I am currently 17 days post-op after a breast augmentation and a lift.

From the beginning the experience with Maya Medical was clear and smooth. After asking initial questions and sending pre-op pictures, I was matched with a surgeon who's skills set matched with my needs. I was never pressured or forced into booking the surgery, quite the opposite- I was told to take my time and think it though. After making my decision and paying a deposit, I had a surgery date confirmed! Everything else such as airport pick up/ extra night at the hotel and anything else I needed was organised promptly. I could reach out with any questions I had at any time through WhatsApp.

When it got closer to my surgery date I was passed on to a patient coordinator, who in my case, was Zehra. She was very sweet and thoughtful throughout the entire experience. After being picked up from the airport we went straight to the hospital (to do some tests) where Zehra was waiting for me and since that moment onwards, she has been present at every appointment/ check up at the hospital and kept in touch with me through WhatsApp at all times to see how I feel and if I need anything.

The surgeon himself- Dr. Erkan Yüce has truly exceeded my expectations. The incisions are smaller than I was expecting them to be and he has honestly put a lot of work into making sure that my breasts fit my body and don't cause me harm in the future. I trusted him fully to choose the implant size as well as the placement and he has managed to transform my tubular size B into a nice D. It's still very early after the surgery, however I can not wait to see what they look like fully healed, dropped and fluffed.

The hospital that I stayed in was very modern and clean. My room was specious and had a private en-suite. Special thank you to all of the nurses working during my stay! All of them were wonderful and kept checking up on me every 3-4 hours administering pain-killers and checking my vitals.

As to post-op care, nurse Havva has been amazing. After being released from the hospital, she has messaged me describing what every medicine that I was given is for and when should I take them as well as letting me know she will be coming over the next day. During her visit I felt very comfortable and at ease. She has changed the dressings for me and answered any questions I had. She visited me more than once at the hotel and every time she was great and highly appreciated. We are still in touch and Havva still messages me frequently asking for picture updates and giving me directions on what products to use, when to take dressings off etc.

Overall, this is a trustworthy company to use who make this whole (usually complicated) experience as easy and stress-free for you as possible. I still advise to do your own research on the surgeon that you are paired with, to build your own opinion, however I truly believe that the staff at Maya Medical have your best interest at heart. I heard lots of great reviews about Maya medical so I made a decision to go with them, and I’m so happy that I did , amazing communication, my questions were always answered , my mind was always put at ease , and I was very well cared for. Even after surgery when I’m home now nurse is always on the phone if I need anything. Honestly can’t recommend enough this company , the best experience I have ever had. Would definitely choose them again ;)

I can not recommend maya medical enough, they have been amazing all the way through. Ive had a breast augmentation and was so nervous about the surgery especially flying out to another country, but they make you feel so relaxed and at ease, the transfers are very smart, the hotel is amazing, the hospital is extremely clean and the nurses are always checking in. Nurse Hava and Dr tuna turkmen have been outstanding, I’m so pleased with my care here. I will definitely be using them again some point in the future!

I went to Maya in August for a breast lift and augmentation. My experience was wonderful.

Naturally I was extremely nervous going away (on my own) however once at my hotel those nerves disappeared. I was picked up in the morning along with another girl from the UK and we were taken together up the hospital where we had out pre op checks. Everything was explained to me and I met Dr Turkman who immediately put me at ease. Having had my mind set on what CC I wanted I ‘thankfully’ took Dr Turkmans advice and went smaller (please listen to him). I personally went into this thinking I wouldn’t be in a lot of pain but I was in ALOT of pain (I don’t think this is spoken about enough on social media) however the nurses kept on top of my pain relief. The next day Dr Turkman came to see me and once again reassured me the pain was completely normal.

On day 2 I went back to the hotel (which was incredible by the way) and was ready for a few days of recovery. Havva (Mayas wound specialist) came to see me everyday to dress my wounds and keep me sane! I was in an incredible amount of pain over the next few days and again was very worried but Havva explained in details why this was and was forever putting me at ease whether that be when she came to see me or over a message! She went above and beyond for me there.

