I love the meat hampers but now they've gone up in price twice by £10 a time in a year I'm struggling to pay for them, which is a shame as I love them but now at £70 getting a bit dear 😢😢.

Fresh Meat
When we began our Meat in the Box journey, we soon decided that we wanted to provide a fresh meat delivery service. It just made the most sense to us and gives our customers the flexibility they deserve. It takes a little extra care and attention on our part but it’s definitely worth it to hear from our satisfied customers.
Certain items may be frozen due to availability, supply and demand, but we avoid this wherever possible.
Is Meat in the Box for me?
We set out to make ordering meat online as simple and as cost-effective as possible. So we initially decided on a ‘one box fits all’ approach. In short, we devised a broad selection of items that our customers can choose from to create their bespoke meat selection box. Like chicken? Then fill your box with all the poultry goodness we offer. Or if you’re a steak connoisseur, you can get your fix of British steak in your next order.
However, from customer feedback, even more flexibility was desired. That’s why we offer all of our products individually too.
Next Day Delivery
A key part of solving the meat delivery problem is ensuring that your items get to you as swiftly and as fresh as possible.
Therefore, we only provide a 24-hour courier service.
Stay Cool Packaging
Our specially designed packaging helps to regulate temperature so you can rest assured that your items are kept fresh for up to 48 hours. Each meat item is vacuum sealed for freshness, ideal for popping straight into the freezer!
In addition, our outer packaging and insulation are 100% recyclable.

Really good service and good value too. Quality meat. The only downside is a lot of packaging to dispose of.

Sirloin steaks
We have ordered a few times and been very happy with the quality of the meat and reliable delivery service. Our only disappointment is with the sirloin steak when it is on offer, it has been very fatty and chewy and not cut as a sirloin steak should be, we first purchased them at full price and they were beautiful. Don’t know if when they are on offer it is the end part of sirloin and not as good, we will not be buying the offer ones again.

All looks nice and fresh.
This is my first meat Box order and it arrived on the promised date in a well insulated box and the meat all looks good and nice and fresh. Have yet to taste it but. Compared to another on-line meat supplier it is better value for money, so provided the meat tastes good it will be my meat supplier in future.

Food was not delivered on the designated date and frozen produce was thawd was told delivery was delayed no reason given will not be buying from this company again until they use a reliable courier

I complained about meat which was tough…
I complained about meat which was tough and was sent a total refund without question.
That is excellent service.
The rest of my order was delicious as usual and I will continue to purchase meat here

Beef not great
Meat looked fine, delivery fine ordering process totally fine overall thought was great
Cooked a beef joint in the oven was tough as boots thought maybe just me
Had beef in slow cooker for a stew all day
Again tough and chewy should have fell apart
Tried the 2 sirloin steaks again tough and chewy, we followed their own instructions on how best to cook and attempted to go for medium/rare which seemed to work however just was full of fat and chewy again
Not sure if we've just had bad batch or what but all the beef we've had joints,steaks and braising has been terrible close to unedible
Chicken was fine but I guess that's chicken !

Over priced item
I ordered my box and was surprised when I opened it, the lamb was priced at £14.99 and the piece I got was only £9.99 £5 less than I paid as you can imagine I wasn’t very happy, I told them but still no reply or refund 🤬
