Went into the store got my ears pierced i noticed at about a month later that one of my ear piercing got infected and because ive wasnt giving the earring that i wanted as they said they didnt have them anymore but i noticed after someone esle asked for the same earring they got them out for her due to the wrong piercing the earring went straight through my piercing hole took me ages to try and push through so i can stop the infection staff should be more helpful and provide more professional assistance in knowledge and hospitality and not just out to take my money

Avoid!

Avoid!! I got my seconds pierced here in february, it is now october and they are still not healed. When i take the piercing out to clean, they bleed and other stuff comes out. The piercer used a gun that I doubt was sterilised, It was £22. Lobes are meant to be the easiest piercing yet lovisa made them my hardest. I have deicded to take them out and just let them close over, then hopefully get them repierced, but the infection will not stop. Please go to a trusted place or a proper piercer!!!! This is a cheap, unhygienic scam and everything about it is dodgy.

Would not recommend for piercing at…

Would not recommend for piercing at all. I had my cartlidge (around middle of my ear) pierced and she used a gun, have since have found out that that area shouldnt have been pierced with a gun only a needle which is obviously true as i have had to remove the piercing as it was so painful and wasnt healing at all even after 4+ months. Really disappointed and wouldnt want other people to spend their money here.

Really poor quality jewellery

Really poor quality jewellery. I was super excited to find a shop that had pretty flatback earrings of all designs for my many ear piercings. Yet sadly within a week of wearing them they have all gone green, stained my ears green and have lost all colour.
I purchased all (apparently as stated) gold plated and sterling silver or surgical steal
But clearly there are also mixed metals in them as they also irritated my ears and obviously shouldn’t discolour !

I wouldn’t be so fussed if it had happened after a couple of months but within a week!!

Terrible terrible quality items please don’t waste your money on this site.
I’ve learnt the hard way after spending nearly £100 and all of them are useless.

Customer care is quite appalling and they expect you to pay to have the items shipped and returned back to them (this is no problem if the items weren’t faulty) but they are - therefore lovisa should really be footing the bill and refunding the money !

Extremely poor quality jewellery

Extremely poor quality jewellery. I purchases 2 rope gold bracelets which was advised as beinf waterproof and does not change colour. Within a week they started to turn colour. The staff at the store was rude , contacted head office who was nice and reimbursed me. I went to exchange the one i had onky for it to change colour within a week. I just got my money back in the end Would never shop with Lovisa again

Avoid Avoid Avoid!

Couldn't agree more with the adverse reviews on here and just avoid this company. I placed an order with this company. They failed to deliver. After hours chasing they admitted the courier had failed to deliver the item. I managed to get documentary evidence it had been returned to the store from the courier. I was told my card would be recredited, this never happened. I was then told they had not been able to credit my card and requested bank account details to credit that. That never happened despite chasing several times. These people are common thieves, liars and should be closed down. Please do not order anything from them!

Boycott Lovisa!

Please DO NOT give this 'company' your money. The staff are vile, the products are awful and the returns policy is absurd. The 'customer service' is also no existent - they have a phone number but its clearly not monitored as you never actually get through (it hangs you up after 30 mins). I urge you to avoid this company at all costs.

Vile company - AVOID!!

Lovisa are liars, thieves and scammers.
The staff at the Solihull store were incredibly rude and aggressive, I've seen other reviews regarding this particular store/staff so it's not just me thinking it! I can't believe they are allowing this individual to be a manager - worst customer service I have ever experienced.
The jewellery is so tacky and ugly. Please DO NOT waste your money, they look nothing like the pictures online. I know they are cheap, but they should at least be somewhat similar to what they are advertising. I was shocked with what I received and for the price I paid.
The returns policy is completely absurd and the lack of information on the website is incredibly misleading. From start to finish I had an absolutely awful experience with this company and I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. I urge everyone to AVOID this horrendous excuse for a company and do not give them your money. I'm surprised they are still allowed to operate after all the bad reviews they have received. Again, I cannot stress enough, do not waste your time or money on this 'company'.

Customer service not answering

I cannot believe that I have still not received my parcel since last November and despite calling and requestion a refund on several times, I still have not been refunded. Luckily it was "only" £14 but that's not the point, it's just completely wrong. I used to love their earrings but never ordering again on their website, I will only buy the earrings in the shop and not even sure I would going forward.

Nothing more than scam merchants

Nothing more than scam merchants. Refusing to honour ticketed price on goods blaming a computer error. Charging 10% more than marked price on the item, ripping of my son who was buying Xmas gift for his mum.

This was the Hanley branch in the potteries shopping centre.

Would avoid at all costs

Liars taking advantage of consumers in Westfield London.