When I returned home I was inundated with messages from Maya on my recovery. My recovery seemed to take some time but I spoke with Maya/Havva most days about how I was getting on and what I needed to do to speed up the recovery. I’m nearly 5 weeks post op and I still speak Havva. Dr Turkman was also on hand for a video call when I requested. I am over the moon with my results and can not recommend enough - I’m already itching for more!

Some tips though from me that you won’t see on social media videos

- I personally wish I had taken someone with me.
- expect pain (I had a lot).
- don’t expect to be up and about travelling, you won’t be however the hotel has everything you need and more (I had a wash and blow dry a few days after my surgery)
- download the Turkish version of Uber eats. Hospital food is what you expect it to be just like it is in the UK and you don’t necessarily go to the hospital on the website - I didn’t.
- you have a fridge in your hospital so pop to the garage next to the hotel and buy snacks to put in
- buy an extra sports bra with Maya (my nipples oozed)
- listen to your surgeon and their recommendations.
- Google translate also helps (not everyone speaks good English - we are in Turkey after all)
- if you can fly into Istanbul ( I flew to another one, it was a lot cheaper though)

I’m 9 days post breast lifting with implants surgery and I’m so happy with my results so far, I’m glad that I’ve chosen Maya Medical
from start to finish the team were really great.
Dilara was great and answered all my questions, Zehra was really amazing and helpful she was in all my appointment helping and make me feel really well. I’m so glad that I had Doctor Tuna Turkmen as my surgeon he made me feel really safe since I meet him because I was so scared to have this surgery. The procedure itself went really well and my results are amazing.
My wonderful nurse Havva she is so caring, she treated me really well and made me feel better every day that she came and checked on me even now I’m back to my home she still check on me and help me out.

In General I would 100% recommend Maya Clinic and Doctor Tuna Turkmen the team are well organised from start to end they made me feel safe, the hotel where I stayed and all process was 5star.

I would highly recommend Maya Medical. The team are highly professional and very informative ensuring you are comfortable and content along every step of the way! I was instantly at ease from first enquiring to now being almost 3 weeks post op from a breast uplift and implants. My operation couldn’t have went any smoother and my results are even better! All thanks to the team at Maya Medical, Dr Turkmen, Nurse Havva and translator Yagmur.

Everyone has been very helpful from start to finish. Communication has been 10 out of 10. Zehra is very friendly and helpful and makes you feel comfortable throughout. Dr Turkmen is also so friendly and takes time to talk through everything before and after the procedure.

Maya have been amazing, i love how straightforward they are, and i tell my friends to book with Maya all the time. I had a mini tummy tuck, 360 vaserlipo and a 2pack in July 2023, and im currently 7 weeks post op. My first consultation was via whatsapp, i sent 4 photos, and Maya responded with my quote. It included having someone come and stay with me at the hotel and hospital (whether someone came or not) so i brought my sister. The rep was in contact with me from UK to Turkey to UK, she was very attentive, helpful, supportive and guided us every step of the full journey. We met at the hospital on the day we landed in Turkey, done some tests, then she came with us to check us in to the hotel, and arranged all our transport between airport, hotel and hospital (included in the price).
My surgeon was also amazing, made me feel relaxed during our face to face consultation, and he seemed excited to work on me.
I cannot fault the hospital staff, and the aftercare; again everyone was attentive and supportive. I was provided with a great team who checked on me every 2 hours since surgery while in hospital, then a private nurse visited me daily at the hotel, and made sure i was comfortable every time. The hotel was lovely too.
I am blown away by my results already, and even my UK massage therapists comment on how thin my scar is, and how my shape looks like i had a BBL! My stomach is so effortlessly flat, i love it! The same Nurse i had at the hotel continues to advise and support me via whatsapp, i am so grateful for her. Thank you so much Maya and the Team xx

Im happy to say that Maya Medical did not disappoint.
I was a bit nervous and hesitant on going through with the surgery as this would’ve been my first one.
But they made sure to answer all my questions and made me feel like I was under good and professional care.

