I am so impressed with loveitts, especially Michelle. Loveitts were the agents for the house we purchased but nothing was too much trouble.

Their sales progress agent, Michelle, kept me updated of everything going on & supported me when things didn’t go as smoothly as we’d hoped. She was so professional, approachable & honest, offering me unwavering support & guidance every step of the way despite the fact I wasn’t her direct client. She helped push our purchase over the line & without her, I honestly don’t think we’d be in our new home yet! We are forever grateful for the work she did.

We bought a property pre-auction and I must say that Rich and Sara were brilliant from start to finish. They always explained everything fully and always answered my calls and emails.

There was a bit of confusion at the start, which was frustrating, but this was soon cleared up, and the customer service after this point was exceptional and more than made up for the issues at the beginning. Paul Barnes, at the Coventry Offices, was invaluable, and he made it possible for our tenants to rent by offering a managed service that was very competitive, straightforward, tailored, and easy to do. Paul ensured a family had a secure and safe home, that we had great service, and was always available to answer any questions we had. He tailored the service to what we needed, and as such was able to offer people a chance to let a home which changed lives and futures in many ways, both known and unknown. We were lucky to meet Paul, to find an expert who cared about people and the work that he did. Over the years, the Loveitts Letting Team were there to help and provide an excellent repair service bringing peace of mind, which is appreciated. Ethan Miles was a delight to deal with when things needed to be done and contractors found. He always offered a personal touch too giving us the confidence to use Loveitts when we came to sell. Our gratitude extends to all the other Lettings staff who, over the years, have made a difference, Emma, Carol, Chris, Kyran, and all the Lettings Team, as well as the contractors. I contacted Loveitts to arrange a viewing of a house that they had advertised, which had been up for around 3 weeks.

My partner and I viewed the property and thought that it was a great property, however was in poor condition. This was fed back on a feedback form.

Despite the above, we did decide to offer on the property because it had a lot of potential. We went below asking because the price that was being asked for seemed inflated considering the condition the property was in and local market prices. This was explained when we offered on the property.

The Sales Negotiator called the following day asking our thoughts on the property. She then proceeded to tell us that they had 6 offers on the property (despite the property not having had any interest in the 3 weeks it had been up, up until we made an offer and suddenly they had 6 offers all above asking apparently!)

I received an email from the Sales Negotiator stating that she'd put the offer through to the seller.

The next day, I emailed to ask when I should expect to hear back from them. She then replied to my email and told me that the seller had decided to go with another offer. This, we felt, was poor communication because this information was not relayed to us prior to us reaching out to them.

I became a bit suspicious of the Sales Negotiator, so had somebody I knew call the estate agent and ask if the property was still available to view. In the background of this call were 3 other people who heard the conversation I will describe. Upon asking if it was available, they were informed that it was still available, the seller had received offers but declined them. This is a discrepancy between what I was told and what they were telling other people.

I decided to follow this up with the Sales Negotiator who told me that she'd definitely not spoken to anybody about the property or said it was available.

My point here is that most people will know that estate agents can be dishonest to secure higher prices (though obviously it's against their ethics and they will deny ever having any conversations that they have most definitely had). Of course they don't owe buyers anything as the seller is their customer, but at least be honest and transparent with a buyer for the reason their offer is rejected (if it's too low - that's fine, say that!) and don't lie and say another offer has been accepted when it clearly has not and the property is still for sale!

I was considering increasing my offer further until I picked up on what they were doing. I won't be viewing anymore properties advertised by Loveitts.

We have received excellent service from this company. Sara Herbert and her team have worked tirelessly to secure a sale at a great price in challenging circumstances. Don’t hesitate to instruct this company. You won’t be disappointed.

Our experience with Loveitts Letting Agent has been extremely disappointing. They entered our rental property without prior consent, conducted a final inspection (3 weeks before ending our contract) and left the electricity and heating on, adding unnecessary costs to us. They then took the keys back to their office, restricting our access even though we were still legally responsible for the property.

The end-of-tenancy process was poorly managed, causing unnecessary stress. Throughout the tenancy, they also failed to carry out regular inspections properly, which led to issues for both us and the landlord at the end.

When questioned about their unauthorised visit, they made excuses, claiming they had only sent us a viewing request (not an inspection request) and decided to carry out an inspection anyway simply because we didn’t reply to one email. keep saying that we authorised it and quite annoying. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Looking at other reviews, I can see a pattern—Loveitts always tries to prove themselves right, no matter what, with a complete lack of accountability. Their ego-driven approach makes dealing with them incredibly frustrating.

Such a bad letting agent—we would not recommend them to anyone looking for a fair and professional service.