I visited Lovisa whilst christmas shopping with my (slightly elderly) mother who is hard of hearing on Thursday. Everywhere they are advertising 50% off for black friday. My mother went to pay for some seasonal christmas earrings and was totally ignored by the sales girl. She was struggling to use the contactless card reader due to all the rubbish around it and not being able to properly see it and the sales girl grabbed her card to tap it, and then offered a reciept by email. My mother asked for a hard copy and was refused - surely this is a breach of her rights? She didnt want to leave an email because of getting spammed by these companies once they have your details.

As we were walking out of the store, the transaction popped up on her phone to say £20 when it should have been £10. We turned around (having made it maybe 3 steps out of the store) and were told as we had no receipt we had no proof (this was 5 seconds after walking away from the same girl). When we challenged, the story was then "oh you cant return for hygiene reasons" (which i understand had this been even a few hours alter) and then it was "oh the offer is selected products only" which it said NOWHERE in the store except by the other till in the smallest writing (which they also agreed with).

We continued to challenge and her associate came over and the two of them became very aggressive, condescending and rude to my elderly mother. I work in retail, there was no need for their behaviour. I am appalled a company would infringe on consumer rights in this way, especially an elderly woman. Absolutely disgusting shall never be buying from Lovisa again. They should be ashamed

Customer Care Service

I recently ordered some goods from Lovisa and when I opened the package one of the earrings was broken. I sent an email to the customer care team at 1.30am Weds (yes I had a late night!) and later in the day at 9am I had received an email with delivery details of a replacement. I am so impressed with their customer service

THIEVING LAVISA LAKESIDE STORE

I was in Lakeside store to have ear piercing today, I think the lady manager (Asian in scarf) not professional. I told her need 2 pairs piercing she tried to sale me £31 with extra after sale treatment deal, I told her I don't need that and wanted £19 which I am happy with.
When the cost of 2 pairs piercing come £42 instead of £38, I asked why ? She blubbered saying explained to you and becomes adamant, didn't want conversation over £4 and left . I KNOW WHAT I SAID AND I KNOW WHAT SHE SAID, JUST PURE LIE AND THIEVING.
NO SHAME AT ALL.

I had new ear lobe piercings 8 weeks…Infected ear piercings

I had new ear lobe piercings 8 weeks ago and have had nothing but problems with mild infections in both. Today I found that one of the studs has gone under the skin and I am now in A and E waiting to see a doctor to see what can be done. I'm unable to push it back it back through so it may have to be cut out. Needless to say I'm not very happy with the results and after doing some research, I will be visiting the Milton Keynes store to make a complaint.

Do NOT Get Your Ears Pierced Here!

I had my ears pierced when i was 11 (not in Lovisa), then had my seconds pierced at Lovisa, the fact that they pierced me whilst I was sat on a chair in the middle of the shop floor should've been a red flag. She also pierced me with gold coloured earrings when I had asked for silvered ones, she even double checked with me before doing it and somehow still got it wrong. I also had to change them before the recommended time as I noticed early that they were going to embed, as the earrings were too short, studex do offer long post earrings, which is the length recommended for anyone that isn’t like 5, but they obviously don’t use them. Now that I am 17 and am certified to pierce using a studex pushthrough system, the same system they use, I pierced my thirds. Well that was 5 weeks ago and I've noticed that they look uneven. My fiancé (who is a trainee needle piercer and also certified to pierce using a studex pushthrough system) measured the distance between my firsts and seconds and realised that the distance between them are completely different and now my thirds are way too close to my seconds on one ear. The thirds are in the perfect place and even, but Lovisa did not measure the distance between my firsts and where my seconds would be pierced properly, resulting in them being uneven. Now that I look back, I don't even think she used a measuring tool, but due to me being younger and not knowing a lot about piercing at the time, I didn't think twice about it. Anyway, there's no way my seconds will completely close up now, no matter how long I leave them out for, as they've been pierced for almost 5 years. So unless i want to have a cosmetic surgeon stitch the hole up, I’m stuck with these. You should also know that a Studex piercing course takes roughly 30 minutes and they do not teach you how to correctly measure the ears or how to ensure they are even, how to ensure the earrings used are a suitable length for the customer, etc, that should be taught by someone experienced within the business. in my case, my boss taught me as she has 30 year of experience with piercing. Anyway, the staff here have no idea what they are doing and are very inexperienced. the store which I got my seconds pierced in (Doncaster), has since been closed down, as it should be. But there are still stores all over the UK. It is also clear that their services have not improved since my experience as I still hear some terrible horror stories when people come to the piercing shop i work at, as they need us to correct the mistakes they made by repiercing the ears in the correct place and with the correct earring length. Do not get your children’s ears pierced here, or your own if you want good results and also don’t want your earrings to get stuck in your earlobes :)