From the first day that I arrive I was taken care of by the amazing Zehra. She helped me with everything that I needed for the surgery and in addition gave me good tips on good places to go to in Istanbul.
Dr Tuna did an amazing job and I cant be more happy with the outcome.
Thanks to him I gain back the confidence that I lost over the years.
Havva also did an amazing job with the wound dressing and tips on what to do and not do for a faster recovery

Overall I highly recommend this clinic as they will not disappoint

Amazing! I had a whole team around me which was Dilara, she answered all of my questions and gave me the confidence to go for it. I then had my patient coordinator Zehra she was there every step of the way and even when not in person she was only a message away, could not of done it without her. I also had my own nurse
Havva that would come to my hotel with any meds I needed and check/change my dressings. Again always at the end of the phone even when I got back to the Uk. Dr Turkmen was the person who performed my uplift and reduction. He was so professional and gave me the results that exceeded my expectations. Amazing experience from start to finish. Absolutely love my new boobs!

I am so happy I chose to go with Maya Medical for my breast uplift surgery. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything went effortlessly and I felt so taken care of. I researched maya medical and sent them many many questions before I decided to go with them right from beginning they were very professional and helpful, I arrived in Istanbul after they sent me clear directions where I was going so already I felt relaxed, they arranged transfers from airport to hotel. The hotel was beautiful, clean and staff were lovely. Then I was picked up and taken to the hospital where I was met by my co-ordinator who is amazing at speaking English, she explained everything again and answered all of my questions, I then had all pre-op tests and then met my surgeon, who was very professional but also seemed like he really cared. I then went down to have a mommy makeover which included breast lift and implants, tummy tuck, muscle repair, lipo 360 and I also paid extra for chin liposuction. I was brought back to my room in the hospital where there was also a comfy pullout bed for my sister to sleep on, all meals were provided for me and my sister. The surgeon came straight up to see me told me all went well, however he had discovered I had a hernia which he removed for free because it would of coursed me problems in the future, he also showed me pictures of the surgery and the results. The nurses in the hospital didn't have great English but they had translators on their phones I could also message my co-ordinator and she would help. After 2 nights in the hospital , the surgeon checked me over for the 3rd time and discharged me I was transferred back to the hotel, then I had a nurse Havva she came out to see me everyday and gave me lymphatic drainage massages also I am very sensitive to medication so she changed it for me until she found the right one, she showered me and dressed me she was amazing. I suffered quite bad with nausea she went out of her way to go and get me more tablets so I was ok on the flight home. I went to see my surgeon the day before I left and him and all of his staff were just lovely and professional, I was sent home with extra antibiotics just incase I needed more, also scar cream and pads, the aftercare has been ongoing I am 2 weeks post op tomorrow and they have stayed in touch and answered all my concerns, I have to send them pictures and update them. I would highly recommend this company to anybody considering surgery, they really have been amazing from start to finish.

I have just arrived home in the UK after having my breast reduction and uplift with MAYA Medical. I am so happy with my results, my only regret is not doing it sooner. From the moment we landed in Istanbul to the minute we left we received top customer service. The hotel we stayed at (Hilton Double Tree) was beautiful, clean and the staff couldn’t do enough to help. We were provided with private transportation to and from the airport and all my appointments while in Istanbul free of charge. The team at MAYA were always on hand to answer any questions and provide support and advice when needed. Zehra was so helpful and escorted me to hospital on the day of my operation, got me settled in and also attended appointments with me. She was on hand via WhatsApp to make my stay as comfortable as possible. My surgeon DR Hasan Tuna Turkmen was professional and spoke great English, I am so pleased with my results he is great at what he does. The nurses in the hospital and the hospital itself was amazing. I myself am a nurse in Scotland and have some insight into infection control protocols and some procedures and can honestly say how great it was. The nurses were very knowledgeable, although they only speak some English, they communicated well and met all my needs. The hospital itself was clean and very modern. The nurse came to visit me daily in the hotel post op to review my wounds and complete wound care, she was super helpful and very attentive. All costs were covered under my procedure cost including both my hotel and hospital stay, transfers, medications and garments. I have came home with a big bag of medications in case I may need them in recovery also included in the price. This excellent Care does not stop when you arrive back to the UK which is reassuring, I have been asked to send progress pictures of my wounds and will be advised by the nurse when to start (if needed) any of the medications I have been sent home with. I honestly can’t recommend MAYA medical enough and would certainly use them again.

