Dear Gemma,
I’m Adam, the owner of LoveMyBedss, and I must admit I find your 1-star review both disappointing and rather unfair, particularly given the actual circumstances.
Firstly, let’s establish the facts.
Your five fabric samples were dispatched on Monday 5th October 2026, and we have proof of postage to confirm this.
We are a small, independent, family-run business. We personally spend our evenings cutting, preparing and packing fabric samples by hand, providing them completely free of charge to help customers make informed decisions before purchasing furniture.
We don’t charge for the samples, and we don’t charge for postage. It’s a service we provide entirely at our own expense.
Unfortunately, Royal Mail occasionally loses or delays smaller packages. This is frustrating for everyone involved, but it is certainly not something any business can entirely prevent.
What I find particularly unreasonable is that you chose to leave a 1-star review without making any attempt to contact us about the missing samples or giving us the slightest opportunity to resolve the matter.
A simple email, telephone call or WhatsApp message would have been enough. We would have immediately arranged replacements at absolutely no cost to you.
Instead, we discovered the issue through a public 1-star review.
Despite this, I personally took the time to contact you, apologise and offer to send all five samples again using a tracked delivery service, entirely at our expense.
A member of our team also contacted you by telephone today in a further attempt to help. During that conversation, you explained that you had already purchased a sofa elsewhere and no longer required the samples.
Of course, where you choose to purchase your furniture is entirely your decision, and we respect that.
However, I do question whether awarding a small family business the lowest possible rating is a fair reflection of its service when the items were posted, proof of postage exists, and every reasonable attempt to put things right has been made.
There is a significant difference between a business failing to provide a service and a postal delivery not reaching its intended recipient. We would have hoped that distinction might be considered before publishing such a damaging review.
We are not a large corporation with endless resources. We are a family-run business whose reputation is built through years of hard work, dedication and genuine care for our customers.
Reviews carry real consequences for businesses like ours, and whilst we fully respect every customer’s right to share their experience, we also believe reviews should fairly represent the circumstances and how a company responds when something goes wrong.
We cannot resolve an issue we have not been made aware of, and we cannot force someone to accept a resolution once it has been offered.
For the benefit of anyone reading this review, I want to make it absolutely clear that your samples were dispatched on 5 October, we hold proof of postage, and we subsequently offered to replace them free of charge using tracked delivery.
That offer was declined as you had already purchased elsewhere.
I’m disappointed that our efforts to resolve this matter don’t appear to have been taken into consideration, but I am satisfied that we have acted reasonably and done everything within our power to assist you.

We love our sofa!
We absolutely love our new sofa. It is so comfortable and exactly what were looking for. It is exactly as described online and the customer service was excellent. It was delivered quickly and we were kept informed up to the day of delivery. The price was good value and we would definitely recommend using this company.

I bought the leather Prada electric…
I bought the leather Prada electric recliner from Lovemybedss and it was hassle free.
Able to discuss with the seller about delivery options via WhatsApp.
With Free delivery included I thought it was a fair deal, updates from the delivery team keeping me informed of time estimation of delivery.
Delivery was quick only taking a few days, Sami and co were very careful and polite.

Having dealings with multiple companies during major renovation work, Love My Beds stands out a mile above the rest....extremely helpful, quick to respond, polite and accomodating re requests regarding delivery. Amit and Abdul delivered the beds, and were equally helpful and polite. Would highly recommend this company!

Great service. I used their whatsapp to ask questions and was answered quickly, the bed was delivered within a week and its great quality. It is really beautiful and looks and feels way more than it cost. I highly recommend this company. Top service from start to finish

Would highly recommend! The courier company were very helpful and accommodating. Their original delivery day/time slot didn’t work for me, so they arranged to change to another delivery day that worked better for me, even though I asked last minute. The sofa looks very stylish and is so comfortable. I would definitely use the company again.
