We have received very poor customer service from this company. Refused to replace faulty paints and had to pay for replacements

I have just ordered my 5th painting fro Masterpiece, the previous ones have been top quality and look great when completed. The brushes supplied are only basic so I always buy a better,finer set of brushes from Amazon.
As for the customer service I cannot really comment as I've never had an issue. Delivery can be tracked and the time to reach the UK is good. Overall a great product and the canvas comes in a roll not folded meaning no stubborn creases that are difficult to remove like other paintings I've had

Right from ordering to receipt the experience is smooth and secure.
I have been using this brand since before lockdown and have never been disappointed both with the quality and the service provided.

I am completely shocked by some of the posts I see here. Masterpiece By Numbers is in my opinion one of the best PBN sites available. What I find most fascinating is people’s responses to the customer support. I have contacted them several times over the last year and received nothing but polite extremely helpful responses.

Recently I ordered my first custom painting in all honesty it has not arrived yet, but it is very clear on their website that custom paintings can take 4 to 6 weeks. The two paintings I’ve done from their site are exactly as displayed. The colors match, the paints are far nicer than other companies I’ve tried. I can honestly say my results match exactly the images on their website. People saying they don’t either can’t match the numbers on the paint to what’s on the canvas, or as many state they tried mixing their own colors which is their own fault.

I can honestly say I will not in the future be using any other company. I should also mention that other than the custom painting I’ve received all shipments in 3 to 4 days. One I ordered as a gift was delivered in two days.

For me it’s more than the quality of the paint or canvas or even finished painting. It’s been the kind and caring responses from their customer service.

Masterpiece by numbers is a real class act, this is my second painting and I really enjoyed the experience and the joy off creating something so special, the quality of there product is second to none.

I’ve had multiple canvases from this company and not once have I been disappointed. I’ve ordered off their standard list of paintings and I’ve ordered their custom kits as well. One thing to remember if you do a custom kit the default is the basic kit meaning not loads of detail so if you are having a custom and say it’s of people I suggest you pay for the higher quality one and there for won’t be disappointed. The paints have NEVER come to me dry and they give you enough to do each painting. The canvas is of a fairly decent quality it doesn’t crinkle or crack all in all these are a fun past time hobby and the customer service has always been really good in my experience

I wish i had read these reviews before ordering from Masterpiecebynumbers. Made them aware that some of the paints supplied for Dragons Lair were in fact dry and could not be used. Had an e mail back telling me that extra paint was not available at present. I replied telling them that i did not want to order more paint and asking how they were going to rectify the problem of dry paint that had been supplied. Their response was that every kit supplied was quality inspected and it was unusual that all the paints were dry. At no point did i say that ALL paints were dry, but SOME of the paints were dry and could not be used. I was told that i had received the kits over one month ago and had possibly left the paints open. I said that they had shown their true colours and that i did not wish to receive any further e mails from them. I was instructed to unsubscribe and to Have A Nice Day. I have thrown the last three kits that i ordered unopened into the dustbin. Customer Care NIL

The choice of pictures and subjects. The quality and we like the 3 for 2 deals. The ease of ordering. The quick and reliable deliver. It's my wife who enjoys completing the pictures and she is always delighted with her results. She gets a lot of pleasure from painting your pictures, some are more challenging and she finds painting relaxing and de-stressing. She has completed quite a number now, and is in the middle of another 3 and I am sure there will be more to follow when these are finished.

All paintings can be recommended because they are all great quality and value for money

Not understanding the hype, the paint and canavas quality are not good. I gesso the canava 5 times, but it still not smooth, color isn't blending in. Kinda disappointed

I've had 9 paintings and 5 custom paintings from MBN and everyone is excellent and very enjoyable to make. I do suggest to anyone buying a painting from MBN to always get 2 sets of paint which in my humble opinion allows you to produce nice "thick" painted areas. I highly recommend MBN's products...enjoy.

My dad has done more than 30 of these paintings.
Thr most recent one has a colour missing.
The company have refused to send the missing colour.
That’s how they treat customers.

I sent in a photo to be made into a painting of my husband and one of our grandsons. I wish I could attach a picture to this review. There is absolutely NO color accuracy to this painting! There was a light above the table that they were sitting at in the picture. Our grandson has a very fair complexion with very blonde hair. The small picture that MasterpiecebyNumbers sends back with the painting was pretty spot on. The painting itself is horrid - even ghoulish! My grandson's face has dark oranges and a pinkish purple in it - at that point I stopped painting his face. OBTW, my husband's face has plenty of dark orange on it as well. I emailed them and told them according to the small pic they sent back to me, the paints in the painting were way off. Their response - "The paint colors for your kit are correct. We use a computer program to make our custom kits." They claim that "in the photo submitted, there is significant shadowing going across both faces. This would make the paint colors much darker, since the shadowing makes the skin tones much darker." (This is simply NOT the case - there is very minimal shadowing.) Oh, and did I mention the rug? There are a couple of different shades of blue in the rug. Correct on the small pic, but totally wrong in the painting - that purple, pink color showed up on the rug as well. So, after much thought, I'm going to have to try and fix the problems that PBN created. I guess their machines are perfect, so they claim, but in reality those machines need recalibration, they're just not willing to admit it and I'm out $50.00+.

I just cannot believe that they thought the colors were right! I've been redoing, using older paints, etc. It has been taking considerable time. A plug for one of the other companies that I have used - BestPaintByNumber - they're definitely not the fastest in mailing your canvas to you, they don't always answer the phone on a timely fashion, or even send emails to you in a timely fashion. But they DID do the right thing, when I pointed out that their colors were off and that my daughter's retriever was a Golden, as in yellowish tones, not browns and greens. They recalibrated their machines and sent me a brand new canvas - it turned out great!!!!

Now, I ask - why can't PNB do the same thing? I will NOT be purchasing another product from them again.

While I have not completed this painting, I am becoming more upset and discontent by the day because of the difference in what the colors should be and what the colors actually look like on the painting. Things that are supposed to be brown are somehow red, and things that are supposed to be tan are completely bright yellow. What is happening here and why have the colors been generated so poorly? They’re like night and day. Should also mention that there are multiple spaces that do not have a number in them, nor do they connect to another space, so you have absolutely no idea what you’re supposed to put in these slots, so you go to the original photo and are swiftly reminded that you’ll never figure that out because the color differences from the original photo to the actual photo are so entirely different. Please fix this for the next customer that orders this painting and spends $60+. I understand you cannot generate the color perfectly but please atleast get in the same ballpark of it, even just a little. The colors truly should not be this far off, and should somewhat flow together but unfortunately these just don’t. While I could leave a bad review for other reasons, that don’t have to do with colors, I figured I’d let what happen go, and move on BUT the more I paint this painting, the more I realize that you guys truly do need to fix this product. Hopefully this saves someone who has OCD like myself from purchasing this exact painting. Do better.

Also wanted to add that you should probably never reach out to customer service as they’re entirely rude, and will not ever help solve a problem. They’re a “the customer isn’t right” type of company. And if you use a promo code, and do reach out for assistance they’ll make sure to throw that in your face as well. Just overall save your money and avoid this company and use Canvas by Number or Craftoria.

Great company have had quite a,few painting by numbers and have not been disappointed by any of them. The paint has always been good upon receipt the only coverage problem is with white and that is the same for any white paint 🙄. Good delivery and always well packaged.

First class choices and make marvellous decoration around the house

I only get my VPN from them as they are really good canvas and good paints never had a problem with them