Maya medical what can I say. Professional and very helpful straight from my enquiry. I arrived in Istanbul and met my patient co-ordinator yagmur who was very lovely she was with me every step of the way and made me and my husband feel at ease and relaxed about the whole process. My surgeon Dr Turkmen was just out of this world. He listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that. You can tell he loves his job and is amazing at what he does. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr Turkmen. My recovery process was very good and havva my nurse was 10/10 she was there every day to help me, with my dressings, washing and even massages. I can't praise Dr. Turkmen enough. So kind and professional 💯 he does explain everything to you and listen carefully to your concern. His staff, especially Nurse Havva and Yagmur are always so helpful and kind. I had my breast augmentation on the 4th of July 2023 and even after I came back to UK, Havva does help me every single day. I can't thank enough for all the help. Just arrived home after a tummy tuck and inner thigh lift in turkey with maya medical. I’m amazed at the results and would recommend them to anyone . Dr Tuna is a 5 star surgeon and aftercare I received from nurse Havva was 100%. She even came to my hotel at 4am this morning to do an extra lymphatic massage for me to make my flight home more comfortable, which I thought was fantastic. She is the best nurse and Maya Medical are very lucky to have her working for them. when I go back for a breast uplift I know I’ll be looked after properly. she really is a wonderful, kind and very professional lady.

Could not recommend this company or surgeon anymore than I already have! In early February I Saw Dr Koray for a breast uplift and implants, lipo 360 and inner thigh and knee lipo and arm lipo and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He went above and beyond what I expected and I look amazing !

Not to mention my amazing nurse who visited me every day (Havva)! She helped me shower and get changed and changed all my dressings and gave me multiple massages. She went beyond what I expected and I’m so glad I had her to help me through it all as it was the worst pain I’ve ever been through in my life. Truly an amazing nurse !

I had over 8 litres of fat removed from me so as you could imagine I was not well and her humour got me through every day!

I am writing this review on my last day here in Istanbul and honestly cannot tell you how amazed I am by Maya Medical and all the team involved in my surgery procedure.

This was the first time I have ever had plastic surgery which was a breast uplift and implants with Dr TUNA TURKMEN. I came alone and I was very very sceptical and nervous to travel to a foreign country for such a big surgery.

From landing until now, the team involved work constantly around the clock to ensure you are looked after, your needs are met and genuinely care about your wellbeing. You are picked up very quickly at the airport in a luxury van and taken to your hotel ( mine was Marmara Sisli which is lovely and great for recovery ) Make sure you bring a laptop for Netflix unless you like reading...a lot.)

Yagmur the little sweetheart meets you for your pre-op tests and is honestly so friendly and chatty, her job is made for her and as i travelled alone she definitely made me feel welcome and at ease! The morning of the surgery I met with DR TUNA and his nurse who were also very friendly and explained everything in depth. I understood exactly what was going on and to be honest, it happens quite quickly, i personally, did not have time to panic. I think because the team are so relaxed it made me relax too.

The worst part is the pain when you wake up, but believe me when I say it is now day 5 and I cannot believe i am sat up in bed, able to MOVE and type hahah. I thought I would never see the day but i promise you it gets better!

Now to mention the aftercare from the amazing Havva. I promised to leave her a good review because she honestly puts her heart and soul into caring for patients. She is so experienced and talented at her work and is gentle and puts you at ease! I knew she probably thought I was a cry baby on day 1/2 but she was strict with me so that i would have the positive mind to heal and get stronger... and that i have :) ! She has all the medical equipment that she brings to your room and it makes it easier so you don't have to travel at all from clinic to clinic. The best nurse going!

I am ready to fly home tomorrow knowing it will be a long healing process but I am SO happy with the results and DR TUNA is amazing at his profession and has changed my life for the better.
