Worst estate agent, whole company is full of scam (its mortgage advice, solicitor panel). They have taken advance payment of £399 for solicitor search and £798 for mortgage for my potential buy. Later the seller pulled from process and I have asked for refund, but they are not refunding my money. This is worst company in the UK to deal with property, mortgage, solicitor panel.

Horrible estate agent. Took money for referencing from more than 2 people to the value of £403. keeping your deosit because you failed reference. when confronted a lady at the Dartford branch called Holly, she denied referencing 2 people at a time. I accused her that this looks like a scam, why reference 2 people and then keep the money of the second person. I asked if they belong to an ombudsman or PRS, they voicemail my call since then. I can not get to speak with them on my mobile number. I had to use someone's number and they cut the phone off all the time. Ridiculous and they are nothing but a scam in Dartford branch. Shame on you Holly

Very good service overall. The team were professional, friendly, and efficient throughout the process. A mention to the manager, Jamie, who was extremely helpful, approachable, and always happy to answer questions and explain things clearly. Communication was good and any small delays were handled well. Overall, a very positive experience and I would recommend Mann Countrywide.

I called the Gosport branch and Amelie the lady I spoke to was very polite and helpful, answering all my questions.

Had a very pleasant experience selling a property with Mann and that was down to Ria Strugnell the Gillingham branch manager. Ria was always on hand to discuss the sale and was helpful and constructive in her advice. The fees were mid-range but with the service we felt that it was value for money. Would recommend if buying/selling in the North Kent area.

Thank you so much to Nick in the Sheerness branch for all his help and advice whilst we were moving. Nothing was too much trouble and he was always at the end of the phone to answer questions. Any issues that we had he reassured us and made us feel at ease. If I ever move again I would not hesistate to go back to him. Thank you again.

This company keeps spam calling me asking if i have any properties to sell or let. Literally calling me every day, I have blocked their number. Guy on the phone sounds like a road man too, not exactly a professional impression.

I recently viewed a property in fareham from the Locks Heath branch based on some nice photos advertised online. When I got to the property I was advised I would have to submit an offer form quickly as the previous viewer wanted to rent the property. Due to this and the current market, I very quickly viewed the property, didn’t see any clear or obvious issues, so submitted an offer form and was successful. When I moved into the property 2 weeks later, the paint was falling off the walls, there was thick black mould behind the kitchen sink, the toilet was broken, the boiler was broken (took 12 days to fix) , and a very clear and obvious damp problem throughout which had been hidden when I viewed the property. When the toilet was fixed, some tiles were broken and this showed thick black mould behind the toilet too. I have repeatedly requested I be allowed to wind back the tenancy agreement only to basically be told to piss off because I’ve signed a 12 month tenancy. Do not use Mann, they don’t give a damn about you.

I have to give a special shout out to Morgan, she’s been so brilliant at keeping me up to date with my flat purchase. I’m a first time buyer and she’s been so understanding and explains things perfectly if I’m unsure. I can’t thank her enough for sorting things out after the seller was dragging their feet!
She’s been a star with chasing and getting back to me with answers.

I predominantly dealt with Morgan at Mann estate agents whilst searching for a property. I cannot praise her highly enough. Out of all the estate agents I have dealt with over the years (there have been many) she is by far and away one of the most thoughtful and thorough. She went over and above to find properties that suited our needs or that could be turned into what we required. Although we didnt buy a house through Mann Countrywide, Morgan has been on hand to support us through buying a house via modern auction and to act as a sounding board for an impartial opinion on the process.

Morgan is always very knowledgeable about the property she is showing and will follow up on anything she doesn't know the answer to. She is engaging, friendly and enthusiastic about her work. Many estate agents I have dealt with have zero interest in you as customers or they try and give you the hard sell and bully you into making offers. They could all learn a lot about customer service and going the extra mile from Morgan. She is a platinum level asset to the company.

I used Mann Lettings when I was looking for a flat to rent in the Margate area. I use a wheelchair so I needed a flat with access. With the help of Andy from the Margate office I found a place!
Then Sue Sanders from the management team helped with the contracts and all the other problems with moving house. The whole experience has been easy and the team from Mann have made it easy and hassle free. On a scale of 1 to 5 I'd give the a 6 !

I was with Purple bricks which turned out to be a nightmare. So I switched to Mann to sell my property in Blockmakers Court, hoping for a professional sale and support. I was not getting much viewing. I decided to do a renovation in the property to help improve interest and viewing. I then requested for new photos of the newly renovated property to be taken.

Charlotte Stout, the acting branch manager for Mann – Chatham, told me they were struggling with photographers and will come over and take photos of my newly renovated property with her phone! She then uploaded the photos on the property selling websites.

What made this whole experience very sad and laughable was that she posted both the new and old photos to the different websites! The old photo of the front of the property was brown. The new photo of the front of the property after renovation was white. She left both photos on! I must have sent more than 5 different emails as well as phone calls, advising her to delete all old photos and leave new photos only as viewers will be confused looking at both the old and new photos. She claimed it was not easy to update the photos. It felt like l was teaching her how to do a simple job. The photos she took on her phone was dark and obviously not retouched – showing full photos of me and my kids on the wall.

After more back and forth emails on my part, she agreed to resend the “professional photographer” l was sent the first time. The photographer was rude, told me very rudely, “now get off the way” when l politely requested he take the photo of the front of the property from a different angle, so that the half cut down tree in the front of the property, will not block the photo. After the disrespect l got from this photographer, rather than update the newly taken photos online, he made a slideshow of the new photos he took, leaving the mixed old and new photos that Charlotte uploaded earlier online!

I was appalled by the whole experience. I reached out to charlotte and again requested for the new photos taken by the rude photographer, to be uploaded online to no avail. The photos were not even retouched. You can see the faces of myself and my children on the photos – online. The “professional photographer” admitted he does not retouch photos. They will normally send the photos out to an editor, who will edit and resend the photos back to them. So, why did you not send the photos out to an editor this time before posting the photos online?

I had one of their staff – a man, whose name l cannot remember now, come over and do the viewings. You can tell he does not enjoy his job. One of this people that shows up to work for the money. He flickers when viewers ask him simple questions. His responses were very cold, which was not helping to push the sell of my property.

I spoke to as well as emailed charlotte stout, the “acting branch manager for Mann Chatham”, that l will prefer a different person to conduct the viewings. She confirmed other clients have stated the same about the said staff member and agreed to send a different staff to conduct the viewings moving forward. Despite her promise, l had several viewings done by the same man!

After l was made to feel like a beggar rather than a client trying to sell on and move on, l decided to move on to Acorn – the best decision l ever made. I received not just an estate agent but support and people who not only sold my property but supported me throughout the entire selling process.

Acorn listened and tailored the entire process to my needs. Viewings were conducted by professionals, who explained and answered all the questions from the viewers – PROFESSIOANALLY. They took great photos of my property, l had several interests and my property sold with no issues.

I will never recommend Mann! No support. They don’t listen. I felt like a “beggar” throughout the entire time l was with Mann. A total waste of my time. I DO NOT AND WILL NEVER RECOMMENDED MANN. If you want professional estate agents who knows what they are doing, GO TO ACORN!

As a landlord I have been struggling for a while to find tenants for my flat and somebody recommend Paul Hughes at Lettings in Canterbury. I changed a few agencies and had no luck so was losing hope, but Paul has been incredible in how fast he found me excellent tenants and arranged everything for me. Polite manner, efficient, trustworthy, really nice bloke, totally recommend him.Thank you Paul.
