Need a small crosshead screwdriver to change the batteries. Sound not as expected but make plenty of noise.More a toy than an aid to learning to drum, good for a child to drive you mad. Clever but not what I expected may have disappointed someone.
Fun gift for the budding drummer
The product is great and an awesome gift for a friend.

Advertised as a gift for men, they are something with which even a child would be disappointed. Poor construction and sound reproduction quality. Complete waste of money. Returned 9 days ago and waiting for a refund.
