experience by explaining my thoughts, but needless to say WILL NOT BE RETURNING! Either give enough pitta to finish the course, or reduce the amount of hummus!
Shame as I’d rather be on here giving a 5/5 experience, but sadly overcharging will not allow you this.

I've been a fan of Mildreds restaurants for years, visiting the original site in Soho 30 odd years ago. I still enjoy their restaurants but their take aways are a different matter.
We started to order their take aways in 2020 or 2021, for obvious reasons. Portions were often a little small and prices high but quality was fine. Over time prices have increased, quantity fallen and increasing they've become unpleasant to eat. Tonight we tried shahi cabbage korma, pleased to see something new. That, a burger and dirty chips were all cold and unpleasant to eat. Threw most of this away and won't order again.

Mildred’s in Victoria was fine, staff good…but £5.05 for a tea is too much. Hotel across the road is less than £4
and Nero’s less than £3. If Mildred’s bring their price in line with others nearby then won’t avoid it when I want a tea.

We had dinner on Saturday evening and had the best time. The food was scrumptious and our waitress, Freya was fantastic. She was polite, thoughtful and did her utmost to cater to our dietary requirements and preferences.

My partner and I ate at the Mildreds at Covent Garden’s and were predominantly served by Kate, who was extremely helpful and kind throughout our whole stay. The food was brilliant and especially the chocolate ganache cake dessert was delicious, you wouldn’t believe that it was all plant based. A great spot for anyone to eat when in central, I would definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful experience and meal at Mildred’s Victoria. Loved the atmosphere, excellent service and really tasty vegan food! The menu had great choices: spoilt for choice! Loos were lovely ☺️! Although we were early after a theatre performance, we were still welcomed warmly and the waiting staff all came out singing “Happy Birthday” 🎈 to my daughter with her sticky toffee pudding & candle on top with no prompting as she was carrying a happy birthday gift bag! So sweet and friendly all of them. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and definitely recommend it to anyone to impress them with vegan food: especially the tiramisu!

The white wine was warm. The tikka bun burger was dry with a few tired salad leaves. It needed much more robust accompaniment. Very disappointing. Michael

The new Victoria Mildreds proved first class. Service could not be bettered, the food imaginative and in decent portions. My friend was no vegan but it didnt matter the food tasted so good. We are used to paying far more for this quality of food. The star turn was Chocolate ganache layer cake.

We visited Mildreds at King’s Cross and had a lovely time. Tasty food and friendly service. An extra thank you to Suzanne for the great service!

We had the most delicious food today, i had the curry and my son had the dan dan noodles and we both shared the dishes as we wanted to try both. Portion sizes are very generous and visually both dishes looked amazing.
We had a small issue as 2 of the waiting staff collided next to my son and dropped a whole curry over him covering him from shoulder to foot. They were very apologetic and found him a restaurant branded tee shirt and sweatshirt to wear as his clothes were soaked in curry. They also provided an email address to send a dry cleaning bill to and when we went to pay, they had covered the entire meal themselves. It was a generous gesture and we appreciated it greatly. It did not spoil our experience and i look forward to returning another time.

Such delicious food with so many flavors and textures. My friend an I had a wonderful lunch to celebrate our birthdays at Mildred's in Kings Cross. Strongly recommend this place. They have lovely drinks and cocktails also. The staff are so friendly. A big thank you to Antonio for making our experience even greater. The chocolate cake was amazing.

Exemplary service, gorgeous food, wonderful, joyful atmosphere, an array of beautiful cocktails and other drinks. What’s not to love?! We loved our dinner here at Mildred’s Kings Cross! Of the 5 of us diners, 4 weren’t vegetarian or vegan, so it just goes to show that this is beautiful food for everyone to enjoy. The buns are to die for, served hot and fresh, bursting with zingy, spicy flavour. Gorgeous! And the desserts are luscious!
Service with an absolute smile, warm and vibrant atmosphere, great location (close to the station). We’re Londoners spread across town and it’s the perfect spot to meet in. Can’t wait to come back!
