Misrepresented product. False advitiser. Said a hand carved wood bird house and sent plastic crap.

I purchased what was stated to be a HAND-CARVED WOOD birdhouse from one piece of wood, the Amos's Hand-Carved Wood Spirit Birdhouse. It is PLASTIC, three pieces glued together. The promo states that they use a type of wood that birds enjoy building their homes in as opposed to plastic - what a lie! I contacted them to try to return and was told I could ship it to HONG KONG at my expense, even though it was sent to me from California! Otherwise they will give me a 10% refund. So, they will still be making money on the cheap product they sent. This is a very fraudulent and dishonest company!! If I could give minus stars I would!

ZERO stars! Like every other reviewer on this platform, I purchased this item and I was looking forward to having a lovingly crafted - wooden - home for our backyard birds. The item that I received was vastly different from the advertised product (as revealed in every review on this platform!). What arrived was a cheap, plastic-mold, product — a far cry from what the beautiful, hand-crafted item advertised. I filed a dispute with my credit card for the full amount, and was credited the full amount. I highly encourage everyone who was duped (like I was) into purchasing this to file a dispute and make this sham company pay back everyone they'd deceived.

If I could give a zero star review, I would. I was stupid enough to fall for the Amos birdhouse carve story, so I bought one. I got a cheap, plastic imitation without any way to hang it. When I complained, I was told that I could return it to China at my own expense.

Unfortunately, by then I had also succumbed to the Walt's hand-carved owl box tale. I tried to cancel the order, but they refused. I received the box - at least it was wood - but in pieces, no instructions, and not matching the description.

This place is a total ripoff, and I feel like an idiot.

Looks like I fell for the same false advertisement. There were no spelling errors that would have made me think it was a Chinese ripoff so, I purchased the bird house. They replied to my complaint email and told me to send it back to Hong Kong. Surprised I got that much. I disputed the charge with the credit card company and it goes into the recycling bin on Monday.

I ordered 2 American flags that were supposed to be carved from real wood and the stars were supposedly handcrafted individually. But this, just like the birdhouse that others have described, were like some type of resin boards or a hard Styrofoam. Definitely not wood, nor carved and most definitely not worth $39.99 each! Plus, I received them on 2 different days and the last one came broken! This company is built on fraudulent claims and dishonesty! They won't last long like that. But they have no morales, as long as they've been able to rob us! Do not order anything from this company!

I ordered an 18 inch hand quilted pillow cover of 3 alpacas. The picture looked like the animals were tufted and thus 3-D. What arrived was a flat pillow cover with no quilting or tufting! Was not what was advertised! Disappointed!

US flags are not made of real wood. 1 of 2 arrived broken. Total waste of time and money and scam. Do not buy!!

This would be less than 1 star - they blatantly lie and misrepresent their product! These are cheap, Chinese plastic molds - no wood involved. This is a total scam company!

I would give less that a one star if that was an option! This company falsely advertised a decent-sized, hand-carved wooden birdhouse from a single block of wood. However, what I received was a very small resin birdhouse that was broken into several pieces. It was supposedly made in North Carolina. I even received a "personal" text message from Amos. Ha! That was fake!
I contacted them at the email posted on the site and was informed that I could return the item, but at my expense, and it must go to Hong Kong! The refund policy says they will send a return shipping label, but that hasn't happened. They will happily refund 35% of my purchase price if I don't want to pay the outrageous shipping costs and keep the broken birdhouse. Additionally, the original charge came from Newark, Delaware.

DO NOT buy anything from this place! It is a scam. You are not going to get whatever handmade/handcarved item you think you are purchasing. They send some crappy molded plastic crap and will only offer you 25% refund or you can ship it to China. Again, complete GARBAGE!!! Do not buy from them

Website advertises hand made crafts by local artisans. The item I ordered was supposed to be hand carved from a single piece of wood. What I received was made of plastic held together with screws. When I asked for return instructions, you have to return the item to Hong Kong and pay shipping costs. Which costs more than I paid for the item. A total scam website. Avoid it.

I see I am not the only one to fall for this scam. Ordered what was claimed to be a hand carved solid wood bird house, and received a cheap plastic/resin fake. Tried to use the advertised 30 day no hassle return policy only to be told that I'd have to ship the junk they sent to Hong Kong at my own cost for a partial refund. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I learned my lesson.

Marlow Market Company, straight up false advertising. Plastic bird house recieved but advertised bird houses hand carved out of one solid block of wood. Return shipping must be paid by customer, grrrrrr. U.S. shipping to China would no doubt be more than the $39.95 the item cost. Lesson learned. 😡

This site advertises hand made items by artisans in the USA. I ordered an owl house, that was supposed to be made by a man in New York. What I received weeks later was a cheaply made box from China that did not match the description and had a chemical-smelling stain that would deter all wildlife. Such a SCAM!!! The return process is impossible to recoup what you paid because they want you to mail it back to China at your own expense.

Just received my genuine plastic, to look like hand carved, birdhouses. Have people no shame? Must be a Donald Trump enterprise.

I purchased two of the Hand Carved Back scratcher. They were a cheap plastic ugly product, nothing even remotely wooden let alone hand carved!
After many emails back and forth of them not taking any responsibility or explanation of the deceitful false product.
Stay far away from this company.

Marlow Market Co falsely advertised the "hand crafted from single-build wood" birdhouse made in NC U.S. which was, in fact, a poorly constructed plastic mold. Upon requesting a refund, they wanted the product shipped to Hong Kong at consumers expense or retain the product for a 25% refund. False Advertisement is a violation of the FTC Act punishable under 15USC54.

Bought a so called hand made bat house. Photos looks like it was huge. Old man standing next to a enormous bat house made from thick fallen wood. LIE!
When received it is made of cheep pine, light weight and definitely not worth 53 dollars. I am sure not even two bats could fit inside. Don't waste your finances.

I WAS SENT A CEAP PLASTIC AMOS'S BIRDHOUSE INSTEAD OF ONE MADE OF WOOD. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY DONT ANSWER ANY EMAILS AND MAKE RETURNS VERY DIFFICULT.
