I got a very reasonable rate for my house insurance from McCarthy Insurance Group some years back when I was struggling to get insurance due to my %flat roof. I have been with them since and am very happy with the service they provide in Macroom. Marie in particular has been very helpful.

I had a terrible experience with McCarthy Insurance Cork, namely due to the way I was treated by my advisor.

From day one, I found her to be rude, dismissive and to have a consistently bad attitude. Every interaction and piece of correspondence was difficult, and I genuinely dreaded having to make enquiries because I knew I would be met with a very snappy and unhelpful response, as well as her own personal opinions on my business rather than a professional response.

I have never experienced this level of poor customer service from an insurance company before. Ultimately, the experience was so negative that I decided not to renew my business insurance for another year, solely because of my experience with this particular advisor.

I would expect a much more professional and courteous standard of customer service when dealing with a business insurance provider.

I was dealing with Rachel the first time for a quick query regarding my policy and a few days later with a major issue and she was utterly fabulous, what an incredible worker. She is thorough and answers every question to a high standard.

I rang McCarthy Insurance looking for a quote for house insurance .I spoke with Richard, he was so helpful.Explained everything clearly, answered all my questions. If I could give any advice my advice would be asked for Richard he went above and beyond to help me.

We are relocating to Ireland from overseas and Alan was a tremendous help in explaining the different coverage options so we could make a choice we felt good about. Alan was very thorough and very patient with all of our questions. I would highly recommend his and the McCarthy Insurance Group services.

MIG have always been my go to insurance broker. They have consistently worked to find the best quotes and cover. In particular Denise McSweeney in the rathmore branch has always been particularly helpful and professional. Denise is very quick with response to any questions and always has a positive attitude.

I have been dealing with this Co for years, both for personal and business reasons, and have found them extreemly efficient and helpful.
Staff have always been good to explain the product in plain terms, both staff in the pase and the present personel.

Once again Kate in the Newcastle West office was brilliant.Efficient, courteous and lovely as always. Great service, great broker.

I recently moved back to Ireland and Alan from McCarthy was brilliant at sorting out health insurance for my family. He was responsive, very efficient and knowledgeable. A variety of options were sourced and once we had picked the best for us, he quickly dealt with the admin to get us up and running. We also used McCarthy for our house and car insurance and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I moved to MIG last year for both Home and Motor Insurance. The advice given was quick, clear and exactly what I needed. And extremely competitive!
What stands out with MIG, however, was how they looked after me when I had a little tip in the car during the year - the first accident I ever had. They were professional, supportive and extremely knowledgeable. But what I appreciated most was that they were kind and humane on the day.
When I was having trouble getting the insurance company to move on approving the repairs I contacted MIG again and it was all sorted the next day!

Hannah went above and beyond the call of duty to help with our car insurance needs. Incredible service. We have found the same to be true of Cian in the past - beyond helpful at all times and the whole McCarthy insurance team - we are with them for many, many years and could not have gotten better service.

Changing Health Insurance provider can be very challenging. Alan did a thorough review of what we required and presented the alternatives in a clear manner. He pointed out all the differences from the previous policy provider. He was professional, informative and reassuring in all our communications.
